Do not wait until you have a heating or cooling issue. Have them check out it - recommend the service contract to prevent surprises. In the summertime, you may be put on hold longer than you wish, since this is the time for them. They will call you straight back and leave a message and schedule your appointment.
It's like they cut the level of service quality and raised prices.
It's intriguing how RS Andrews has gone out of 5 stars to 3 stars on Yelp. It does however reflect my own experience.
I learned that they poorly installed my humidifier using a pipe that is too short. Didn't realize before I called outside another company and they showed me it was too brief to link to the canister.
When I used RS Andrews that they were quite responsive, I really could text their person who worked on my house and he'd handle everything. Where you get a hold time He doesn't respond to texts, you need to call their helpdesk. You need in advance even for regular maintenance. They are shut, if you need service on a Saturday.
We got our dryer vent duct cleaned now and we held off doing the house but I am very happy with the job and my dryer now is functioning drying the clothes in one go around.
** Warning... They advised me that you must clean your dryer ducts once annually and that issues with the dryer is the primary cause of housefires!
We called them to have a fundamental upkeep done on the ac/heating components and to get a quote. They called me a day or two later with a quotation for the air ducts, also came out the same day for its air and heating upkeep. I'd called a few other companies too and they were about the Exact Same price give or take a couple bucks for the heating and air upkeep but needed a ton of reviews so that we picked them and they blew everyone else out of the water with the pricing for your air duct cleaning, (except for one firm that was wayyyyy lower than everybody else and that left me somewhat suspicious of that firm LOL)
The men that did the job were very professional and answered all of my questions.
Stay away from the POS company. Overpriced BS. Employees not happy with their jobs and make up stories to inform customers in order that they can bill more. Employ some professionals that know what the hell they are doing! Not phoning them see ya
Never will give company to them. Heat mill and I paid for the replacement of it. Never again.
Thomas Hardeman currently works for this firm. He used to possess Plumbit but sadly had to close it down he's an excellent plumber and highly recommend him. RS Andrews is the business he has plumbers, also works for. Thomas was requested by me since I used him and I understand he does quality work! He is efficient honest and cleans up after he is done. Nice guy and I will be asking him to return to put in my water heater!
Company has dispatcher and is very nice confirm and telephone ETA of this repair person. If they are running they will call and inform you. It's a big company so I am presuming they get a lot of calls, because brokers helped other 34, I needed to phone a few times to find someone to answer. Nonetheless, it's okay rather get a live representative leave a Voicemail.
Interesting fact: these men aren't on commission. They do not get paid to"sell" things you do not need. These men are professional, repair it, and inform you what you need to repair the matter.
Was alerted to water flowing out of the cellar by our neighbor and known as R. S. Andrews to assess the matter and fix the matter. Even though it was after hours, David Stitt was our house within an hour of the telephone. He assisted us diagnosed the matter and turn the water off, but since it had been dark wouldn't have the ability to repair it. However, David made sure that his dispatcher would ship out someone first thing and running. Michael Waters, from master plumber, I got a call at 7:30 am, he would be at our house in 20 minutes. All told, following an hour or out plumbing issue was repaired that when it had been installed and it was a LOT less than I expected. Both of these guys are a charge to R. S. Andrews and if I move it's going to be hard not having a business like them to partner with.
I've given so much money with brand new systems to these folks. Tonight I noted they offer 24 hour services and had an emergency leak. 24 hour emergency service - they pass along to technician and means that you leave your name, number, and address. Who may or may not (not in my case) phone you back. 24 hour service means they have an answering service 24 hours but not plumbing or anything else you really need. Businesses should not market.
We'd Michael Waters come outside to look at the flow in our kitchen ceiling. He knew his stuff and was very nice and professional. He did a fantastic job and ended up fixing the drain in the shower. I would highly recommend him
I had been referred to R.S. Andrews and another company by my neighbor. I opt to go with R.S. Andrews since their pricing has been in sync using the ordinary market pricing to the Atlanta-area and the high quality customer service I received during my initial call. I've had my house serviced for pipes problems by R.S. Andrews twice so far and each time the service was exceptional. They came within the time window the plumbers were proficient and knowledgeable and were able to solve the problems I faced. Keep up the great job!
Please do not use them. You will regret it!

They are supposed to know electrical, plumbing and heating and ac. What I will tell you is that - I had a problem with my HVAC system and they advised than to repair it it would be more economical to replace it. I got this company and another opinion - THAT ONLY DOES HEATING AND AIR, figured out that there was nothing wrong with my AC unit, which it had been an electrical problem. So instead of benefiting from me and selling me something that I did not want, they referred me to a different firm who came out and conducted another socket and I've not had a problem! I've left FOUR messages asking to speak to the supervisor. I've not received a single return call!
