Water Heaters Only

With what I believed was a escape I called on a Sunday night. They could send someone out the following day and replace the entire thing (it had been over 20 years old!) And also make sure everything was up to code. The serviceperson, Mack, was excellent specialist, and he explained what along the way, from before beginning the work to making sure I understood what had been done after he finished the job, and also maintenance. The individual I spoke with on the phone Sunday night was also very considerate and helpful, and the staff checked in with timing of arrival and staffing. In general, I am quite happy with how everything turned out, and also feel assured that I don't have to think again.

Steve came out for the estimate and had suggestions to help keep down the price. I decided to go with WHO and was impressed. Alex who came out to perform the setup work on 3/25/19 did a fresh setup of the tank water heater, and was friendly, professional. The price was fair and I'd use them again.

Someone from the company called to say there was a misunderstanding and our price should have been $159 rather than $459- may have been my negative review, can not say. We'll wait to find out whether the payoff came though, my experience with them so much keeps me skeptical. But I am happy they tried to make it appropriate.

Can give 0 stars if possible. I told the rep that my pilot light does not stay on when I let go of the knob and look at the heater and I'd like to come out. The rep asked me for the serial number of the heater and then told me that it's an 18 year-old heater and 15 years past due since the warranty on it is only 3 years... he told me that they need to replace the heater! Really? That is exactly what you tell me The heater itself works good! It's most likely the thermal coupler that has to be replaced. Plus, what do you mean ago 10, 15 years? Who really changes their water heater each 3 years? They did not care to do anything however upsell me! Do not believe a word they say!

We had a water heater that was , also had turned into a bid for $ but decided to get another view. Steve from Water Heater came out and have a glance at our 10 year-old heater, then gave us a bid to replace it. He chose to examine it and noticed that we could get away with simply replacing a valve to buy us a couple more years. I truly love his honesty, and coping with him was a superb experience - he had been prompt, knowledgeable, and professional, plus he was nice!
Overall, a great experience. I recommend this business!

We were so impressed by support and their patience! PG&E switched our gas off by error and among our gas appliances (the hot water heater) would not relight. Fortunatelywe had been going out of town for a couple of days and Water Heaters Only worked us so that they could service us. John came in the time and fixed it so that we now have hot water again. Hooray!

It was likely to take 6 days for PG & E to come and say if it was just the pilot light. In the meantime, we called Water Heater's Only. The scheduling staff was very helpful, and Steve came out. He climbed our huge hill, lit the pilot light and didn't put any pressure on us to obtain a new water heater. He gave us estimates for replacing the old model tank or going tankless. Going tankless was far more costly and would need redoing the gas line, so we got a replacement tank (that our was'18 years old). We got an installation appointment immediately. Alex and steve lugged the new tank up our steep mountain, then moved the machine to install this, and did it. It wasn't cheap, but it was great value, given our location and the effort needed to do the job. The entire performance was well-implemented and competent.

We were left with a leaky Water Heater after another water heater man (commercial special) came to take a look at our water heater and then broke a knob! :-o
These guys although not in the Marin Area were after ALL my calls for many referrals that were different and straight shooters, I decided to wait around to come back and do it. I trusted my fellow yelpers but was not getting the same positive comments from the suggested companies while I was in the hell of washing dishes with ONLY COLD water....One famous name was supposed to come the day before these guys and since I predicted with a follow up call"about a rough quote"~they believed it meant I was cancelling my appointment. Dude! Our time is valuable and for me to wait for they no display!! and a business all day That's BAD. These guys came, for having been in morning traffic, although the man was a bit grumpy. Price and their term to appear was Sterling! I've done the work for you! If you realize you need a new Water Heater~Only call these guys!!

My 13 year old water heater died on a Sunday and I called Water Heaters Only because they had great reviews on Yelp. Bill and I talked and he was able to book me an appointment to have a new water heater installed for the day. Steve came out and did the installation. He was very professional and had everything installed and functioning in about 90 minutes.

