Zippy Plumber

Called this morning about a leaky p-trap and Matt needed a plumber scheduled day. Shaun, the plumber , quickly identified the matter, evaluated a couple of quick fix solutions but get it done right and we decided to rebuild the p-trap. Shaun managed to rebuild it with all problems. I will be calling Zippy back for plumbing problems!

Great experience. My water heater that was ancient gave up the ghost. Following a mid-morning telephone to Matt, he had a service man, David, in my house over 90 minutes (who called when he got delayed in traffic to let me know he would be a few minutes late) David made a fast run to pick up the device, then returned to install the heater after explaining my choices, without aggressively trying to upsell me. Less than three hours later, everything was completed, although he needed to make modifications to bring up my system to code while installing. Cost was fair and exactly as mentioned, plus the clean-up was so thorough you would never know the place had even been bothered. A+ service. Don't hesitate to use this company again.

Called at 2:25 p.m. June 19th (aren't mobile phones a fantastic tool for tracking?) . . .it was a 3 minute call so clearly I did talk with someone - Supposed to have somebody call me back to set up appointment - waited all day that day and the next; then once again the following evening to determine what the problem was....she was apologetic and said she would get in contact with them again.
Now here it is now - June 21...I called another neighborhood plumber who came out within an hour (and it wasn't an emergency) and mended it on the spot! Now, just two minutes ago I get a phone from a different number saying Zippy does not have any work order from me - my company was called by them . . .seriously?? TWO telephone calls - and two discussions over TWO times -

Called back 2 times and the two times operator has been nice, said she'd find a tech to call me back but nobody did. When I have a water flow crisis in the middle of the night can't trust this company.
Called them to get an emergency plumbing repair at 3am. The operator said a technician would call back. Nobody did.

The rate was $350/hour and the trip fee is rolled by them into that if you agree to get the work done. The technician looked at another toilet downstairs, evaluated the distribution valves as not working and needing fix at some point, and he also checked the water pressure and explained it had been too high in addition to altering a toilet flapper. I am going to have to look for a lower hourly rate for the larger repairs which have to get carried out. Matt was super fine and the tech was enlightening and nice.

Disappointing Experience/Non-Experience. Called, talked. My day to become home for the 9, rearranged. No one called, nobody revealed! In addition to that, they are very hard to get a hold of. I tried calling a few time back, no one nobody called back and answered.

Had another issue with my washer and zippy came back - same experience!

Call Zippy in case you ever have a leak or any plumbing, and ask for Cody needs really! He was informative and useful, showed up within an hour of us phoning Zippy, and had the flow repaired at the fashion. We're so grateful to Cody for doing a great job.

I had an outstanding experience with Matt. He's great to talk to, always valuable and is a complete pro at what he can. As I stay in Atlanta, he is going to be my go-to person for plumbing problems. Highly recommend him.

Matt is fantastic! We had some questions about working with gasoline lines also are first time home buyers. Did Matt provide us advice on our project. He was available to FaceTime with us in the center of a project on a SUNDAY! Talk about customer support!!! We will never use anyone besides Matt for all problems with anything plumbing related. He's wonderful

Matt came out to a Sunday. Matt, cut to find I had a pipe with holes in it because of nails that had punctured the pipe. He replaced it cut out the pipe and successfully cared for this leak.
I was rather impressed with the diligence and professionalism of Matt in deal with this severe problem. I would absolutely recommend them for plumbing solutions and will certainly utilize Zippy plumbing again.
A remediation company had detected moisture within my wall the day and suggested for a plumber to detect in which the moisture was coming from.

I phoned frantically explaining that my garbage disposal was leaking into my cabinet and creating quite a mess in my hardwood flooring -- Robert instantly stepped in and proceeded to work checking the situation, which makes his program accessible, and ultimately, repairing my problem in less than five minutes! I was not able to be at home for the visit but Robert phoned me arrived and walked throughout the entire process on the phone at a type and calm way. He did an assessment in my washing machine pipes which supplied an estimate free of charge and had sprung a leak. Company, superb support, and trustworthy individuals.
It is not everyday you have an"enjoyable emergency plumbing" encounter, but Zippy Plumber did just that.

Robert came out to resolve an issue while we were under guarantee, the builder didn't repair and was fantastic. He helped us figure out and also fixed the issue. Would absolutely recommend and use again!

