The job was done and efficient. Yeah it was expensive because it was a job but that's more than likely.
Had one shower and a leaky sink. Dennis came above the span of two visits and to my rescue got it fixed right up.
Chuck's plumbing was a good option. Thanks Dennis!
A-OK Company. Total price $99.
Yes, I would call this company again.
I went down and started at the beginning of the plumber names. Chuck's was the very first one with a phone operator that is fantastic, she was SO nice and useful. After 45 minutes of trying he needed to phone in his supervisor. Supervisor came they out and we had our yard back.
We had a flow (actually a lake) beginning in our front yard due to a clogged escape drain pipe.

Over the last several years we have used Chuck's Plumbing and have always been satisfied. Superior service, quality products on-time and fair pricing. From a simple repair to a complete on re-piping - Chuck and his staff are those!
Wanted to take a moment to talk about my most recent adventure. Let me preface this by stating the very first time we used Chucks we had an amazing experience. Hence, why we reached out again to get a leaky faucet. This time however, was different. Office staff is great, but was argumentative, rude, and only unprofessional. Daryle came out the first time and convinced my husband and I we were basically crazy and our faucet wasn't leaking and it was"bone dry" The next evening we had water and went through 10 towels in 2 days. The exact gentleman showed up, although called Chucks hoping they would send somebody else. And imagine what!? He explained there was no leak and that I need to have washed dishes and"splashed" water gave my babies a bath and got water on the counter. So blaming me and in my thoughts, calling me an idiot. Mind you, under the sink was moist too. He argued and did not bother to take the faucet apart once we indicated that might be the problem. Then he tried to charge us $50... THEN we have an email with"recommendations" in the tech to get a $500 faucet and multiple $4000+ water softener!??? We are still experiencing the leak and have towels. Haven't washed dishes or my kids at the sink... not sure how the water ended up there.
Anyhow, like I said, first experience was amazing, but this latest one was extremely disappointing.
Chuck's plumbing was fantastic. Darryl arrived an hour after I called the difficulty in. He fixed my problem over the hour and did a fantastic job. Quick and Simple!
Is it customary to leave a gaping hole in someone's house! $1200 leak in a copper pipe. I asked them to make it appropriate and I got $300 ago... was promised $550 but I'll take what I could get. I am afraid to hire a different plumber and I need you.
Chuck's Plumbing was the preferred installer advocated by the maker of a device I purchased, which is the only reason I let them operate in my pipes rather than my preferred plumber, figuring they'd offer expert installation and service given the high cost point they were charging for their services. The only positive thing I have to mention is that the install was done in a timely manner. It seemed pipe dope was utilized not being an expert myself I didn't complain imagining the work was done and the flavor to the water went off after a few weeks. Regrettably one of those fittings they utilized cracked leading to a leak. Since the apparatus was in my own water main I had emergency service since the leak required water to the house to be turned off. Because I had timely repair was especially critical. I advised of the when I called and was advised that some point between 8-11 AM another day was since they do not supply any sort of emergency response service. I asked if they could make sure that I had been the very first appointment of the day promptly at 8AM and had been advised they couldn't do this and it may be as late. I had been told that they weren't going to go out of the way to repair a leak, at which point I realised it was a substantial failure necessitating water to the entire home to be shut away and advised that if that's the best that they could do they ought to go ahead and get me about the program and I would call back if I was able to find someone else to come out earlier. I called back a couple of minutes later after securing a different plumber and asked where I should send the bill since they had been not able to provide timely service to repair their defective job, at which time I received a profanity laced tirade advising me of what a horrible person I was, was advised never to contact them again, and had been hung on. The plumber doing the repair advised that it appeared the stress crack in the plastic was a result of Chuck's Plumbing over tightening the relationship, leading to eventual failure. Following their work leading to the only substantial water leak I have experienced to date, I would strongly warning others to prevent them.
Daryl, parked his company truck hopped out, approached our house, courageously greeted my barking puppy as if he had been his own.
At one point I asked" do you think you can do it now?" reassuringly he chuckled and said , 'No Problem!'"
Scott Myers
SPECIFICALLY, what impressed me was his ATTITUDE.
It's RARE to find anyone these days that really, Sounds happy. Daryl could have been serving the global space station, AND I've well been England's King. This young man took his job so serious and with Pride,
The work was finished quickly and could really be described as artwork (I should post a photo) I was speechless. I will never try another Plumbing company
signed,
I had been so impressed chuck's plumbing! Write this review and I was forced to get pause my Netflix marathon or an hour.
Of course at this point I had to pay them the $49 fee for your guy to come outside take a two second appearance at my shower and develop with this outrageous cost ( no exaggeration he just glanced at it and created this cost on his tablet) so I sent him on his way.
I don't leave bad reviews but I want everyone to be aware of the effort to scam me from tens of thousands of dollars of the company.
The employee they shipped out was nice. However, all I had was a shower head. His company and this guy tried to charge $430!!!! Then after I balked at the cost he agreed to take $99 off, like $329 was a thing that is fantastic. I was appalled.
First, regardless of what they would not give any estimates, and charge you a $49 fee just to come outside. I had been desperate to receive my issue although this should have been a red flag for me personally and the person on the phone was nice so I went with them. Major mistake.
So for your part that frustrates me I was able to modify the cartridge, with some help from YouTube, in less than 10 minutes with the replacement piece only costing me $49 and fix my escape.
I would NOT use this company. They're scamming people out of cash. It is a completely tear off and they are currently taking advantage of people with understanding of pipes.
