Sami's Plumbing

I called Sami's Plumbing and they arrived in just a few hours and gave me a quotation. They had been patient while I grabbed checked it with my father (even talked to him about the telephone ) and answered all my questions. He managed to help us figure out how to replace a part of the deal of and was very good about describing the cost of the job ourselves. He gave a 1 year warranty on parts and labor . Would call again for certain.

So I routed Sami's plumbing a message that I was looking to replace our complete plumbing system in the home considering getting the basement remodeled. I'd expect to spend a few thousand dollars on a large project but decided to take my business elsewhere when I received a response'$80 to come out to a quote .'
No thanks, I will take my $4,000-$5,000 job elsewhere smh...

Quite happy with the ethics and service of Sami. Their technician came out to look at a leak in our upstairs bathroom. As opposed to cut a hole in our ceiling and charge us a fee, he advised us to monitor the leak so we are able to determine the origin and they are able to come back and fix it without destroying our sterile wall. The technician did not even charge us a visit fee since he was in the region already. We will call them back to complete the repairs.

Total waste of time.

I sent out requests for estimates, received 5 answers (most wanting more info , quite reasonably so) and Sam's Plumbing. Fantastic Lord, fantastic thing I am stuck on a lengthy telcon with time to waste....and warn.
Disingenous, to say the very least. They state they provide estimates on Yelp? Sure. They estimate how much they will charge one estimate the actual work and to come out.
"I bill a dispatch fee because I really don't want to deal with rude customers that waste the poor technicians period. $40 is a reasonable price. So you called 6 firms and calling more, wasting their time. Great for you" That is the response.
He does not understand that Yelp send an petition out. SMH.

I found Eric to be somewhat knowledgeable about the job that I wanted. He explains things quite well, and gives you choices on how you need to approach a project if there is more than one way to achieve that. He's extremely effective and came immediately and understood the problems I had instantly. He's quite good about describing the total cost. His job is exceptional and he took the opportunity to show me how things worked after the project was done. I highly recommend him, and I would be pleased to have him return which I might need to have done.

Support for a day water issue, and I love that they didn't try to up-sell me that is usually the case! Keeping this number on my speed dial.

May 30, 2019 eric responded on late night immediately to our scheduling request. Then, on the telephone, he correctly diagnosed the cause of our toilet problem, and guided us to resolve the issue without getting us to some. We are very thankful for professionalism and his generosity!

My experience using Eric was nothing but extremely professional and agreeable. He went on for a telephone call and cut to the chase. He went as far to give me the answer over the telephone as I explained the problem. Then offered if I cannot fix it With a price, he would come out and do it. From because today I had an notion about what could have gone wrong with my in sinkerator and what he explained over the telephone I was able to solve the issue with a few online research YouTube videos . However, if I had not been told by him what the problem was, I'd never have managed to resolve it on my own. I use and will recommend Eric for potential plumbing problems. For someone who has never placed her head beneath the sink, I feel like I had accomplished a monumental task by minding the garbage disposal. Future client that is happy!

I understand by taking my business elsewhere, I saved myself a lot of heartburn.
I needed to replace a shower faucet's capsule . Another company got the same task done the exact same day for $205. I would rather be economical than being taken for a ride. This is.

His quote was 2x of what others quoted for a plumbing repair that is simple. I figure it costs a lot to"get" a high Yelp score!!

Look, there is a reason why Sami's is so highly ranked. It's because they're fucking amazing. FUCKING. AMAZING.
1) Super educated. My gas range is outdated as balls; this item was original to the (80s) building, so nothing was to current code. He knew exactly how to uninstall.
Do you want an awesome plumber that can work magic? Telephone Sami's and request Eric.
2) In order to install the new cooker and new pipings and whatever the hell he had to work while the gas was live. As in, flowing in the kitchen. He had to work quickly, and super carefully to install everything he needed to install, without giant fireballs etc.. As swiftly as possible and with safety at the peak of the agenda, he got my kitchen to the 21st century, and installed a new shutoff valve, my new selection.
(side note: building engineer came up to test out things and was profoundly impressed that Eric was educated and awesome and may really do the job.
Was all this cheap? Hell no. Was it worth every penny? Fuck yea.