This is definitely the HVAC business in Atlanta. They charge $125 per pound for Freon while $65 is charging. Their techs are impolite and just attempt to sell you . Remain clear
My 19 year-old furnace died this week....RS Andrews altered my other system so I phoned and they quoted me $3337 for the brand new furnace....my brother-in-law is in HVAC (in Florida), he explained that was crazy and to have another opinion. The second quotation was under $2k....if you use these guys you need to get another quote to validate the price. If you are like me and do not have enough time, then avoid them.
We needed a quotation right away and are currently purchasing a home. The technician who came was very nice but had technical problems and couldn't create the quote there. He said he'd send it first thing in the morning. Didn't happen. At which I had been told that they would get it to me that day by lunch I called the office. Didn't happen. The following day I called and was advised they would have it after another 24 hours to me. Even after I explained to them that day that my diligence ended. I have yet to receive this quotation. Wouldn't use this firm if I was paid by them.
This is not if you're currently interested in finding a person to appear on time. If you're currently seeking to find a quote this is not the company for you.
This afternoon, I got a call from them along with the girl calling said,"we've been trying to get ahold of you (2 back to back calls in 7:14 and 7:15 final night), do you still want us to come?" Um. Yes. Appointments aren't routinely made by me to the hell of it. . .or just in case. . .or because I am lonely and want people. (I held all those responses but"yes"- tap on the rear for me). The caller said,"oh, okay, we will attempt to get someone out there shortly". It was 8:40 am.
The plumber no apologies- Looked in our faucet, said that there was nothing he would do to mend it; Said he'd cost us $400 to snake the emptying and said he couldn't tighten the faucet. And did the 1 thing I compensated him for the visit and wouldn't. Because I could have done what he did, I am calling them to get my money back.
We just moved into a new house and there a few small things we needed to take care of (a drippy faucet, and a slow drain, a faucet which was not closely fitting on a sink- literally. . .THAT is the listing ). R.S. Andrews got our business since they returned my call. We set an appointment to 9:30 arrival for 8:30 now.
While I'd another seller in my house last night for electrical, I got a call from R.S. Andrews to confirm. I understood we were not considering altering the appointment and didn't reply because I had been busy.
We had been given a time period of three hour window. Wasted day by waiting for the plumber. Inspite of calling every hour they could not offer he update. We were called in the end of the time period that plumber could n and is running late
Not even supply an estimated time. Very inadequate service supplier. We could give them evaluation.
A large issue was discovered by the pipes team with all our duct work. They let us know so we had the HVAC staff come out for a quote. They set up a new system for all of us in a few days. It works like a charm... a large improvement over our 18 year-old system. They moved the vents to the room that was remodeled and also cleaned up our upstairs work. All well done.

R.S. Andrews is quite capable and they are professionally managed. Their workers are all first class. They are skilled, care in their work, keep you informed, do what they say and when they promised to do it. They are not the cheapest. However quality is delivered by them, worry work.
HVAC
We're remodeling our house so that we contacted RS Andrews.
We'll surely use them again and we highly recommend them.
They've plumbed our new toilet and remodeled powder area. And also installed a tankless water heater. Brad and cody are amazing - we could not be happier.
Had a Saturday 8:30 AM appt and he arrived at 9:10. I was not given a window, but there was presumed to function as one. Guy went directly to work locating an upstairs escape and was quite friendly. He gave me the chance by removing the ceiling drywall downstairs, which I was fine 21, to save $175. After about 45 minutes, he also decided the leak came out of the kids' bathroom toilet. He eliminated the toilet and discover the flange was broken. He replaced it and eliminated the flange, reset the toilet and tested everything. He abandoned for one more job at 2:00 PM. The repair price but so far so good.
Pros:* VERY pricey.
* Problem solved in 1 trip maintenance performed also.
Cons:
* Technician was thorough, professional, and experienced.
* Next day appointment.
* Difficult sell to purchase more services.
RS Andrews did reach out once we got our realtor involved. They believed that they did attempt to reach out and leave a message (that I did not receive) but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here. A tech was sent by them following day who found that the disconnected pipe. They explained that it wasn't properly braced (should not that be captured in review?) And bumped and could have been connected at the time of the review or pulled out of place. I suppose it is possible before any work on the home was completed, information we naively 32, but we've had another vendor notify us of standing water in the crawlspace. No matter as I conducted each of the fixtures in the home the technician repaired the pipe , reinforced it, and checked for any additional leaks. The manager called to apologize and guarantee everything was properly taken care of. Thus a bit of a mess but in the long run that they were eager to fix.
