APLUS Plumbing

This is actually the second time. Miguel and juan once again solved our problem with ease and efficacy. Once I got home at 4:07 p for my 4p-6 appointment window, I was pleased to see them waiting for me.
This time around we had kitchen faucet and a low pressure shower head, and wanted our garbage disposal changed. They made recommendations, immediately identified the topics, and finished their occupation with professionalism. I will use them again!

In conclusion, I gave a two start evaluation based on their labor cost, not breaking out labor & material costs, and installing a inexpensive garbage disposal to Aplus. The service was quick but this was not a crisis situation.
Labour price example. So lets say the Garbage disposal price $92 retail. $375 total price minus $92 for its purchase equals $283 Labor. Labor took 30 minutes about $566/hour for labor. I use another plumber for projects but he doesn't come out to the Hayward area. However, when I do use this fully and licensed bonded experence, $120/hr labor plus materials charges. He'll be added by me charges 1 hour minimum. Using 1 hour minimum labor, $283/hr was charged by APlus!
- Wasn't granted an option. APlus set up an Insinkerator Badger 5 is turned out by it. The Home Depot online description for this unit states,"... option when affordability is the primer concern". Or, it.
- Same day appointment during regular business hours. Later I predicted aPlus came at about 2-1/2 hours or ~ 1:00 PM. Great!
I had been away on my renter and holiday texted me. It was 3:00 AM my regional time but 10:00 AM Hayward time.
- APlus substituted the garbage disposal at 30 min. Great!

- Materials and Labor costs not broken-out. The receipt given to my renter totaled $375 and said,"substituted garbage disposal in the kitchen sink total price components labor." The disposal price and labor and any materials was not broken out by the receipt. Not good. Parts and Labour costs must always be broken-out. My bad for not asking front up.

My five stars for their great job! This time they shifted the pipe and as good as last time, about two decades back. Thanks

How can you not give 5 stars to a plumber that does bill you, and is willing to listen to all your worries and debunk them that you feel comfortable living around your pipes ! No charge and bedside manner, he gave me a more logical reason for all and looked at my worries that I had been experiencing. When something comes up I will be calling again! Thank you Juan

Working with Juan and Miguel was a Wonderful experience. I had a water heater that is busted and it leaked. They came out were right and could substitute it for me daily. They gave a very reasonable price to me. They were honest about all my options, and were courteous, professional, and helpful. I'd work with them in a moment.

Cons: What was not wonderful. I showed them all the piping and they asked a few questions I couldn't reply. They then quoted me a massive estimate of $200+ to start a"camera" down the pipes since I dont understand where the line is, and fixes can cost you $1400-$1600. No way...

"we dont understand where the matter is and when the issue means we will need to dig up dirt or concrete, it might cost you more..." so on and so forth.
She clarified the situation a lot better but unfortunately I went with a different company to solve my issue.
If you're like me, I look at their evaluations (do right?) . They must be amazing with more than 300 + testimonials being 5 stars! Sorry to say that's wrong.
Long story short, I want to thank Jen for reaching out and explaining to me the situation.
Ensure you scroll through the listing on yelp. I don't understand why their company is listed #1 on the list, alphabetical that are most likely.

Pros: I predicted right after finding this matter out. They sent someone out in a 2 hour window from 4-6 (I predicted around 330pm). They arrived at 4. That was nice.
Jen? From customer service achieved to me seeing my experience and she explained to me what happened and was wondering whether it was a language barrier between I. and the plumber
My story: I did laundry and arrived home after work. I noticed the water. What? So I checked the water from the restroom the tub was also overflowed by it and when I flushed. A plumber said it's the line. Great...
But hey, they arrived early...

Our new location was needing a new water heater we had a difficulty and needed bathrooms to be secure. Juan gave an affordable estimate and came out and was very frank about everything. On the day of installation he got right to work and was on time. Very thorough and cleaned up afterwards. We'd highly recommend Juan and will call to ask Juan if need be for almost any plumbing issues.

He had been advised to arrive between the hours of 10-12 and that he had been here by 10:03. Speedy & comprehensive - he replaced our faucet faucet, & then proceeded under the house to see since we also had an problem using our bathroom sink whether our pipes were undamaged. He discovered they were, so that he jumped to snake the sink. Upon further investigation,he discovered & retrieved approximately 5 inches of a snake. Apparently the plastic snake obstructed the drain and awakened at the drain. After all was removed, the faucet was good as new! AND the entire price was very reasonable that was a relief. I'm kind of speechless. Miguel and juan showed up as advertised, listened to some scenario and figured out WHY it leaked all over the ground. It turned out to be a fix - they figured out. I actually sat in the tub - embarrassed I couldn't figure it out . THEN they told ME how to fix it. NO CHARGE.
SO...I will put these men in my phone for the next time. And you should too. Guys, thanks. I enjoyed your time and energy. While I trust I don't require a plumber - should I do, I am calling you!
The"free quote" thing was real. They're kind, professional, useful, and. . .they really didn't charge me since it was such an easy fix.