Above and beyond the call of duty, Dan from Water Heaters Only was professional and dedicated to his elimination of our old hot water heater and installation of their new one. He worked nonstop for 11.5 hours direct. Quite unbelievable! And despite the struggles with the process, which included the fact that the pipes were coated in asbestos, his spirits remained optimistic. I wouldn't hesitate to refer Dan and Water Heaters Only to some friends or coworkers!

I woke up to a Sunday with no hot water, throwing me as there are 3 adults in the household and it was chilly with no shower that was cold and we did not want to do this more than once! Seeking YELP for local plumbers was overwhelming and I wasn't sure who to phone. I chose to look at my water heater to find info I would like to relay to whoever I ended up phoning and that I found an installation guide stuck into the side, with a receipt showing it had been installed by Water Heaters Only about 14 decades back, so I chose to call them first. Beni came over the next morning, determined my tank had replacing and I was up and running! This time let us hope it lasts as long as the previous one although my water heater was a Rheem.

We discovered no hot water at the house and detected a leak at the base of our water heater. We called WHO PM that night the next day and they came out. They called and said they'd be here between 12-1 and came at 12:03. Chris stated we were fortunate it didn't burst on us and scrutinized the water heater. He also showed my wife that the top was concaved and how bad it was - one of the worst he'd seen - Yikes!

We contemplated a tank but he told us the pros and cons even though it would have cost more and we decided on going with the tank. I was amazed because he could have easily recommended the tank that was expensive that there was no upsell.
So we went from a position with a non-working water heater to an professionally water heater as a result of WHO and Chris.

At noon I called to schedule the appointment, I was told by them they might be there at 3:00 and it would be about a three hour job. The tech, Chris, explained, did the work and was extremely friendly, professional and was a few minutes early. He took away everything with him and left the garage clean and nice. I would strongly suggest this place to anyone desiring their furnace replaced.
After having Affordable Water Heaters come out and give us a quote for our water heater see whether the price was honest and we chose to call a few places. After phoning 4 distinct places, I found Rick to be very informative over the phone and their estimate came in nearly $500 less than"Affordable".

The tech at the time did a great job so we naturally decided to use WHO when our present water heater began leaking. We called thinking we'd find an estimate need to schedule the true replacement for a different day. Toa, the WHO tech, set up new water heater and came! We could not have been more pleased. Paul on the phone had me check with Home Depot since the water heater was under guarantee, however a parts-only guarantee. At the house, Beni decided we required a new pilot lighting kit ($45.00 parts). The service telephone to come out is $165.00 plus I guess another $84.00 in labor to set up. Total costs is $294.00 and Beni was on the premises for 42 minutes. I needed I didn't wish to try it and it done. Just recognize you will pay about $250 in labour and drive time to put in. In my novel, that's fair.

I particularly wish to thank Paul who answered the telephone and dealt with me freaking out as my 35 year-old water heater was about to blow up and he gave me a fair, reasonable price on a new water heater despite my lack of leverage to negotiate -- he thoroughly walked through my options. I verified that the price was honest with my long-time plumber that happened to be away on holiday -- and my long-time plumber explained that Paul gave me a price on the water heater.
And there was the amazing plumber ever that showed up at my door 2 hours after -- Kevin West. He is calm under pressure -- he copes with you while you are freaking out as your chamber could be dealt with in water at any moment -- he superbly welds and drills it all together and takes pride in his work -- he even taught me how to turn the water off should there ever be an issue . On top of that, he's got an awesome sense of humor!

I asked an estimate for the house for a water heater. They gave me a consultation with a 3 hour window. The tech Toa notified me and called. I'm impressed. Toa evaluated the situation at my house. He was open to hearing my thoughts about the heater, and he was patient when describing the choices that are best. He wasn't just there trying to sell their service to , but to be certain I get the efficient work and have choices to select from. I highly suggest Toa whenever you are installing your first tankles water heater.

You saved the day! After calling about, and leaving messages, attempting to have someone to take care of my water heater that was leaking, I called Water Heaters Only!! They could come out! Wow!!!! Not only were they friendly and professional, but the price for my water heater was less costly than what others had lent me. Despite showing up late and with out all of the appropriate parts, John A came through in the long run. He explained everything to me about my set up today verse what he had been installing. Also explained what I needed to do to keep the heater going ahead. Everything is left up to code.
