Wanted to add that I called as soon as I detect an problem and they sent a technician out . 24/7 is nice especially with no crisis charge.
What a process. He explained everything and recommended what's ideal for me. The clog was repaired in no time. I was surprised that every service include a 6 months warranty. This may give some added reassurance to me.

A backflow test is just $55-$75 nearly anyplace but origin rooter!
It is wise to contact me soon or Mr. Don could be on the news !
Do your homework men it pays, and if they will not give you a price over the phone they are crooks.
He charged us $190 for a backflow test that just took 45 minutes to him. . When I called to question that the amount charged I had been given the runaround about hourly rates- I had been transferred to a person who'd have the ability to help me but waited on the phone for 17 minutes just to get disconnected after several automated transfers... There were no parts or provide's needed, no pricey one time use resources - $190 for just a backflow test is absurd. . DON BYINGTON profiled us and charged us more since we are living in a nicer neighborhood and since we did not know any better and he knew it...

I am needing an adjustment / reimbursement ASAP and Won't let this move
I just called due to the commercials I remember seeing when I was younger Roto router. .
I was not home when this test was completed she doesn't know any better and my spouse was there, the business rotor router said they would come out and give us a free estimate to look at our backflow so my wife scheduled it. .
ARRIVED @2:00pm

Called yesterday to schedule an appointment to investigate a drain on a house I have in Alton, Il. So I drove over I live in Missouri, arrived at 11am sharp to get a window which goes till 3pm.
I receive a phone at 12:15pm inquiring if my appointment was designed for 11am or pm. I stated the guy and 11am stated the individual he'd have somebody out within an hour or two and who took my phone put down it for pm. We had a laugh and that I waited some more.
I wasted an entire day a capable plumbing company might have come fix my issue of the time just at 1/5th to be jerked around some more with nothing accomplished. Never using Roto Rooter.
After 3pm the guy says his plumbers all are on appointments and calls me and he would get somebody out to me asap. I explain that I live over an hour away and some time estimate would be helpful. "An hour or two" He states. 5:05pm rolls around and I get another call he would get somebody to me and they're all busy. I'm pretty angry now and explain that I did everything I was supposed to perform so why am I getting ignored for my critique and I have? He admits that"it will be late" at the time that he could possibly get out someone.

I phoned at 2:15 to create an appointment to have a drain pipe clog eliminated at the St. Louis MO area. To begin with I have 15 decades of experience as a helper starting off as a secretary so know the principles of being a"gate keeper". The scheduler was asked by me if they had some specials and was advised that she does not have access to this information. I let it slip understanding I am empathetic to anybody in the customer service field and that all it requires is a search in the most. I had been given the time frame of 5:00-9:00 pm. We made sure that our whole evening was liberated to wait for a plumber. Old baby on a program thats not convenient but neither is a drain pipe clog and needing a plumber to repair it. At 7:44 pm they called us to tell us that they haven't forgotten about us and that they will give a 30 min to us. Courtesy call. No one had predicted and it had been 9:24. So I gave Roto Rooter a telephone . And has been on hold for several minutes. The secretary let me know that they would give me a call . At 9:37 they phoned and I asked wait period and they stated that we were next in line and that we would get a courtesy telephone. Kind of annoyed but good to know that we were following in line. Subsequently... In 10:21 they phoned to let me know that they didn't have a plumber accessible and asked if I needed to reschedule for tomorrow morning. I stated that if we wanted to we'd call back. THAT TIME WASTED FOR NOTHING!!! ALL So. They have lost business and pissed off us as potential customers.

Had a significant issue night. They needed someone to verify although TWO guys came out and had me believing it'd be in tens of thousands to fix. Mind you this was of these working after hours. The following day Jason came out and instantly knew the issue. Then inside the HOUR had it fixed. Jason is wonderful.
RR should you read this Please don't hire individuals that are inexperienced to be scheduled for emergencies it just increases the hassle!!!

When I called to cancel, they didn't have my appointment but never communicated when/where.
Thanks, but no thanks, I will take my business elsewhere.
Followed up with a telephone call to confirm the appointment.
Scheduled an appointment online, never obtained reply or a confirmation.

Shaun with Roto-Rooter was amazing. He explained all repairs and the estimates only so that I understood what was being done and exactly what I paid for. He was lively, nice to have in an all around nice guy and the home. He left us a few recommendations for our following fix. I'd utilize Roto-Rooter again.