This is the second time. I love how proactive they were when they then checked my bathroom and arrive to help me with something and found out it leaked, for a little while. They helped me prevent a bigger problem down the road. THANK YOU! I looking from me and recommend their honesty.

I managed to get my drain replaced at a reasonable price. I appreciate the flexibility in scheduling and the friendliness . I do business together again

We've called APlus several times over the years and to get a drain that was clogged. We finally had them replace the drain, and he managed to show me images of where the cast iron pipe had obstructions from excessive solder that had splashed into the pipe through the first installation decades.
Juan charged a reasonable price, and has always been useful, effective. He's our go-to guy for any plumbing issue.

Had an issue that caused an extensive quantity of flood from our washer and bathrooms I called and they sent over Juan. Juan got at work and was quick to spot the issue. As he was working, Juan was quite informative and could clarify what he was doing to repair the issue. Within one hour that the issue was resolved and it was as if nothing ever happened. The price was cheap too. Thank you Juan to your service!!

We phoned APLUS to have a look in a major plumbing problem in our San Leandro house. Juan & Miguel came in to check in our clogged master bedroom, providing a very fair price for a significant piping replacement to us which the price has been quoted for by other plumbers.
They were incredibly honest & professional throughout. I highly recommend these guys, if you are looking for pipes!
They did a solid to for performing the job in the following moment. They were efficient, did an wonderful job cleaning up after themselves and hauling out all of the iron pipes together.

Reliable responsive friendly and plumber. I had them come my home from twice- once for a leaky toilet and because my disposal was clogged. Juan did a fantastic job and was very transparent and beneficial. Would definitely recommend them again!
UPDATE: I have called over them for a couple problems at my home and have found their quotes to be extremely over the top expensive. FYI, look around for other areas. I've found jobs for 50% less than what they've quoted us.

For providing excellent service in a timely 15, I would like to thank Miguel and Juan. They are two educated professionals who understand how to work in the plumbing industry.
These two guys would be used by me without hesitation.
I phoned APlus Plumbing and they were able to react within two hours to my home. Miguel and juan came and quickly fixed a wall pipe which had been annoying me for ages. They make a wonderful team and they work. I had been so impressed with there work I requested them to fix a valve problem I was experiencing in another room. Upon inspection, Juan plugged pipes up and they were replaced within seconds.

I called for difficulties with my own sink. They explained that I had to call the HOA and that they didn't do condos and came to my house. Because I am accountable for the interior of my condominium that is not true. Also I gave them my apt. When I gave them the address #. They understood that it was apt. / condominium? What a waste of my time!

Juan mended our clogged drain and came out. Professional, clean and quick. We will call again in the future.

Juan supplied a quotation for a repipe vs just a fix to me and showed up.
They ran into a few problems, but they couldn't work around. After the drywall repairs were created At the end my house remained relatively pristine.
I had a hot water line flow below my house's foundation. It might be no small task to fix either. A plumber would have to ruin my bathrooms to correct the pipes or do a complete pipe of my house .
I highly recommend this company and they'll be my go to technicians for almost any additional plumbing needs. They have been guys that are timely, professional and complete.
James scheduled the job at a reasonable price and to be done the next week advising me it'd take 2 days.

I convinced my insurer the repipe was the way to go and I was given the green light by them.
This was about Christmas time, mid December and it was horribly tough to get anyone to answer their phone let alone show up for an estimate. However James put up an appointment and answered. Thus far so great!

Professional, fast and the value is worth the cash spent considering the timeframe. Next time the old galvanized kitchen and laundry lines (an old home that already wants a whole lot of maintenance and repair. I'm a happy baby.
They visit your door instantly when you need them. Christmas crunch and I'm supposed to be doing cooking for family from all over the world, our conventional noche Buena (Christmas Eve party ) to learn my kitchen sink wouldn't drain as well as my laundry room (flooded the evening before) I give them a telephone 8am sharp as advertised on their internet plus they send Juan and Miguel. As promised they are at my doorsteps before 9am and job done shortly after. The identical pair were the ones who did my primary sewer line 4 years ago that Juan stated will last for a long time (I did a different review on this particular job).