Overpriced, but by charging to the quote they get you. I do not consider them an fair and honest business. Go somewhere else in the event that you would like a fantastic job done for a fair price. You'll be amazed at their costs and end up paying for someone reputable to do the job and paying this company to the quote.
I read some of the reviews for this company and called them to aid with a flow in the shutoff valve that is outside. Was treated rudely with a man. After being questioned like a criminal, was told it'd be $199 to get someone. . .if he had to go into his truck it'd be $350. No thanks to the rudeness and 3rd degree.
They installed the size water heater. It doesn't offer water to get anything over a five-minute shower or even a half-full tub every other hour. It's not in the home and ferocious competition for the hot water, causing tension and arguments at all hot water for a family. A relative has so we've been made on the stove to ditch into the bathtub, which is absurd and thoroughly irritating. The company refuses to provide apology or any alternative, and we can not afford to have the whole job redone.
They claim that the new water heater is caliber and exactly the same size as the old, but I still have photos of the old one and it was larger. It was a tight fit in the cabinet and this one has plenty of space on the sides and the surface. Our previous water heater was capable of filling our tub to the surface with water. I really don't remember ever running out of hot water before, and now we run out nearly every day.
Communication was poor, and they dodged giving the cost to me until the job was completed and I couldn't do anything but suck it up and cover. The cost was subsequently revealed to be extraordinarily high ($2000), about double what my neighbor (a retired handyman) stated I should expect.
I really don't understand what happened here and I do not know if it rises to the level of a lawsuit or a complaint to the Better Business Bureau or Consumer Protection, however I do understand that I'm extremely dissatisfied with the results and that they're not keen to make it even apologize. I can not in good conscience recommend this company, and I only wish I had used anyone else.
It's the rare business that really cares about you. Mostly, get compensated and they just want to get the job. We chose Chuck's Plumbing since they had a high number of five star reviews and I believed we could trust . However, a business should be judged not by how they work exactly what they do when they're tested, although when all goes right and everything goes wrong. This is a messy job, but they didn't rise to the event. I am disappointed with their business practices, this company, and their own work.
Called for some bathroom maintenance, expecting to wait days for an open appointment through an inconvenient time slot, but the staff of Chuck got me scheduled during my time slot within 2 times.
Jared answered my queries about another issue I was having and that I solved the problem, today my sink runs simpler too.
Jared was my technician, useful and really professional. He explained what was wrong and he was planning to fix it, giving me all of the options and pricing before he began working. The pricing choices were"all-in, out the door" pricing, none of the"it's only $99"... and the final bill really comes to $193.12 when taxation and labor are factored into the equation.
The work came with a 90 day warranty, which was extremely convenient because there was a minor issue that the day after the repair work. Jared came back out and fixed the matter, at no cost... no labor fee, zero parts charge, nothing!
I'll definitely be using Chuck's Plumbing for my repair needs!
I found this business from testimonials posted along with the reviews are pretty accurate. The business was responsive, professional, showed up on time; the work was good and Dennis, the man that did the job was professional and very personable. The cost was what I would consider high than I'd expected but I ahappy with the outcome.
Employed them again. Same outcome. If your objective is quality, I recommend them.
Reasonable prices. Here on time. Dennis . . .best plumber EVER! Diagnosed difficulty and watched through to completion. I will never use a different plumber!
I called to request a quote on a job that was simple. . .one which should not have demanded someone to really physically come to my house to give a quote to me. I was informed that they HAVE to send somebody for any estimate that they perform and that there's a charge for this, whether or not you end up hiring them to get the occupation or not. That is ridiculous, although I am sorry. I'm submitting this review in case it saves anybody else from wasting their time with those men. I wish I had not.
Edit: I don't have a problem with the fact that before providing me a price they desired to see it in person. I have a problem with the fact that they wanted to charge me $50 because of that. I talked to several other businesses later who were happy to give me free estimates.
Called about a small leak at the water meter box. Was quoted $419. I said no. Got home and mended it for $15 in no time at all. I think that it's in fact the City of Tampa that should of made the repair. Paid the service call. Yikes
We called Chuck's to have an outdoor faucet and one of our toilets needed new parts - the next day the plumber showed up on time and ready to go. Bobby was considerate and professional ( we hit it off immediately ) and quickly sized up the work. He took the time to explain what was offered a few suggestions to keep matters working smooth and optimized, in addition to involved to finish the work.
Bobby went above and outside - he was effective and did a great job top. We're pleased with the work and will only utilize Bobby from now on for any pipes upkeep moving. I recommend Chucks pipes - Thank you Bobby.
Excellent service from the start to the end. They were able to send a tech out the next morning even though I had a non-emergency item. A telephone was got by me where he was coming from, and even when he'd arrive.
Overall I am pleased. Quality does not come cheap people. You get exactly what you pay for. It was worthwhile in the end Though it was a little more than I wanted to invest.
Miles arrived and has been 100% prepared. He supplied an out-the-door estimate that wasn't full of caveats, or prices, or any of the nonsense. The job was authorized by me and he did a beautiful job! He even had to work around another issue, and nailed it.
It was time to replace our 16 year-old water heaters so we contacted Chuck's Plumbing.
My husband and I will use Chuck's Plumbing on all plumbing.
Our repairman, Mike, and his staff were so professional and knowledgeable. Chuck's Plumbing discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each water heater choice that we can create the most educated decision. Paying a little more to find hot water immediately has been a no-brainer. We also discussed possibilities for descalers and water softeners and that I think we will have Chuck's Plumbing return to add a water heater descaler.
We obtained confirmations for our appointment as promised, and Mike showed on time. His team was so considerate and everyone cleaned up after themselves there was no mess after their visit.
