Tony LaMartina sent a plumber out to fix a leaky faucet. As it predates that technologies, the faucet didn't have a cartridge. The plumber was very courteous and showed up on time. He explained why it leaked, how he was planning to repair it, but that the faucet was old enough that it likely did not have too a lot times before we would want to consider replacing it, that it could be repaired. The price was very reasonable.
However, I digress.
When Yves analyzed the faucet only a trickle of water came out. He initially told me that there was probably debris which got loosened in the installation process (my words, not his). However, after he eliminated the aerator he spent a couple of minutes extracting. "We do not need no stinken water conservation!" Actually, it's only the two of us, and there was an problem, while I did install water conserving shower heads for a basement sink which we do not use that often I did not think down water conservation.
I left the appointment and because the young lady on the phone informed me, I had been texted when Yves was on his way. Wonderful touch. That greatly reduced the odds of a killer.
The water appeared like you'd expect, with pressure, when Yves put the aerator back without both plastic components.
I was surprised they had the moment, a plumber which could come. I asked"Do you offer senior discounts?" Regrettably, they don't, but as my lifeless Momma used to say,"It does not hurt to ask."
I am giving Tony LaMartina Plumbing Company 5 stars despite having suffered from"sticker shock" when presented with the invoice.
Now I left the home to buy a plumbers basin wrench, and two flexible water distribution lines. I managed to acquire the wrench but unable to loosen them. One of them had rust around it so I sprayed some WD-40 onto it since I did not have any"Lock-Ease." I gave it a couple of minutes and tried again. No achievement.
I am handy around the home. In fact, a part of the reason why my wife married me is because"I am fine with my hands" . As I'd done many times in the past in other houses, I figured I would install the faucet myself.
I had been struck by Yves professionalism in the moment he entered my home and slipped on two pink"booties" on his sneakers, to avoid soiling my carpeting or hardwood floors. Since you know, pink is a calming color, although any amateur would have used another color. Okay, I am being a little silly with this one.
It required only a little under one hour when he had been done in response to my question,"What is the damage?" He calculated the charges on a tablet computer, then emailed a copy to me.
Yves came about 20 minutes later and if he backed up his truck on my two words entered my head: Cha and Ching!
After shutting the water off I eliminated the water source lines. I then removed the drain stopper nearer parts, but ran into a snag. Because of the narrow space under this porcelain sink, I could not get any of my wrenches or station locks .
That you get exactly what you pay for and I got a job, and since I would not have understood about the water conservation aspect needed a pro to complete what I began.
After a careful review of the reviews I predicted Tony LaMartina. That's Tony LaMartina, such a title. Kind of reminds me of Al Pacino's character in the movie Scarface - Tony Mantanya. "Say hello to my little wrench"
My spouse was planning to kill me. $162 for a basement sink which people only use once in a while? I could only imagine what the invoice would have been if I hadn't done much of this preliminary work and decided to maintain the older metallic drain, rather than install the plastic one that came with the faucet.
(to establish it, I could recall when White Castles were 5 cents a bit ).
There are no better ones although there may be plumbers out there. I would spend the extra money in case you can sell something on Craigslist to raise fundage, and hire a professional, or have this. There's something to be said for reassurance.
Yves told me I'd purchased the instrument, actually he used it to take out the nuts which were too tight for old man that was elderly that was wimpy to loosen. Then attach the water lines that were flexible and he jumped to finish the removal of the old faucet and set up the faucet.
However, I also figured he was sure to have any instrument or part needed to complete the job.
Yves is to make him feel comfy I provided him a few ganga mahn and put on some Bob Marley, to enjoy while he worked and originally from Haiti. That part is untrue. But we did chat briefly about Haiti ago I visited Labadee, Haiti.
I explained how much I got, and also how I'd tried to do the job myself and headed Yves to the basement. I showed him the wrench I bought.
Let us take the cost and review the facts.
Day 3 at the house and that I hooked up the washer to find the faucet leaking out of the handle. I erred on the side of caution and predicted at a professional. Mike came out provided the alternative, and walked me. Fair price for your work. Will be my first phone call for any plumbing requirements.
Without any hesitation, for almost any other plumbing needs since, I have had them upgrade my sump pump and will use them again!
All my interactions (scheduling appointments, questions, etc) are positive and simple. Even paying is simple. The labor rate reflects the level of professionalism, service, and quality which you will receive.
I fully trust and urge Tony LaMartina Plumbing to anybody. I found them on Yelp when my master bathroom shower was draining through my kitchen ceiling. I have a home that is newer, so I considered tragedy and this type of surprise. Within an hour I was phoned by them and I messaged the business on Yelp, set an appointment for the day, and left me feeling like there was expectation. The plumber arrived, evaluated the job, offered for each and provided me options including pros/cons. It is standard to have many businesses estimate and assess the project, but I felt that I really could go with Tony LaMartina. So I really did. That day.
Good customer service and communication. A family run business who cares about their customers. Knowledgable plumbers and staff who do their job efficiently and quickly. Plumbers in Saint Louis!
When it rains it stinks, literally. Our sump pump decided it was time and the drain in our furnace room agreed to join the strike. Upon evening, being mid in addition to discovering this dreadful situation was place calls to LaMartina plumbing and our insurance company. Additionally I looked at websites discovering that next day service would not be an alternative. The following morning, I called at 8.
