Kevin, the plumber, called on his way and could not have been nicer. When he came, he took the opportunity to describe all the possibilities. He was incredibly thorough, and at one stage, he believed we might have a cartridge difficulty on the combination valves. Kevin took the opportunity.
I could not believe they were planning to ship a business out of Gilbert up beyond Carefree Highway, however they did. I got a little nervous, As soon as I assessed Yelp.
In the long run, it was the recirculation pump. It was replaced by him and the hot water began running flawlessly. Quite happy with this company on this call.
Started having a hot water issue. I understood the hot water tank was OK, so like we might have a recirculation pump it looked.

Nicely....they are now my heroes! Kevin came out yesterday because we had a sewer clog. He also fixed the problem and worked out. AND the excellent news?? With membership...I have one totally free support! This would have been a repair and thanks to Kevin and Smith Plumbing, I don't have to eat rice and legumes the rest of the month!! Thank you for the honesty, integrity, and fantastic support!!
I can't say enough great about Smith Plumbing, Heating and Cooling! I had them outside to replace a bathroom and resolve a toilet sink, approximately three weeks ago and at the moment, I signed up for"membership".

No celebrities would be the review. Our garbage disposal went outside, we bought a new one and the old one was removed by my husband. He could not get the new one set up, as he was out of the hospital and recoveringhe could do it. I called Smith plumbing, and two I inquired about pricing. I was told they had fair pricing, and would need to look at the job.
Do not hire them for whatever, they price gouge and take advantage of the elderly. NEVER AGAIN.
We paid $318.00 for the brand new disposal installation, the tech was at our house about a half hour. I called and spoke to the proprietor, he said he'd talk to the tech and call me back. Of course I never received a telephone. He is in a meeting when I call.
Following the tech arrived, he told us it would be 318.00. We has no running water from the kitchen and no choice but to pay them $318.00 to install the disposal, labor only. Because he knew, gouging us we had no choice.

Kevin was so generous to come back all the way from our house in Phoenix to double check an issue that wasn't reflected on our home inspection report (which Smith Plumbing conducted). It ended up being a fix that we just hadn't thought of-- definitely somewhat embarrassing, but I am not convinced that we'd have figured it out without his help! :)

Beware. This firm closed their listing due to negative reviews. I wasn't the only one. Do your homework before ANY plumber.

I had Smith come out before and that man was nice. I kept their magnet and I am so happy I did!!!!
Mike helped me out with my bathroom that has been bugging me having an issue. He listened to my description of the matter and he also quickly fixed my issue. He had been in and out in under 20 minutes! Finest part - it was SUPER cheap!
Mike came out now, & took care of my issue. He gave a call in advance to me, showed up on time, was presentable and clean, and very professional.
I felt as the folks they send out professional and are so polite. They provide you with the impression that they are aware that you are a person - not only a job - and they treat you.

Hot water was not being provided by A shower. The plumber came out and stated the Moen cartridge needed to be substituted. He claimed the Moen product was expensive and the entire cost was under $300. Since we were having company over and they'd use this bathroom I agreed to the occupation. I learned the actual cost of this cartridge was $60. In fact, I was told by the plumber I could have bought shower head a new deal, and bathroom head from Lowes for less than $120.

I phoned Smith Plumbing and explained the situation to Alex-- and also also this guy told me he wasn't far away, he would go and shut the water off for my tenant for free! That is exactly what he did, although I could not believe it. I would recommend them to anybody and phone them again in a heartbeat.
I had a crisis when my rental house in Tempe sprung a leak about midnight on my tenant. I called around to find out what could be carried out and live out of state. I knew I could have somebody fix in the morning for a reasonable fee if I could get the water which my bad tenant wasn't able to do. Informed me that they would not even SHOW UP for less than $125, before they'd even LOOK at anything. The plumber at George Brazil told me that I was probably looking at about $600-700. I was horrified.