Matt #3964 was courteous and helpful. Did an wonderful job. I was VERY happy. Arrived on time and worked out hard.

I am totally a fan of Paul! About telling me what upfront until he got started, he was efficient and very considerate! His support was fast and he came earlier in my"time block" which was a huge incentive for me considering I needed to take some time off of work to take care of this! That being said-the 4-star rating is because the price was outrageous. That wasn't under Paul's control-but wow. I would undoubtedly enoucrage RR to figure out a way to decrease costs considering that was such a simple fix for an expert such as Paul and he had been here for 20-25" shirts including set up and cleanup.

We predicted Roto Rooter after business hours for an emergency and they could send a tech out over the hour at no additional charge. The techs were patient and answered all my questions and concerns. They left a situation manageable and that I would use their service again in the long run.

The scheduling agent, Chad, kept us up and was diligent in finding someone who could come.
The plumbers who installed the hwh comprehensive and were very professional. They explained what they do and gave an estimate of if they'd be done and approximately how much it'd cost.

The business has one star. I need to be fair and say that they did indeed send somebody out who had been congenial and fixed my problem, although there are many reasons for that. But that was two days following the original missed appointment along with me asking a tech to get out of my home on the next day of the odyssey when he told me he wasn't going to wait while I moved some plastic tubs from the way so he would get his machine to my drain.
Something else yelpers should be aware of is that when the tech leaves your home they provide you with a piece of paper asking you to provide them a review and once a week they draw 1 name of someone who's reviewed them and gives them a refund on their service. I don't mind a business asking for reviews, that is just part of the world today. But I think all of the reviews NOT recommended by Yelp might be people trying to become plumbing that is totally free.
I spoke with the director of the St. Louis office one of his assistant managers and individuals in their corporate office in order to receive my drain started. It took a great deal of aggravation and time, and I could have found someone else to do the work, but I had used this business previously and had been prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Take my reviews. Maybe I'm a small miffed at the situation. Maybe I'm just inclined to let it like it is. But I always feel that forewarned is forearmed.
What I utilize Roto-Rooter again? I really don't think so. Do I consider the work they did for me personally adequate? Yes, however, it required time and effort to get it done. Are you currently satisfied with this work? Truth be told no more, I overpaid, was inconvenienced, and should have been treated by individuals both in the offices. I haven't heard from that Pat woman who responded (or had a bot respond) to my first review, and one would think she May Have followed up to determine if I had been taken care of
What they did was give me a jar of drain treatment alternative which retails for $61 but must cost them much less than that for my trouble. Then when I spoke to the branch supervisor, I asked him why they didn't produce a meaningful compensation and he advised me they would give me $50 off my service. He then asked me to update my critique. That I am doing today.
As a consumer who had been inconvenienced and treated badly by this business, I expected that they would produce some kind of reimbursement for the missed appointments and also the method by which the technician treated me on the next day of the situation. But that wasn't exactly the case.

They sent out Maurice to provide out service, and we received a call. The whole time we has cordial and considerate. He explained everything that he do and answered all my questions. He worked to open the lineup and had us back in a brief amount of time in order. He even spent time cleaning up the mess left from our copy in the basement that's more than I honestly expected of him.
I would contact them for additional desired problems later on and would definitely recommend them to others. They have coupons available on the web site for discounts.
Had a slow drain in the cellar, and I understood it was due to roots though the clay medial tiles, growing. Contacted Roto Rooter since they took care of our kitchen spout issues. So I thought getting an appointment on short notice was going to be a problem I have a schedule, but it wasn't. They could set up a time fitting my needs.

