Just Tankless

Can not say enough great about Just Tankless.
Phillip from CLAP Construction and his helper came and spent an hour and a half poking around and stated he wasn't able to complete, but that he'd need to return in the morning and end up. He comes back in the morning for another hour and informs me that the bad news..."you are going to require a new PCB board along with a brand new valve and igniters." It was going to be around $1500. He suggested since additional parts were bound to go bad in the future we get a brand-new water heater. .
Al is an expert in every sense of the term. He was educated, fast, efficient and on-time. From being without hot water for 11, he actually saved us. I was grateful to have found him especially after running to the scam artist from Clap Construction.
I went online to find a group certified technicians that were capable to work on our brand of water heater. I called the technician among the which was nearest to our property. It wasn't Just Tankless - it was a different firm - Clap Construction in Mountain View.
Avoid Phillip at Clap Construction - HUGE red flags. Avoid them like the plague.
I was wrong although I believed the fix would be a process.
He told me that the other guy mis-diagnosed the issue, took a peek at the water heater and showed up. It was only everything was fine. The valve was only a couple hundred Just Tankless saved me over a $1000, perhaps more, since I considered purchasing a brand-new water heater.
If you are having water heater problems, Al is the man, 100 percent.
After hanging up with him, I needed another opinion (I did not trust this guy.) . I called Just Tankless and talked to the owner called Al.. He was a very nice guy. I told him that the story and how I wanted another opinion. This was a Saturday and he did not have time but he stated he'd squeeze me somehow later in the day.
I had to purchase the valve and immediately it, but the water heater has been fixed in no time, thanks to Al.. The parts that Clap Structure deemed defective actually were not bad. Al told me that they had been absolutely fine, he just told me they were awful to make some cash off me.

With all the repair options exhausted, we moved to plan b - replacement. Al patiently explained the advantages and disadvantages of the leading brands of tankless water heaters. Al and his right hand man Armando obtained the water heater installed inside a day. Through the ceremony appointments, Armando and Al demonstrated fantastic communication, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Al is the contractor that I've worked with. We had. Al responded to my call for service that was emergent. He went more than the extra mile by troubleshooting different areas of the water heater until the repair options exhausted. His technology background came in handy throughout. The best effort was truly given by him, went over and beyond.
Now that our water heater has been running for approximately a month. It is long overdue to extend our appreciation for the excellent service which Armando and Al supplied. Let me spread the word here - if you desire a tankless, visit Al; if you don't have a tankless, think about receive one, and go to Al.. He is hands down the best tankless contractor on the market.

I called Just Tankless since I don't have any hot water and will need to replace with a tankless ASAP. Said that orders are NOT being taken by him because he's reserved for two weeks. Something can also be wrong with their mobiles - it goes to an answering service that continues to request that a number but does not connect with any ability.

Really pleased with their job. Enjoying our brand new Rinnai heater. Timely and professional, easy to deal with. Very good at explaining technical details about such a layman as myself. Highly recommend.

We called on a Thursday when our water heater expired, hoping for the best (and afraid we wouldn't have hot water until Monday. ) He completed all the set up to get us water that night, and came out after his final appointment for evaluation. Found them through the Noritz website after our 4 year old unit started throwing the"inner leak" error code. Contacted via email with all the fundamentals and would have the ability to install the week and was surprised to hear back they would order the part that is warranted. Came back a day following the part arrived and it was clear he knows his stuff. A bit over an hour later the unit working flawlessly again, and is fixed, descaled.

Our water heater stopped working, and he came out to see us. He out it, figured out it was the igniter, and told us how the part could be ordered by us ourselves for $30.
Because it was Friday night, be without hot water for a week, and also we'd need to wait until Monday to order the part! So before leaving, he figured out how to wire a different brand's igniter to our own water heater so we might have hot water before the part came. Life saver!

We used Just Tankless to replace/upgrade our old Rinnai tankless water heater. Everything went smoothly - quite responsive on providing setup, and quotation explained and answered all our questions and setting up first visit itself was done fast with no difficulties.
We were quite satisfied. What happened , however, is what motivated me to write this review... Soon after the setup, we discovered that the water temperature within our showers was occasionally lukewarm instead of hot. Suspecting the water heaterwe called Al to help us figure out what may be wrong. Al managed to quickly help us determine the problem wasn't the water heater, but instead a cross flow flow somewhere else within our system (cold water getting mixed into the hot water line). Though the water heater wasn't at fault, Al was patient in walking making sure we completed them and then explaining them until we understood what they each showed. Our escape is fixed and our showers are hot . It's truly fantastic to work with customer focused and someone who not only does a good job, but is patient.

Wow. Al stated there could be a problem if the unit had any warranty assistance. When I attempted to describe it can't be effected because they set up the unit and warranties work I realized was fishing to decrease the job.
Find another builder.
I purchased a Rennai tankless and asked them to install it. Al wouldn't put in a product they did not market to me. Oh, ok. I figure they wanted to pull there pound of flesh on this item's selling.