Their Vice President I managed to schedule some repairs after he consented the work wasn't up to criteria, after getting in touch with David. Regrettably Mike, the person who originally did the subpar work, was. After taking off a Friday afternoon to fulfill themMike spent approximately 4 hours making things worse, then abandoned without letting me know, and left my garage door wide open at a neighborhood. At this point I was livid and gave Dave(their VP) a call. He asked if they could have one more chance to make things right, and again agreed. I told him I'd be happy to give them another chance provided Mike comes near my house again. Hence the next we advised Kevin. Man, what a difference, I immediately felt his professionalism. He took one look at the work that was prior and shook his head. He then asked if he can essentially start from scratch and do things right...I gave and enthusiastic"yes!" . Fast forward 3 hours and Kevin's work was great. Pipe runs, joints that are clean , routing that made sense. While I wouldn't let Mike anywhere close to anything that I have again, I do hope Smith Plumbing to do what is right when problems arise, and wouldn't hesitate to urge Kevin.

I want to send a quick note letting you know how pleased I am with one of your employees' support Mike Clark. I made a question on the internet and over 30 minutes received a call from Mike I want to know he can make it over to take a look at my plumbing concerns. Mike explained what I thought were issues and gave me a step or the problems with the plumbing to repair. What I thought could potentially be issues or issues with the plumbing, Mike explained what I looked at was normal and there wasn't any requirement. I really don't understand. Employees would inquire what is the problem, you show them and they fix it knowing it was not something that required repair. I commend Mike and Smith Plumbing for doing things the right way. Honesty, courteous and careful. I will work with you and refer you to family and friends when there's a requirement because I understand I will get an honest answer from your employees and your business has and always will do things the right way.

Stay away Came to our house Provided ZERO estimate for repairs Tech stated he had to get a part from his truck. While I was buy together with our dog sitter, he repaired it. Took him 10 minutes Part proved to be a plastic gizmo that cost less than $50 The invoice was $312.50 Yes you read it right...$312.50. An owner by the name of David promised to"make it right" Obviously he never returned several calls. I intend to file his bond business this past week and a complaint with the ROC.

I loved them coming out on short notice to get a busted water heater and getting it done. Thought the price was high but haven't shifted one so not positive if it had been any more than most competitors. Mike installed it efficiently and fast I would use them again.

I had a simple leak in my toilet's wall worth. Tech Mike replaced the worth quickly and economically for a affordable price. He also gave me a quick tutorial to substitute the tank seals and bolts since the bathroom looked to be old enough to require this upkeep.

Do not use Smith Plumbing. Left my house a whole mess after a fix that was cluttered. They do not carry the most basic plumbing materials on their trucks, had to make many trips.

Seriously fantastic- I had an emergency -draining toliet and what there was a mes happening. . Steve called me back- here within an hour! Due to the rapid nature of the problem I figured I'd better use a large company thinking they had been rude and they'd have the ability to get out fast so I had called George Brazil and condescending I decided to provide a smaller business a go. So very glad I did. What a great experience. . .Steve was so professional and nice. THIS is how service is finished.

Had an emergency this morning, they were quick to react that was great. Here is great. Quoted $175, could be more or $250 he said. Had a task of clearing a block. Could not clear it using the snake that he had had to return to shop two miles away and get a bigger one. The entrance to the line did not take too long and was on the side of the home, easy accessibility. At the conclusion it is $394.01 with taxation. He said the ER fee was waived by him. After speaking to another plumber giving situation to him, Do not make sense that he said it was much more than it should have been.
He did offer to wash the wall where dirt out of his tool was abandoned. I took him up on the deal.

Very plumber. They told me I had repairs costing a few thousand bucks. I brought in a different plumber who did different repairs for two or three hundred dollars and everything works flawlessly. I was deserted by smith about halfway through the project --either I paid thousands of dollars for repairs that were unnecessary or else they wouldn't come out! Their plumbers don't come out in a company-owned van. They are freelancers who drive pickup truck or a private van. They billed me for it and disappeared from my house for 2 hours.

I have used Smith Plumbing previously but to fix a drain dilemma. The plumber gave me advice on fixing a few other issues around my home and was favorable. Had an excellent experience in the event that you need a fantastic plumber at the Tempe/Ahwatukee/Chandler place, give them a phone.