I received a call from Andy, our tech, when he was 45 minutes away, and also at 10:15 a.m., '' he arrived. Andy was SUPER helpful and friendly. Roots were our problem, and he managed to cable enough to give us a tiny function ago , something a visit from a sewer firm could not do. Now you understand we were expecting Andy to camera our lateral if you've been reading this far. But Andy didn't have a camera. It was with another tech. Andy managed to call the camera tech, in which he relayed that he would arrive between 1:00-4:00 p.m.. I would not be so frustrated about this if we were informed from the very start, when booking the visit, that this could be the situation. If they would have told me ) the time windows for tech coming; and 2) that there would be TWO technicians rather than one who'd come at unique times, then all would be OK. But no, I needed to go from expecting to be back at 1:00 pm, all of a sudden, having to take the entire day off. Good thing I've a sensible employer - they do not, although it might be helpful if Roto-Rooter understood that, and for some, it is not simple.
Gabby, the camera tech, was amazing. He marked our yard and explained what could happen. Both Andy and Gabby were wonderful. I just wish I could say the Exact Same for the scheduling/dispatch department(s)
Overall, the scheduling/dispatch department(s) need to practice definite and specific communication with customers. Clients need to understand these things! Not only is having a sewer backing up an inconvenience - that I was prepared to cope with when I called - but scheduling/dispatch that is Roto-Rooter made it EVEN inconvenient. Roto-Rooter, also please be sure you understand what equipment your technicians carry together, which means you can prepare customers for the visit of another technician, if necessary, and please be sure EVERY client gets the technician coming time WINDOW. This is not rocket science. You guys can AND should perform.
When the camera tech arrived another illustration of communication that was terrible happened. Just like with Andy, we were told when the camera tech was on the way, we would receive a call. We were ASSURED that we can"run errands" while awaiting the call. We were informed that we were going to get a call when he was en route?! At this point, Roto-Rooter better thank their lucky stars. This is now TWICE in one day where their communication abilities that are terrible have caused implications for me.
Our sewer was come outside to camera and cable by roto-Rooter. Both the technicians were speedy helpful and prepared to describe everything they do. I would give 5 stars, if I were rating on the technicians alone. The reason for not giving 5 stars is due to the scheduling and dispatch department(s). After we called to schedule the visit, they informed us that a tech could arrive at 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled day with camera, waterjet and cable. Great, I thought, I can take a half a day off work, and all will be done prior to 1:00 p.m. To me, this was NOT THE CASE. When no one had arrived by 8:20 a.m., we predicted Roto-Rooter. What?! Why wasn't the time window given to us when we scheduled the visit four days past?! This question was ignored, and we were told they would call if they were on the way; most probably, it would be closer to 10:30 a.m.

Used them 5years ago. Good experience, so I scheduled on line for now - really straightforward. Got a confirmation e-mail and telephone. . wonderful. The plumber called approximately 1/2 hour before he came. Got here 5 min. Early - excellent. Described what he was going to perform until he gave me an estimate and began. So it seemed like he was never here, worked diligently, cleaned up. Very nice guy, did outstanding work. Price came in below estimate which was the best part aside from getting of my issues fixed. Will make certain they are.

Because flushing would not stop, I called them at 6am the day, and they sent Shaun here. He was very professional, respectful, and explained the parts that had to be mended. The charge was a bit higher than a plumber visit that is usual, but quite reasonable given you had someone here on a vacation. I would recommend them.

We had a crisis basement flood during sub zero wind chill and snow. Roto Rooter was on the issue within hours of the telephone call! I was impressed with how nicely Matt (3964) clarified our difficulty. He didn't attempt to sell us something that was not likely to work... he could have ! He was not condescending rather fine and professional. He also didn't complain about the cold and the snow that he had to stand in and attempt to loosen screws that are frozen away from the lid that is septic. A real trooper! We'll definitely use Roto Rooter for drain emergencies!

We known as Roto Rooter about problems. Glenn was the man that gave us a courtesy camera check to make sure how awful it was and when we needed to set up pipe and came out to us. I appreciate him going that extra mile and giving us advice on what to do, and we chose to get our septic dug out and replaced with pipe in no time; particularly considering this was on a Saturday, when service men would be booked. Roto-Rooter has been great to us and professional, and I'd recommend them.

FINALLY! Highly suggested!
A plumber I trust! Don was amazing and honest as it came to repairing my sink. This is the first time in fifteen decades of owning my home I have never felt ripped off or taken advantage of, particularly being a single mother. I am so thankful to find a business that met and exceeded my expectations on all or any marks.

I've not ever seen them hurry to get done and were happy to answer all my questions. As a tech I watched everything they did and they did not appear to mind my being there the entire time.
I'll continue to utilize them.
I've used Roto-Rooter 4 times now. I've had 3 distinct technicians and also all 3 were very distinct and took good care of the issues in a timely manner. Twice, they came out after hours.
