Interaction with Arthur: when I predicted, it must have been around 330 am. I hunted through"Yelp" searching for the very"reliable person" (according to reviews)who can help rather than charge a fortune. *** PRO TIP: always search thru the"unapproved" reviews*** He answered... I described the issue and he diagnosed on the spot with a quote. His customer support is through the roof although he charges the average for the region. He showed up and fixed it and then walked providing free suggestions on a bunch of things to me. He even engaged in conversation with the neighbors to find out what they understood about the history of the plumbing here (I.E. Have you noticed trucks... Have you'd clogged pipes to the mainline).
Bottom line: He had been beyond what I would be calling again should I need anything done and anticipated.
Background: Was out of town for the weekend and noticed standing water(backup) in the bathtub and toilet in the basement. First thought is so that I google it that I can correct this. The results return as a jolt to the mainline but a lot of folks were stating to snake the toilet and the bathtub... So I tried all the methods(dip, dip w/ stopper in bathtub and continue the auger. Nothing worked and more waste burped through the evening and morning.

In response to the comment of the company. You took advantage of us. We tried to pay the initial, over inflated quotation, regardless of the fact that we supplied additional labor and your estimated permit fees came in $800 lower ALL prior to"signing off" and you refused. I believe your actions reflect those of unscrupulous thiefs.
In my view and that of other plumbers I spoke with after the incident, their actions are not industry standard. I believe they stole from me, my loved ones and my business. I recommend you avoid getting ripped off and run away as fast as you can.
This company is the reason plumbers have the reputation within the trade industry. I would avoid at any cost.
We had a time and materials contract and they refused to supply substances receipts or any time sheets to us. Instead they charged us nearly 30% over the estimate, which we informed them prior to the project was to high, and were informed it would come down. With no curve balls at work, warning or explanation to the inflated expenses. When we asked for explanation regarding the increased prices and asked to get the time sheets and substances receipts each contract we had been advised"Bill is non refundable. Pay us or we'll charge extra fees and get our lawyer involved."

We had a plumbing emergency and I called a few places that are regional if I could have someone come immediately to determine - Arthur took my phone at 11:30am and was in my house by 1pm. The issue was diagnosed with 1:15 pm and there was a solution produced, executed and finished by 3:30pm. I cannot say how this process that is efficient and quick was and we're so relieved! Pricing was very fair, taking into consideration the emergency we had been experiencing. I'll gladly recommend this business to anybody!

Being new to the neighborhood and first time home owners can be extremely overwhelming. But when we had work in our home by Arthur, we knew we had found"our plumber." My husband and I felt very confident in the guidance and his work he gave us. We had a propane line set up in the installation's process and for our kitchen stove - he'd found a leak, which he repaired for us. Along the way he gave us some very helpful homeowner tips. He was helpful and willing to talk in regards to the propane line installation. He coordinated schedules in an timely and efficient way with us. We'll surely use him! Thank you Arthur!

I would like to say how appreciative I was that I called that plumbing service. We had an emergency flooding in my friend's house and they could come so out to our house to do a diagnostic evaluation of this leak. He was kind and funny and gave additional tips concerning the pipes and sump pumps. Thank you for your service that is professional and fast!

This is our second go round with Chesapeake Services. I enjoy their family friendly service. They are knowledgeable and talk you through the services. He even put my own hair dryer back were he got it from after using the caulk to dry around the tub!
