We had two leaks in our home - six months. On the two instances, Evans Leak Detection assessed the issue, came out, and also fixed the problems fast with minimum invasive work. When I called the company, the owner made a fantastic effort to accommodate my schedule, and answered the telephone with good professionalism and concern. Fix and the experts showed up on time to estimate the problems and they were effective, polite, and very professional. I will definitely use this company again in the future if any problems with my pipes arise.
They have been great - very professional and communicative. I like the peace of mind of a flat rate instead of wondering what the cost will be when the job is finished. Luckily our job was not too extensive. I would definitely use them again but I won't need to.

Recommended by our plumber. Found the flow in 10 minutes. Opened drywall and"sleeved" the leaking pipe. Done !!

As a contractor, my firm has used Evans on many occasions. We are delighted with their performance.
Pat and this company really disappointed me. My occupation was scheduled to get a Sat. Day (9-10) but Pat called at 9:55 and told me the worker who should happen to be in my home had returned to the work site from the preceding night and rescheduling was needed. (I should have been known as the evening before with this information.) After taking the newly-scheduled Mon. off of work (Omar was supposed to come between 1-2), I called Pat in 1:50 because Omar had not arrived. Pat seemed"surprised" Omar wasn't in my residence and said he would call to test. Pat never known again. Fortunately I was able to get a dependable leak detection company to come out to my property before the close of the day that I did not use vacation hours. Very unprofessional to individuals in conditions that need immediate attention. I don't recommend this company.
Very prompt service that is friendly. Unfortunately, dismayed in the bate and switch. Was explained the pricing and knew the pricing was $350 for leak detection and $ 1,150 for slab leak needing cutting to walls and slab.
Therefore there is a slab leak fix $ 1,150. Not sure 350 is mentioned since they did not observe a leaking faucet unless someone calls.
$1,150 seem like a fantastic bargain, until you find out that they do a tube bypass, not copper piping, that does not require cutting to the slab. Less invasive as clipping to the slab, but sounds pricey for how the fix is completed - and I didn't hear about any warranty.
I was so scared when I saw the flow. I called Evans in the morning and talked to Patrick. He calmed me down and explained everything. Someone was out to my house that afternoon and it was fixed almost immediately. A neighbor delivered another company over, they stated my driveway would need to dug up and their quote was exorbitant. Thus, it was far less expensive. I feel I received a very fair price. The guys at my house abandoned the area blank and were professional. Evans Leak Detection came very highly recommended to me, therefore I want to split the recommendation.
Paid $450 for Evans to ascertain slab leak. 2 guys came out and spent 2.5 hrs and charged $1745 (never in my entire life paid any plumber over $800/hr). One man broke the latch and tried opening my door. He confronted him and he denied it but they agreed to repair it. Evans left 5 holes in my walls and dirt. An outdoor faucet which I did not wish to proceed was moved by them but they told me if it did not move, it would no longer function. I found after they left. I asked Manny return to repair the problem. I had a competent plumber re-pipe my house and he had to replace the products employed by Evans. Worst experience ever with a plumber and outrageous prices.
I've understood Joy and Lloyd for many years. I know Lloyd sold his time worker Patrick the company. I've not ever had a slab escape until recently I noticed I used three times the normal water use. I had no water damage that is visible and had two additional leak detection companies try to find the escape. 1 flat cost which didn't change when they came outside and wall that is nominal damage in which they needed to open up and mend water . I highly recommend Evans Leak Detection.

The proprietor, Pat, sounded very friendly and nice and the price appears to be reasonable. But, his favorable scheme would be to talk you in using cheap material like Pex vs. copper and get your $1000+ with minimal work done. On top of it, I needed to find a different plumber to repair the leak he overlooked. Please learn from my experience and find another person to look after your plumbing issues.
