Ihaven't regretted and've recommended warmth and Precision Air to friends, to you dear Yelp review reader, today I'm recommending them and I'm certain you also will have no regrets.
In 2015 I called about roughly a HVAC when the temp turned down. They showed up first thing the following morning, and identified that a bad compressor on a 15 year old unit... the setup estimator was out over a couple of hours quoted a brand new system and several desired fixes to my ducting with options for paying (fund or pay on card)... The new unit was set up two days afterwards and has been running beautifully every since.
I've been using Precision Air & Heating because somewhere for routine maintenance on my house HVAC units and have been completely satisfied each time.
In when the service arrived up, 2019 Paul came as normal, and made sure everything was functioning nicely and did a thorough inspection of this system. He discovered a couple of non-urgent things (indoor coil was dirty and capacitor were starting to neglect ) that he brought to my attention. I had Paul do the job because I'm all for preventative maintenance to extend the life of large dollar items and went.
In 2016 my hot water heater had been starting to act up and was 20 years old so I called Precision Air and Heat once again (at the time their pipes business was called"Pipe Tech Plumbing") and after assessing my ENTIRE PLUMBING SYSTEM made several recommendations (replace hot water heater, then eliminate busted non working water heaters with new (I did not even realize it had been busted), also replace front of the house water valve out of town water). After all was replaced and when the hot water heater began leaking after 3 years they came back outside and replaced it under warranty (just charging for labour ).
I saw them promoting their company on LIFE A TO Z for a special on an AC inspection. The technician said all was good and came and checked all. Wouldn't start when he went to turn the unit on it. Another technician had to emerge in the evening, on a Saturday night, and long story short said we needed a brand new unit and gave my husband a proposal together with NO SCHEDULED TIME! That night, they proceeded to bill our credit card. When my husband called the dispatcher to be sure we were not scheduled, she said we were not on the list for any service. Nevertheless, they charged us a fee on an appointment that was not produced or supported!! We predicted a different service and get this....WE DID NOT NEED A NEW UNIT, THE PRECISION TECH
MESSED UP ALL THAT WAS AND THE FUSE NEEDED WAS A BREAKER!!! It was a bit over $200!! In addition to the company we predicted said that our unit had a good 4 or 3 more years! PRECISION WANTED A COPY OF OUR SERVICE INVOICE FROM THE OTHER COMPANY TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE REPUTABLE!! to add insult to injury Seriously?
So in summary, PRECISION charged us $2,000 for negligence in their tech, on a part that cost just $200, and also our charging us a fee on parts! DO YOU SMELL SOMETHING WRONG HERE! That fee ought to be reversed as a result of THE FACT NO PARTS AND NO REPLACEMENT WAS NEEDED!! Our next step is going to the media for this. I've read media testimonials and this isn't the first time clients have been screwed by them. I have written a review . Updates are shown by this one.
People have come to the home. Professional and well versed - however, they are too costly. They are still substantially greater while they will adjust their costs slightly if you like them.
I was quoted a 3 ton 14 seer Goodman AC unit with 10 year warranty for $11,800 (they corrected down to $10,500 approximately.
Once more - I wanted to stay a Customer with Precision and I think they wanted to keep me but we were just too far apart on cost.
When I called Reliance Air I got a 3 ton 15 seer Trane AC unit using a 10'year justify for $6800 that included a surge protector to the unit.
Gina,No need to react further. I've referred this matter to the Arizona Attorney General, Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and Federal Trade Commission to sort out. I'll likely additionally be filing with the BBB. I am certain that they will jointly or individually do the ideal thing.
7/2/2019 - Called Precision and asked them to come look at it would taking 2hours to cool our home. I know we are living in a Phoenix and it is sexy, but our past 17 year-old unit cooled our home way quicker. Some guy comes around for a few hours, functions on some things and he's on his way. Everything's good to go.
6/21/2019 - Bought a brand new $10,000 AC device (our old one was on the fritz and we have a 4 month old so we thought it would be a Fantastic idea to replace it)
7/4/2019 - (3AM) AC goes outside. Scrambling to receive old and 2 dogs out of the home and to a buddies house. Remember it is the 4th of July which we planned on spending with family and friends. Precision is called by us and they said they would have someone come out.
Please read on for information!!
WARNING: Do NOT use this company. I beg you to look at choices.
7/4/2019 - (9AM) Another guy comes over around 9AM and states the circuit board is blown. Says it is a holiday so that they won't be able to receive the components until 7/5. The device started working again so we went home in where we stayed.
BOTTOM LINE: If you love your children, pets, sanity, and sleep... DO NOT by any means use this company!!!!
