In the end, we had (20) beautiful recessed LED lights installed at the underside ceiling of the 2nd floor above our garage/basement. They're Wonderful! The team could not have done a better job... we're blown away with the finished product here. Will be coming back to Chris & Choice Electric for electrical work and future light . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Choice Electric made it down to the 2 due to their competitive pricing, after getting quotes from 7 + different firms. In the end, we went with Choice Electric due to their outstanding rating/record/reviews, photos of the finished work, Chris' professionalism.
We've got an 800 that had to find proper lighting installed for a type of use. Approximately 4 firms were contacted by us via Yelp, and a few more via website/email after deciding on recessed LED lights. Chris was the 1st in one hour! We scheduled him to return to the site a few days later. The promptness of the service was rather impressive. During the site visit, although Also he had been informative and extremely useful. I learned A LOT, and it was all for free!
Initially I was wary of the"you picked" your lights option... but after doing a great deal of study, I realized that using the huge variety of lights on the market (manufacturer, quality, color-temp, lumiens, dimmability,"smart" functions, etc), it actually became quite apparent that giving us the capability to pick what lighting we wanted was actually the BEST option. Many of the firms didn't have this type of flexibility - they'd say they have 2 kinds, and you have to select 1 of those 2, no options. Not cool...

Short Story: Excellent customer service!Verdict: I would choose them again.

Long Story: I had a problem with the lighting for my house and I called Choice Electric. The folks were very professional to setup the time and appointment over Yelp. They came out was able to quickly diagnose my dilemma and repair it and as promised. The rate was 90 per hour (one hour minimum) and materials.

Called around 7pm. They wanted to charge $300 to come out & another $300 to repair. I'm likely to pass & call around. Sounds overpriced to me.

I contacted many electricians to get some work done on our house. Lighting fixtures were had by us out in, recessed lighting, and all our outlets and light switches changed out to the designer outlets. Chris chose to come give a proposal to me and reached out to me immediately. One of the Choice Electric electricians, nick, came and wrote notes while I explained what had to be done. Then I had a suggestion which I felt was fair. So we scheduled times for them to come another date for the rest of the job and the recessed light do. We do the job, on our home that Choice was performing had to be performed on two distinct dates. The work was done to our satisfaction. And we were delighted with the final results. Can recommend this company to anybody searching for electric work.

In July I Requested Choice Electric for a Main Panel Upgrade and kitchen estimate.PG&E, City of San Jose and the. Firm I utilized and I agreed.
Just like Albert from David Electric, he said I had to trench to get a 200 Glass Panel ( $10k-$15k )or convert Dryer and Stove into Gas.
As with David Electric, '' I explained I need a larger panel with circuits not additional electricity - Im not using power. He called the owner and said the owner would call me the next day.... No telephone call, next day.

In addition, we wish to eliminate existing wiring fence in backyard. It is a lot of works. WELL DONE.

We want to update our 100 amp electrical panel. It took to deal with PG&E. Initially we will need to pay $1200 to. A couple of days after we paid, got the following message from PG&E that they will just elongate the cable. $1200'll be refunded by them to me personally. I guess likely because all of the wires are simply renewed by them in our community two weeks ago. We're lucky we do not have to pay the extra fee. Chris did all of the communications using. In the next day, they joined sub-panel and the main panel. After the next inspection can we fix the stucco. We are aware that the quote did not contain the panel's stucco repair. Chris said he understands another handyman can do a good job of the stucco repair. After fixing, the stucco fix is scheduled on Monday, I will update the picture.
This crew is awesome. Professional and individual, they are prepared to answer my questions all in the home, no matter it's related to the project or not. They understood what they do. They worked satisfactorily and cleaning well. I feel blessed that we make the choice that is ideal.
The permit was implemented by us . They call the inspection on day 1 after install the main plank and sub-panel. Following the inspection, reconnect and PG&E arrived to update the power.
We offered several electricians, Chris has turned into the proficient one. He got our confidence at the first time we met.

The team was at my house on time (actually sooner ), very nice, and extremely professional. All works done perfectly, and within schedule. We asked them to install 3 lights into the kitchen that has been completed within few hours and that was not planned at all! The team was able to take care of all of 13 lights installed without any difficulty.

Had a fantastic experience with this firm. Tried calling other companies but they were too busy or did not pick up the telephone. I was able to generate an appt with decision and chris arrived as promised. He was in and out in probably less than 30 mins. If I have some difficulties, will definitely call again later on.

Only had Choice outside to do some more work, this time in a rental. As usual, they did a terrific job. Its good to have shows up on time, and does a great job. Highly recommend.

I had them put in a light fixture not even 2 years ago, and now it is about to fall out of the ceiling. It's very dangerous. I tried emailing and calling them, but there's been no reaction in the previous 36 hours. There was nothing on their voicemail which signaled they were on holiday. Terrible service, they do not stand by their work!

Very fine job at a price that is reasonable. We have an older kitchen lighting installation, and the lighting was not working. Option fixed problems for under $300 with bulbs the switch and a number of the equipment. Showed up over the appointment window, fast & friendly.

When I asked for quotes on an exterior socket fix, Christopher from Choice Electric gave me a reasonable bid in moments. A couple of days discussed options -- right on time analyzed the occupation, after Nick showed up and went to work. He was fixed the issue well and quick and efficient. I'm quite pleased with their work.

Fantastic service. I had an unusual problem that needed to think out of the box and find solutions to change light bulb fixations in the ceiling. They were available to some propositions and also did a great job that delivered a perfect result for the ideal price. Highly recommended!

Great service at reasonable cost. Chris and his staff installed recessed lighting in two bedrooms. Easy communication for receiving Chris and the quote answered all my questions throughout the procedure. They finished the task and showed up on time. There was no hidden charges or price. What he quoted initially was the invoice. He made an agreement to get all of the work and even recommended a heating contractor feel the holes made throughout the light installation and to spot up.

Two days and they set up recess lights on the wall, bar pendant lights and outdoor lights, superb job from the entire residence! The team is quite professional, so I highly suggest them.

He showed up with his helper, installed the ceiling chandelier within 2 hours up. The installation time and price is quite affordable. It will be Chris again if I need another work done.

I called around the Fremont area and obtained couples of quotations. Chris gave an accurate all inclusive quote to me. I made an appointment with him the.

A section of my floor went dark daily and Chris saved. I had. One suggested I had to cut a couple of access panels in my floor to look find the junction box and another said they had to crawl up in my attic to find the issue. Both said it would cost quite a little cash. I had been willing to do this but just as a last resort. Chris came to check things out and found the power came back . He took the excess time to fix a lot of other problems I had, cleaned up and charged me for substances and the service fee. Choice Electric saved a lot of heartache and me a whole lot of money.

I was pleased with the job Chris did. He arrived on time and was really friendly and knowledgeable. He quoted me a price which was what it ended up costing.