Our choices were to create an appointment for a different day or if some thing short of a miracle would occur he'd call. The planets were aligned allowing Mike one of our favourite plumbers to complete a previous appointment that was proximal into our home to visit our rescue.
New sump pump in drain and place emptied we can get started with refurbishment of our cellar.
We are thrilled that we were able since LaMartina plumbing came through, to prevent damage. They're professionals beyond reproach. Our compliments for abilities and their professional expertise.
Worst customer service ever. The past three times I called with leaks that are actual they told me they could not envision someone to come out for a month and told me to call someone else. They do not unclog drains. What kind of plumber does not do this? I was practically a regular and have used their service several times, but they have been under-staffed or too occupied to out me. Their website shows an opening on April 24, two days from today, but said they don't even examine it and the website is erroneous. There's lots of plumbers on the market to look after our emergencies.
Absolutely fantastic customer service and specialist knowledge. I hope whatever these men will never use another plumber and say!
Consider it a newbie plumber shows up in a tiny Ford Ranger pickup. LaMartina shows up in a packed box truck. Old house? Don't care. Custom plumbing, no issue. These guys are experts.
Man was I lucky to find these guys, I wish I could give them 6 stars.
You end up saving money because there is with a funding builder a four hour job three hours using LaMartina. They have been used four times by me and I have always lived in homes that were elderly and they never disappoint. After when we moved I needed the work orders they had done at my home for a vendor. They emailed me in hours. They even do a fantastic job cleaning up must have mothers.
After shortly moving into our new house Tony LaMartina come in and substitute our first and second floor bath stack, in addition to replacement and transferring a water heater. We had roughly four bids and Tony LaMartina was middle of the road for pricing. What stood out was their professionalism and which makes us feel certain about the job. Plumbers had come in and made it seem like the job will be a pain. I really enjoyed who'd be coming, and that we got a text they were in their way. Yves was instantaneous and very friendly. With was very professional. I've already recommended them to friends.
I had excellent, knowledgeable service from Jim the plumber. Regrettably, what had been a good experience with this particular company when I tried to pay my invoice in two parts that were manageable turned sour. Matt was very unpleasant. This was insulting. The plumber told me he would not be collecting before the charge for the faucet I picked out myself might be set. Second, their invoice has a line indicating payments/credits. This could lead anybody to think a reasonable partial payment has been acceptable. Matt suggested that when I had been undergoing financial hardship. . .another insult!
Not the good old days with LaMartina Plumbing and certainly will not be using them. BtwI see from previous reviews that Matt feels the necessity to respond with justification to unhappy customers. That is fine, but not really in the soul of appropriate client support, which anybody in the company world understands.
We had an excellent experience with LaMartina Plumbing. They did good work and provide excellent customer services. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
I was in the market to replace my water heater, also called around for quotations to a number of pipes. They provided me a fantastic deal that beat out most of the contest, for a slightly bigger tank As soon as I called Tony LaMartina! Win/win in my book. I was able to get an appointment within 2 weeks (that was fantastic, I was in no hurry).
I recommend Tony LaMartina Plumbing for my friends and family.
On the afternoon of the appointment, I got a text that the tech Thom was on his way. He was amazingly friendly and polite. I appreciate the little things he did, such as putting on booties and cleaning up completely after completing. He took the time to allow me to affirm that I knew how the system functioned, and everything worked properly. I was impressed that the Matt LaMartina showed up part way through just to make sure things were going and I did not have any problems!
Wow, I can not say enough good things about the service I received from Tony LaMartina Plumbing! I am always nervous trying a new business when it comes to home repair type tasks, but this time I think I made a fantastic option.
Nothing but good things to say about our experiences. We predicted LaMartina after having a less-than-stellar experience with another plumber. We had toilet and one . On the toilet with all the bowl , they were able to save us money by simply replacing the bowl and then reusing the tank. They changed all the components in two out. Our bathrooms are working correctly. Very friendly and efficient. Fair pricing. Highly suggested!
Excellent competitively priced and work. The workers are professional and the work is top-notch!
I spoke to Tony and he believed a plumber could get into my house around 11-12, though they had been swamped. I was pleasantly surprised while the plumber, Jim, came at 10:00. He was professional and entered our house wearing booties. The water was back and it might require a second visit for a permanent fix to the stop waste valve. I was so glad our water was back on!
It was after hours and I left a message and filled out their online contact form that I wanted somebody at my house ASAP in the afternoon to get our water back on, after reviewing the site and reading reviews of Tony LaMartina on Yelp.
The appt was advised by me for the valve. I will call Tony LaMartina pipes for any plumbing requirements. I helped with the plumbing business of my dad during high school and college and I was quite impressed with the site and that customer satisfaction is important to them.
I had the water business out to test for a leak and they asked to be turned away from the interior. Throughout the process of turning off it the valve broke and then our house had no water. I called my father who's a plumber and also the problem appeared a little too complex for him and he gave a few names to me.
I have used them several times and have always been satisfied.
Always professional and reliable!
I simply used this company and they are highly recommended by me. Mike was the person who they sent to my house and he did a fantastic job fixing a toilet and three taps. He was very experienced and also the pricing was reasonable. I will use them in the future.