6/25/2019 - Brand new AC unit is installed. Out of our home for 9 hours this was expected. The contractors kept stating"1 more hour" for 3 hours in a row so that was bothersome. After that night we discovered this brand new $10,000 AC device wasn't heating our home nearly as quickly as our past 17 year-old unit.
Ok it took them NOON to acquire this piece of gear they had to"fix" our AC. The technician told me when he picked up the bit that the one in our unit was WAIT because we just purchased this unit less than 2 weeks past, how is that possible?!?!? And he then states"if it quits functioning , give us a call" WOW!!! That sure gives me a great deal of faith in this (maybe not ).
7/5/2019 (10:30PM) imagine what people! AC is outside again!!!! Yep, here we are and 2 dogs and our beautiful 4 month old infant are asleep Scrambling trying to figure out what to do and where to go! Telephone Precision (btw it says they are open 24 hours but really they just have an answering service and you're in the mercy of them calling you back). We're on the list although they called back and said there are a few additional service calls before ours. (that's great, it is only 80+ degrees in our home already, we'll just wait). I highly doubt and have ZERO faith in this business repairing our **BRAND NEW $10,000 AC UNIT**!!!
We scramble to receive old out of bed and to a family home. (of course She's an INFANT and was subsequently up the Vast Majority of the night when typically she sleeps throughout the night)
Suspicions Confirmed! Buyer Beware!
I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I would advise that you doso also.
After this follow up for my critique, I wouldn't let them down to even repair the damage!
Follow up reply from Contactor is a complete fabrication. Not only was the installation terrible and incomplete, apparently Dishonesty is Corporate Policy also.
As for working to repair damage done to my property, no one has contacted me, with any resolution or time frame.
Contractor has been reported to the Registrar of Contractors.
BUYER BEWARE!! If these"smart" salespeople come to a home to your *1 year check up* they may try exceptionally hard to"scare tactic" offer you an extended warranty... JUST SAY NO! It is a scam. . Their guarantee is just and crap significant profits in their greedy little hands. You can't cancel this warranty, nor can it be transferred by you if you sell your property. They don't tell you that as you purchase it naturally. . And it's a thousand bucks down the drain. All profit of course for them. They prey on the elderly with lies and fear. I can not stress enough... you're stuck if anything goes wrong after the sale together with these guys. They are more earnings & earnings. It is the biggest investment in your home... chose a greater firm. Precision Air is going to be.
This business will treat you way to make the SALE, but if you have any problems afterwards... good fortune. They are How can a business that professes INTEGRITY & PEOPLE BEFORE PROFITS behave? It is all advertising. I have been attempting to obtain a return telephone call for over a month. Trust me, they will do exactly what they have done . Ignore you in the hopes you just go away. Promise to phone... but not actually call! Disgusting. Take a moment and Google their name... they've hundreds of reviews that are negative. Their BBB score is paid for and a joke. They answer with"but we are number one" with anyone who wants to call them out... using their long winded answers that never ever take responsibility. They BLOCK individuals on Facebook so that they can not review you... they are definitely the most shameful & shady company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and shop around. Just because you see them on TV, it doesn't mean that they will treat you professionally. They spend their money .
STAY AWAY This organization is unprofessional, sent a tech that was on drugs, demanded payment for a work not done or the technician"was not leaving". I figured it would be handled by me with the office and made a decision to cover. I called the office and we came to a verbal agreement I would be getting a refund. 2 weeks go by and countless phone calls. I can not get a hold of anybody without a refund. I chose to also use this as an opportunity as how can I trust an organization that treats there customers like this. The operations manager John mentioned I could escape my plan but the price to escape the program is more than the plan. I will be following up with every other platform, the BBB, Arizona ROC, and also my banks that I can consider.