Al told me that you can not install electric water heaters, which it was impossible project after receiving this advice, and it couldn't be carried out. WHAT? I awakened to try and comprehend exactly what he said, but he simply spouted a stream of crap:
That really is a predator. Stay away.
-- two 60amp circuits or three 40amp circuits? This isn't rocket science.
3. It'll cost you much more exactly what a water heater that is normal will
I have recently updated the power circuits in my home to support a water heater. I've a list of models which would provide the necessary leak, however I deferred choosing one until I selected a plumber (to receive their feedback on models they reliable ).
Seriously, he told me my project is not doable and he can not warrant. This wasn't a voice of experience increasing considerations, it was somebody who wanted to avoid a customer that is prepared, intelligent.
2. You can not get enough electricity from
-- I've got it
-- That is why they're offered in Home Depot, Lowes, OSH...? Yeah, those stores stock products which nobody uses.
4. Nobody purchases tankless
1. It's impossible to install enough circuits

Really appreciate his honesty rather than hoping to up-sell me.
Checked my WH out and gave me the straight scoop. Probably not difficulty using the WH, but using one or more single arm valves in my house (e.g shower) in which the mixing valves or cartridge are neglecting. Gave me the skinny so he did not have to charge me for that piece on how best to diagnose myself.
Was having issues with a Navian WH and had guest at my house. Called Al at and expected to set an appointment throughout the week. . .it had been Sunday night 30 min prior to his submitted hours finished!) .
Also walked me and pointed out some points of installation that was incorrect.
Subsequently, took him out into my garage into an older Bosch AquaStar tankless that hasn't worked in 4 decades. He explained he could repair it, but I'd be better off taking it out to pasture and installing a point-of-service WH for my slop sink instead.

Great support. Our igniter today went out - known as Just Tankless and Al was out to the house in 1.5 hours after another telephone he was on - system was repaired in 15 minutes!

Al seems to be a victim of his success. Al has more important things to do, Should you will need a tankless heater look elsewhere.
After all the glowing reviews here I called Al.. Provide me a quote and he scheduled a visit to evaluate my situation. He said he had been swamped and couldn't spare a technician and stated he would have called to cancel the appointment but had not gotten around to it!
He told me he had been too busy to send anybody and suggested that I find someone to install . I asked for a referral and he told me he had no one to recomend.

Professional: Al provided a comprehensive explanation of this work to be performed, an on-time begin that is next-day, and hauled the unit off. The setup works and appears great. I highly recommend Just Tankless.

Al left and saved the day! We sadly have a tankless water heater. The manufacturer is no longer in business and parts are incredibly scarce. Al tracked down the necessary part and saved us thousands of $ by substituting a reasonably priced valve. My family can continue to fend off the replacement once it went on the blink and my 3 year old could have a warm tub nights! Thank you Al!!

The contractor that did the setup sort of messed up the tankless water heater and we could have 5 minutes of warm water until it shut itself off. Al came on spot and time the matter in 3 minutes. It turned out to be a quick fix and the heater was finally up running as it should.
I was pointed to by al some misses during the setup and I fix it afterwards.

Due to issues with existing plumber and my construction, I called Just Tankless back. Damn if he didn't spend another 25 minutes with me on the telephone going into great detail about my circumstance. I swear by the gods and the new, if I could fire my plumber and hire somebody new, it'd be this man. It was not only that he took my phone. Or that he was knowing I was not likely going to provide instant enterprise to him. However, his practical knowledge was better compared to earnings support, and better than several plumbers I have called from Rinnai USA who read out of this manual and called me. Gotta love someone who is aware of what they are doing and can communicate clearly....so I felt the need to come back and update this.

My tankless water heater (AO Smith) broke and had to be replaced. It was unfortunately not covered under warranty. I got estimates from three different areas for replacement. The previous one was Al, that gave a reasonable quote, came another day (on time), and set up a Rinnai unit which works great! Nice knowledgeable and guy. Did not attempt to up sell me like the previous water heater guys. I understand nothing about pipes, so I feel the pipes tried to make the most of this. I am quite happy with Al at Just Tankless and would recommend him to others.

I'm happy with Just Tankless support. Al and Armando take down the water heater and set up the 9.8 GPM tankless WH within 3 hours on Sunday. The workmanship were top notch.

Do yourself a favor - if you are considering a water heater, give these guys a call and you'll see what I am talking about.
Do you want the work? Do you want a contractor who is knowledgable, will show up on time, courteous, and does what he claims he'll do? In that case, then Al at Just Tankless is the guy you want. No, he is not the cheapest, but if you appreciate a job done and an trade you will pay to it. He was but I knew right away he was communicated concealed plans well, and I know will be available if desired for follow up. I got nothing close with another 3 contractors to this I got quotes from.
