I was undoubtedly pleased to not have to spend the thousands of dollars in repairs that the other company had proposed. They shall remain nameless, but never again.
They were amazed when they saw what the company had indicated, and showed me that the problem was as straightforward as a air filter. They clarified that this had caused the device to be unable to keep up with the temperatures. Not only did they show me that the plugged filter (that the company prior hadn't replaced), but they changed the filter also gave me the size so I could replace the filters if I wanted to without paying any extra fees.
For saving me by the wheelers and dealers on the market, THANK YOU! A couple of months ago I contacted the other HVAC company since it didn't appear to be running correctly to check my furnace. The tech spent hours studying the unit simply to tell me that what required to be substituted. I contacted Roberts Mechanical after a proposal after quoting her ridiculous number for the fixes. THANK GOD!
