We needed to correct a light fixture and the job was required to be accomplished by a certified electrician. After requesting quotes from various firms we chose Yevgeny and scheduled a trip (the cost he offered was fair ).
Overall the service has been professional and prompt.
His services were professional, he mended that electric fixture and even asked if we needed something else. For quite a while our washing machine was not working properly, it cleaned dishes, therefore we used it, but water was spilling partly around the sink. He looked at it identified a clog, repaired it and it works as anticipated.

Had a few issues 1. That would not drain and 2 sinks. A leak in the ceiling. Yevgeny came out on a Sunday to take a look at both. He gave excellent advice on the ceiling escape to me and pointed out it's a roof leak and prevented us from performing a great deal of expensive work. The sink went over and beyond to not only unclog but replace with flowing pipes. What I loved was how detail oriented Yevgeny how everything was clarified by him, made sure we were satisfied and was and treated the job because he worked in his home. Respectful of this distance and doing a fantastic job even if you didn't observe the work. He was very fair in pricing. I will be using General sf again - highly recommend them!

I called Yevgeny seeking to have some electric work done. Unfortunately, due to the electric panel (Federal Pacific panel recognized to be faulty and advocated to be substituted by electricians) now set up on the house, the job turned out costing over I had intended for. Rather than try and convince me to move using the expensive job, Yevgeny guided me to wait until I needed some significant work done at the house before opting as it made sense from a financial 45, to replace the electric panel. In addition, he suggested a few other options in the meantime. I really enjoyed the fact he took the time to describe me everything although he knew he wasn't likely to obtain any company out of my motive for calling and was being genuinely helpful.

I will call Yevgeny again for almost any issues or plumbing matters my old needs fixing.

Once on a time, there was a delivery truck on its way to 7/11 (#7ElevenDay). The truck was so tall that it clipped all wires. The pipe dropped. The wires snapped, leaving us in the dark. It was a mess. PG&E replaced and cut the power line linking to the house by 8:00 PM. We needed to get an electrician to reconnect our house to the grid. It was PM and it was more like Mission Impossible. We managed to contact him and found Yevgeny on Yelp. He arrived 20 minutes later. It was almost 9:00 PM. He was very friendly, very responsive and very educated. The damage was assessed by him and gave the bad news to us. Our wires have been damaged and needed to be replaced. He confirmed what we understood. Our fuse box was too little for our house. We chose to replace it and upgrade wires and our box. He arrived the next morning @9:30 AM to inspect what he couldn't see last night. From the day teams began to work on the house. We have power. He performed an excellent job and all electronic and electric consumed power happily ever after.

Ugh, had high hopes from all these 5 star reviews. Called with two or three issues we've been having. The phone was answered by yevgeny, took my advice, had me text him pics, told me that he was super busy and he'd be back in a week.
Never heard back from him.

Responsive over phone and text. The following day came and gave me a quote immediately. Hired for work but he managed to fix that and noticed a storm drain problem too. He made sure everything was done safely and correctly and did high quality work.

I had a drainpipe that has been badly rusted right where it links to the concrete. The plumber said he could cut it off right and install a plastic sleeve. Second plumber said that was a bad idea, and would have to dig into the concrete, and did not wish to try to bidding it because he did not know how far he'd have to dig. Yevgeny wanted to resolve a lot of problems , and wanted to dig. He ended up needing to dig quite a bit of concrete until he got to pipe, and gave a quote only a little more expensive than the guy. He got the job, though it was a little more work than anticipated. If you want the task done * right *, to get a price that is reasonable, Yevgeny is the guy.