I decided to have it taken care of and had a shower faucet which was leaking for a few months. They did send someone out the next day to take a look at the matter. I had been told by Robert there are basically two ways to fix the problem 1) Rebuild the parts in the faucet or two ) fix the faucet and inner-workings completely. That sounded like a reasonable assessment, but was subsequently told that Zippy doesn't really recomend the first option as it doesn't really correct the problem... okay so really the only choice would be to replace.
- The wall has a good size hole in it
Would not suggest Zippy, and actually have a brain to employ a company that is 2nd to come do the job correctly then take Zippy to small claims court. Terrible experience for 3 hours of work and again $1300 to fix a leaking shower faucet.
- The shower pieces appear terrible from within the shower and do not fit the original size of the older one
The job was done in roughly 3 hours. Let me repeat, the job was done in 2 hours and $1300 had been charged. Additionally, the"small hole" tuned out to be a curiously shaped hole about 1ft from 1 1/2ft that I can not cover with the kind of mechanism which Robert suggest I go buy from Home Depot.
I had been told that I'd need to cover 1/2 the cost upfront ($650) as Robert would be receiving the replacement pieces himselfbut rest assured he'd get quality pieces. Turns out he went out and purchased a shower unit which didn't fit properly and frankly looks terrible from within the shower (see images ). He then advised me that he would need to get the inner parts from supporting, and that there would be a small hole which Zippy was not responsible for fixing after... ok, not good but I can live with this.
- We needed to use one of my blankets to maintain all of the drywall and demo pieces
Things I am Unhappy about:
- Above all Robert the tile because of him purchasing too small of a piece along with went to depart with no calking when there were HOLES between the metal cover the edges of the shower handle! Why would a specialist leave a room for water to get in the wall?

Since Matt took the opportunity to lose some knowledge about plumbing with me and was helpful; I am taking the opportunity to write him a review and shed some knowledge and stellar it is with Zippy. Even on YouTube, I went with these pointers to get a bit more advice. Done and done. I support Matt. He extended an offer for me to phone back when I had questions. How nice! Thanks Matt!
I can't readily determine what the problem is here and look at the situation. Quite frankly, so that I start yelping to get a plumber, I don't wish to deal with it. I tried TaskRabbit however they had no one available. After reaching a plumbers no one had immediate accessibility. They'd openings on Monday. . .and it's currently Thursday. This was until I reached Matt in Zippy Plumber or the chatty plumber as he calls himself.
As a Millennial, I am not big on liking to get my hands dirty. Sometimes the job requires it however. I had a plumbing issue at a property where one of the toilet sinks was clogged. The renter informs me he shaves his head. "Well, do you pull out the hair or just it go down the drain?" He states. Smh. That is my duty? Fine.
To be apparent Matt and I've only met. He came out to do the job. I desricbed my issue and he asked if I had pipes under. I did and he explained this was simple and that he would guide me. Wait, let me back up. To begin with, Matt told me exactly the same as another plumbers he had no accessibility and was overbooked. He referred me to a man named Peter whom he apprenticed with coming up at the plumbing game. Peter was busy but equally great. I was planning to phone him until Matt agreed to give me some pointers. It was not long, we were on the phone 5 minutes. Unscrew this, unscrew that, get a bowl and let it drain....and your essentially done. Ooooooohhhhh. That was simple. Pipes with pvc pipes isn't my forte but should you live you should learn something new everyday, hey.

My very fresh water heater (*less than 2 years old) went out and we couldnt figure out why. Russell came out and was able to troubleshoot and fix the issue in matter of moments! He had been great and a lifesaver! I will definitely call them again needs!!! Thank you Russell!!

, called for a price quote to possess an ACCOR closed valve provided to send images to ask. The guy I spoke to said it's $89 to send somebody out and then they will be able to provide a price quote. The usual scam, they'll charge you to examine it and then they are going to provide you some cost and you lose the $89 if you don't enjoy it! . What I needed is a straight forward job with a valve that is known and I offered to send images, but he hung up on me once I said that to him, I guess he understood I'll not play together with their scam! . I DON NOT RECOMMEND.

After declining their services, I quickly looked online to find a licensed plumber who could replace my garbage disposal with a brand new one.
Before closing the sale, I had been asked if I'd questions-which I had. They cleaned up and took the old disposal together with them....so no cleanup for me!
These gentleman were specialist, answering service calls. When it had been finished, team was tagged by them at every interval and double checked the work.
Would I refer them out to family and my friends? I've done it!
Alston and robert came at my house and as scheduled. They took their shoes off prior to entering my house...a pleasant plus since we do not wear shoes in the house.
I called because I wanted my garbage disposal changed. I had another appointment with a business they were very unprofessional and came later than scheduled, and believed I was fine with them just'showing' and not calling.
They asked me some troubleshooting questions assessed the situation immediately and got to work. The project itself was relatively fast, and well under the time that is estimated. I had no issues like water damage or leakage from my disposal or plumbing beneath the sink.
Would I call them? Absolutely!

While talking to a phone representative I've got the impression that this company acted like middleman or a consortium for local plumbers. It is just I never received a call from the representative plumber in my region. Just to get an estimate on a new traditional water heater will cost $69.95. The fee for a quote won't be deducted from the price of the project if the plumbing project is done.

He took care of the matter and showed me what caused the problems. Also showed me the way to look after the issue in future. Any other plumber could charge hundreds of dollars on the things that we didn't need. Very happy with the experience and could have no hesitation recommending these guys to all of my family members and friends.
What a superb and enjoyable experience. They gave me a appointment, the plumber showed up on time, plus that he had been very polite. Very knowledgeable and professional.