I finally chosen another service (somebody who's worked extensively in my neighborhood) to replace my water heater but the quality of the customer support I received warranted me giving Sami's their due kudos. I had called and spoken with Eric who requested for photographs --he replied quickly and provided me with an estimate. This discussion was sufficient for me to continue to reach out to quotes/estimates/service in the future.

Eric himself rented the equipment that was necessary to satisfy our deadline that was after his subcontractor was shown to be hard about timing. Pipe angles were a problem, when he showed up and he did everything such as getting up on the roof.
Eric went above and beyond and that he will surely be getting my business. What more could you want?
We're in the process of buying a house and our inspector recommended we get a plumber to scope the sewer pipes to see if we had Orangeburg pipes (horrible should you ). After phoning around, Eric managed to provide me a price and, even better, he managed to come the next day so we could get the pipes.

Turns out the dishwasher issue was created by an oversight with all the garbage disposal installation. I was so disappointed to have paid exactly what I feel was a high price just to not have the job done right and to have gone through all the hassle with my renter again to get an appliance repair guy in to fix issue two (which cost more!) So, I wrote to Eric to express my disappointment. I really don't want to bore you with all the details than Eric made an honest mistake, but it became apparent. He cried and paid the invoice we had from the appliance repair company that same day.
I discovered them throughout Yelp. I had really written about some job on one of our rentals months before he was used by us but they were not available in the time we needed. However Eric is extremely good about responding quickly and really answering the questions I asked rather than giving me the run around (like most home service businesses have a tendency to do.) Therefore, the next time we needed work done, I thought of them.
They are not cheap. But it was due to this tenant and their scheduling problems I just wanted it taken care of rather than phoning around for lower prices and the weekend. Eric did the job and was professional.
I didn't even ask for the him to pay the invoice... he offered. I was dreading the capacity because I figured it would soak up an hour or two of my time with a whole lot of back and forth and become a hassle of asking. But it wasn't... Eric stands behind his job... and for that reason alone I would call him again and/or recommend him to others.

I contacted them wondering that maybe they had been like the faucet and the garbage disposal things in the quotation (even though that were the case it was pretty high) but to my surprise they said that they are not, the cost was just for its setup. I told them that their quotation was just like 3 times more than the remainder and contacted, but I didn't receive any answers.
I have contacted several organizations to get a quote. I got about 6-8 quotes, and they were in the assortment of $200-$400. I was given an estimate of $960 by this company.
Stay way way and look somewhere else.
Complete rip-off. I guess they simply take advantage or do not know much about installation fees.

Eric replaced a leaking garbage disposal on Saturday for all of us, a couple hours after we called. His price was reasonable, he worked effectively, and that he answered all of our questions (including some unrelated to garbage disposals). We would work with Sami's Plumbing again.

My review for Sami's Plumbing. Eric was quickly set up a hot water heater in a little more than 2 hours and specialist. I'd recommend their service to anyone searching for a trusted plumber.

Fantastic support. He provided me a no pressure quotation and showed up early. For what he billed me , went above the call of support. I would recommend him for all plumbing work that is upcoming to anybody that wants it. I would use him again.

Called Eric up again for toilet and sink problems. As a repeat customer, he came out to our home provided estimates and supplied us on the best way best to repair the issues options. He said to give it a shot and when it couldn't be fixed by us, we can call him. We were able to repair ourselves. Surprisingly honest man who wanted to help and enabled us with options. Sami's Plumbing is definitely my go to guy when I've any plumbing problems small or large!

I had a great experience with Eric from Sami's Plumbing. He snaked out a bathtub and a sink for us last week I phoned him back to snake our laundry pipe. Shows up calls back, meticulous, knows his stuff, does not waste time is very personable. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.