I scheduled a service call for Ken (sole reason I give two stars) came out to examine our unit. He was very informative and recognized video of the unit that the issue we had been having is using the compressor. It totally died and a new unit is needed by us. Ken stated that the next step is to schedule a visit with a sales supervisor (Mike, Don or Chad) who will come to inspect the attic, duct work, return, etc.. Ken called the office and advised the call for today from 2-7 pm. 6 pm arrives without a telephone call from the office or the tech. I have no messages and no missed calls and have been by my phone all day. She stated that we are scheduled but since we didnt answer the phone. She promised me that we had been another call in line. I called again at 7:01 pm and spoke with Kirby. Kirby informed me that he found that they left a vm and that I did get a call earlier in the afternoon. After explaining that I hadn't got a phone call I had been put on repeated holds that Kirby could determine the situation. He apologized that he only now got up to speed on the situation and that he didn't have notes. After my complaint that I've been waiting at home all day, Kirby stated he understood and that he is currently doing everything in his power. After stating that had lied that I received 2 phone calls, I had been put on a different grip. He returned and stated that 3 individuals actually tried to telephone me. I asked for their names and was once again put on a different grip. Me reassured that I'm next on the record and that the tech is in Glendale and would be leaving within the hour when he returned. I stated that from the time the tech gets here it will be about 9 pm. Kirby stated he didn't know how much time it would take and can't predict traffic when the tech will be departing. I asked to the titles of those men and women who he stated that called and he said he was not allowed to give their names. I asked which law that was he said he didn't understand. I inquired if he can give me the occasions that they called and he said 6:31 and 12:10, 6:12 pm. I never got a missed call alert nor a voicemail to the first two times and that I have the cell phone call log to prove it. The last time was really when I called Precision. I requested to speak to a supervisor and after a long hold, was advised that there are only 2 people working right now and a supervisor isnt accessible. Kirby stated he had been escalating this to some concern call in which a supervisor would call me back first thing in the afternoon. I inquired for the mgr's title and he said Vincent. He asked if I wanted to maintain the tonight or if I wanted to reschedule for tomorrow. I asked for the title. Kirby readily and quickly gave me the title of Chad. Ken advised me that there is not any fee for the visit when discussing the supervisor's visit today. I asked Kirby again, and when there is a fee for the visit, after another grip, he returned to say there was no cost for the visit. If Kirby will call me to tell me when the tech is on the way, I inquired and he said it will be someone else or him, to which I added that it would be the other worker that's presently at work with him. Meanwhile, I got a telephone by an unknown caller at 7:53 pm. Turns out it was IS a supervisor but is NOT on premises. How easy. Vincent was calling to tell me that Chad the technician was on his way. If Vincent is the supervisor, I inquired and he said yes. Tomorrow I shared to rescue him a call , I have had a experience with Precision far. He inquired what made it less than excellent and that I shared that I was lied to and got the run around from Kirby. Vincent apologized that he was a new employee and that they have been the # 1 AC company in Phx for 7 decades and wants to lose my company. He asked if we could have the tech come out to our home today. I thanked Vincent because of his apology, after putting him on a grip but I will go with a company to replace the unit. He was again sorry to lose my company but that if there was anything that they could do in order to tell them. I also shared that I'd be telling the friend who recommended them to me about my expertise that she's a fuller picture of the company she purchased from. Also I am on the phone with Kirby I received two text messages stating that they had tried to reach me that they had confirmation to allow the tech. I think they were hoping to cover their own tracks to make it look like they had called me earlier.
To me it's important when people assess Yelp to not only read about how service or a company plays a job reviews but they handle their clients before, during and after the sale. Along with the worst of the worst is.
This company was referred to me as an"elite" installer for Nest thermostats. I had been considering a Nest smart thermostat to substitute my old fashioned simplistic on/off unit that had capacity or zero programming functions to socialize with Alexa along with the other products already in my Nest home ecosystem. Nest products are very costly but potentially worth it in energy savings if you do not know.
I'd already spent a discouraging half hour with a Nest offshore call centre customer service representative, and I use that word"customer service" loosely, to receive a compatibility report on wiring my system to their product, something they advertise as being so simple even a (whatever) can take action. It's supposed to be a job. The web consequence of my chat with them is they did not know how and told me I had to pay a professional installer just to visit my home to take a look at exactly the very same cables I already looked at and tell me when a Nest thermostat would get the job done. I fail to see the logic a straightforward five-minute job could need an"elite" installer I had to pay before I knew if a device would operate on my system.
I was put in touch at their North American business headquarters, with a real employee, a senior technical engineer. He asked me a few questions, and I sent him a few images of my system, and he'd instant answers - without having me pay to an"elite" installer. Their thermostat is equal to the Nest product and is a installation involving me connecting 5 wires to the springs that are colored and tightening the screws. They ought to discover how from ecobee and not farm out their service to sub-contractors if Nest wants to be in this business.
However, I intended to call an HVAC firm to give my method a preseason checkup. Should you reside year-around at Arizona you know that summer temperatures can reach 120 degrees along with your AC can operate 24/7 and the last thing you want is for it to conk out on the hottest day of this year so paying somebody to do a preseason checkup is always a fantastic investment. Another firm had already quoted me $38 for a full tune-up however they weren't Nest certified to advise on buying the thermostat so I did call Precision Air to set up two solutions - one to advise on the Nest product and to do a full pre-season tune-up.
Guess what? You probably already figured this because you noticed a 0-star inspection was earned by them, however, the main reason behind that is that I was dismissed by Precision Air. That is right, though they were known as allegedly my"best" choice by one of the elite providers they could not be bothered to take some opportunity to phone me back to arrange an appointment.
