I called Schaaf at the afternoon and they were responsive and set up a time to come in the day. They arrived as promised and helped troubleshoot the regions. There were sources for bathrooms and the low stress kitchen and Manny helped determine all the triggers and fixed the problems. He also replaced all of the shower handles and cartridges. Very professional and thorough. I would suggest Schaaf to anyone.
I had difficulties at our place at Edgewater with cold water leak in our kitchen bathrooms. Even after clearing out the aerators and running the water, the water pressure was extremely low. We also wanted shower handles to be replaced.

The baseboard heating on my floor wasn't working. In addition, the valve to my faucet was leaking. Jimmy n his assistant arrived n fixed all of the issues in one hour. Work n really professional. I highly recommend!

As a new homeowner, I am so pleased to have discovered such a plumbing firm. We've had two serious crises that we needed to call Schaaf for. He did a fantastic job and reacted quickly for both crises. The very first time because our heat was not working in the center of January!! we predicted I said we had a baby and it was freezing and Manny showed RIGHT AWAY up to fix the problem. The last time was for a leak in our basement and that he arrived to fix the clog thing in the morning. They also have done tasks like repairing leaks in our faucet, installing our nest chimney, and a bathtub escape. Their prices are cheap! I strongly recommend this company to anyone searching for a reliable plumber.

The morning comes back he said $700 since the valves were nearly $40 each. I calculated ok looked good for the price range he gave.
I happened to open up my radiator to adjust something and just google the purchase price and also to my surprise, so many sellers on internet at $20 per piece. Was furious but it was months past and that I didnt need to bother speaking without a detailed bill with them.
My first 1 star review everywhere. They jip you off on component cost, I was told $40 per valve and discovered it was 20 on google search. They installed 10 so was jipped off $200.
Besides being jipped off on materials, I called the man to solve some rooms not being heated and he said mending the valves went to solve it. The room was better but certainly not mended. I didnt need to get jipped off so just called another corporation.
Here' the complete story. I called these guys to resolve some of my rooms not getting much heat from my steam boiler. Manny said the reason would be my water valve isn't closing in tight so it requires replacement and also the valves inside my radiators are old so recommended that they be switched. I was quoted possibly $12 a valve and asked if I needed them done in most of the rooms, I said sure. He said he'd come back in few days since he didnt have the valves. He estimated possibly $400~$500(1 water pipe valve+10radiator valves).
Upto by asking to quote two items but certainly perform your due diligence you to utilize those men, the exact element +what labour and the cost will be. Im sure contractors will attempt to squeeze the most out of your occupation but these men are one of these.

Each time we have a problem we seem to always return into Schaaf Plumbing. Schaaf knows what they are doing although plumbers tried. They're on the side. The issue is done with in a timely issue. Staff and joe is friendly and very respectful.

These guys came two days later to install and gave me a cost to get a water heater installation. They have been respectful, comprehensive, took his time to walk me, and before leaving, tested everything, cleaned up after themselves. No hidden expenses, no surprises. Will be using them again!

Joe and Jimmy were equally good communication and getting someone out to my place early Sunday morning when I had a drain clog which would not let anything pass. They delivered constant upgrades via texts and email and I was sent bill and a recap both through text and email after the service had been completed. My clog was taken care of in less than 5 minutes. Do not be afraid to reach out to these men.

They're great. Joe was across the street at a new home (Cliffside), I thought he was the general contractor... I inquired whether he would recommend a fantastic plumber. He explained,"um, me?" A couple of minutes after, he came and fixed the issue. I will certainly make recommendations and referrals. Good people.