The unit is looked at by the technician along with I had Precision Air come out for an AC issue and tells me everything is fine with the device as the day is currently going on, even though my home is getting hotter inside. Come to find out from another company that my furnace has been set wrong. Top it off following their technician goes in the attic I have a drain leak but they claim it was not their fault. Now I have drywall damage and added some other corporation and cost. If you'd like this phone Precision!
I have been a client with a maintenance plan for nearly 20 years. I recently had an air conditioner and I have gained confidence in them. I had a very good setup by his spouse along with David. The sale and maintenance visits were good. I recommend Precision because I think they understand the value of great service and honesty.
I had Precision Air support my unit. At that time they replaced three components and sold me a service plan. I was very very disappointed with my spring service. The technician head to tell my husband that my device was not functioning, tinkered a bit, and opened the device and wanted to sell him two components for over $200 bucks. The conversation led to using a sales agent price out a new device and come over. Meanwhile the unit shut up and abandoned, leaving my device at a order. Mind you prior to him messing with all the switches that the a/c had been cooling and working my residence.
Following my husband was left by the technician known as an out of state friend in the a/c business. They worked out that the technician turned off switches in the device to attempt to deceive my husband that it didn't work. That the a/c has continued to work without the assistance of Precision Air, since reconnecting the relations. I didn't obtain an honest nor valuable care worth the worth of cash I spent a"service plan." I am disappointed that this business left my house not in originally state they found it. I am not going to be a returning client nor do I recommend their service.
Precision was called by us after we watched the proprietor Eric on TV he was having. Leslie (the technician) came out and was wonderful. She's been with the business about 10 years and was quite knowledgable and thorough. She was very polite and answered all of our questions and a pleasure to work with.
Disappointed with my 3 ton unit, makes a loud noise at start-up which may be heard in my home's interior and exterior. Was told by my technician (Ken B.) that I needed to live with this? Really, have Difficulty adjusting to the sound every time it starts up...I had two components installed a
3 ton and 5 ton, the 5 ton unit stopped functioning on Saturday, May 11, 2019 that they were installed on April 2, 2019. Disappointed with my earnings rep. who also mentioned I'd obtain a SRP rebate in three to four week following installation of the two components, gave him my SRP lien form & completed March 31, 2019 and have yet to receive my check/rebate from SRP. Precision was to take care of all the paperwork. (rebates and guarantee )
The person who did the survey was wonderful and very educated.
He brought up a few idea's for price and energy savings which will be valuable to us in the future.
The appointment was put up, and also the company communicated through the appointment.
I would recommend the agent they supplied; and this company.
FIVE STARS for the review is Richie their Tech ZERO STARS for the business as a whole.... Greed not integrity is the moto that is authentic
.
Super job and also a individual
Never again. AC went out at around 6pm so I phoned Precision because their site said they provide 24 hour service right at the top on their main webpage. I was told someone would be paged and contact me. I waited until they were then called by 2am and their service tells me they're gone for the night they simply work until Midnight. I pretty much got nothing from them and whined. And their site says 24 hours.
Very DISHONEST Firm! OUTRAGEOUS rates! Contacted Precision Air for instant opinion. Just had my coils cleaned a week by a different corporation. The business that assessed the run capacitor, arrived a week prior and said it had been fine. Precision said it was awful and would cost $325. It's possible to find that done for significantly less from any corporation. I had the capacitor checked by a firm that is 3rd after Precision air just to make sure it hadn't gone bad in a week along with the capacitor quantified fine. Precision wanted to charge $358.42 to put in a 5-2-1 start kit. It makes it easier for the compressor. It takes 5 minutes to put in and the component is $30 online for a 3 ton unit. Precision recommended cleaning the vents. 10 vents $500! And, they place it on the invoice twice, hoping I wouldn't notice or perhaps an error. $1,000 to clean vents! Maybe a commission is made by the techs, but they try to up sell you services which aren't necessary or not faulty. What is most annoying is the owner mentions the integrity and trustworthiness of the business in the TV advertisement. All the negative reviews of Precision Air ought to be sufficient caution, although there are may great A/C companies out there!
1. You did not inform that the seal could fix the issue but advised me that it would fix the issue and I wouldn't have the issue.
2. I think I screwed up and did not read the fine print that you are not accountable for any installation difficulties or damages.
Gina B replied that"that you are liable for any roofing issues/defects after installation of this new system as the sizing of this new system could be different from your old system. We promptly responded to a call regarding your escape and sealed around the system for customer satisfaction. You are correct that again we advised you that the issue may not be corrected by the seal and there was also a roofer required. You will continue to get this problem".
