Precision Plumbing Sewer Drain Cleaning

A gas leak was recognized by nicor in the partial basement wall close to the gas line and secured our gasoline. Precision Plumbing was phoned by me and they sent Carl for the ceremony out. He was great at identifying precisely where the gas leak was coming from and helped mend it in a reasonable price. Not the cheapest compared to others but Carl did grade work as though it were his very own house. Thank you Carl for the service for immediately sending him out, and Precision!

Great company, with helpful people who do job that is good. We've used them 3 times through the years, very first time with cracked sewer pipe (from basement function ) tragedy, and they figured out exactly what no one else could. They're our company.

Today's will be the last, although we've had a great deal of unique services done by Precision. They are expensive for the work that they do.

More than the cost of every additional plumber.
They offered me over $500 to change compression fittings which require less than two minutes each.
They did not respond, when I inquired why they were so much greater.

Found and the cost was half! Reasonable!
Not delighted. Won't call again for almost any reason.
Too expensive. Small job that is easy. Didn't listen to me. My sink my house my money. Do it my way or get out.

When our drains were backing up my wife and I used Precision. They had to clear (rod) the sewer line into the road. They did a fantastic job, I thought they were pricey. We had to have yet another section of the home and we chose to go with someone because of price. The new company redid the line to the road since they were and had everything setup and also rodded a new part of the drain lines. If we had to pay one fifth of the price Precision was paid by us, I was shocked, along with the company did work! I can't recommend them since they are too pricey while Precision did work.

I called and begged for someone to show up for an appointment that they made just to get them jack up the price on what should be a $300-$600 job.
Took the morning off of work. Their technician got into a car accident that becomes my problem since they can not get out somebody until later in the day, but could not provide an exact time.
Dude tells me to clear my primary line is 1500 and shows up at 12:30. Wow. Really.
My advice would be to NOT use these guys unless you've got endless time to wait and endless money to burn.
They then said that they had been backed up and could not come until the following day between 9am & 10am and called.
So they are general dishonest and suck over cost.
They said they would be out in the day.

Let's do some math. The guy showed up, scoped the project, made an estimate, did all of the work, composed the bill, took payment and had been done and gone in about 3 hours. That's $400/hour. The guy even tells me the rate is high as they must charge for travel and a lot of other crap that is misc.

If you like an inferior product and getting ripped off, then go right ahead and give them a call otherwise keep searching. Trust me, reading this post $$$$$
I had a leaking water heater and didn't have time to shop around and get quotes so I went ahead and scheduled with this business because they had Yelp reviews and were neighborhood. The tech that showed up was considerate, did a good job, and cleaned up after the job was finished so no problems there.
Second issue with. The AMERICAN® water heater is a piece of crap. The shower and sink faucets must have the chilly water to get any water. Any higher of the water and a setting could be invisibly. I didn't have this problem with all the older water heater with any of the faucets. I think this is a problem because he told me when I do not get water to attempt turning up the temperature and the guy even knew he sells a merchandise.

I have two issues with this provider.
This was work's scope. Replace a gas water heater. This had been a 6 year warranty builder grade AMERICAN® water heater. There was some extra piping replacement, replaced pipe, shut-off valve, gas valve. All minor work I would estimate the parts at no more than $100. I was charged around $1900 complete for the occupation.
First problem is with their pricing that's ridiculously high and essentially a rip off that you will get some other quotes before choosing this 30, so that my advice is. My recommendation is to not even use this company. I knew the quote was outrageous but based on timing constraints on my end, I moved forward with the job.

Too expensive! I seemed on Angies List first thing in the morning since I needed a plumber to come out and stop the water in my bathroom. They called immediately but it took all day for them to arrive after making it seem as though they can get. The tech Davor was very polite and professional. He deserves 5 stars. He also fixed the problem. However the price of replacing the valve and shut off valve has been too costly. I might have purchased a new toilet sink and bathroom in the hardware shop.

We've used Precision Plumbing before so we were well aware of their wonderful support. The girl set the telephone period up and Billy came on time moment. We discussed the water heater had all leaked all over our basement! -therefore we had a fresh one. He travelled over all the options and we decided that he'd install thing the next day. Billy was at 8:00 on the dot! The water heater has been set up in no time whatsoever and he showed my husband and I how to relight the pilot light and also how to test for issues. Fantastic support!!

Called them out for what I believed was a pretty straightforward plumbing issue. Was professional and polite took a peek at exactly what I had going on and gave a quote to me to do the task for somewhere between $950-1000 I cant remember the exact number because I was pretty taken back on the price. I didn't need them do the job I would say a little on the side I was able to Discover a plumber

New to the market for water heaters, and this was a fantastic start. Of getting my water heater 9, the total experience was as pleasant as I could have desired. This was my very first time I had problems with my own water heater and I knew nothing. That is why I needed to proceed with a business that specialized in fixing them. Their staff member that did the fix on my water heater was favorable. He was happy, grinning and only had a personality. To top it off - their cost worked for me.

Disadvantages: oversold services we didn't need, expensive compared to others in place. 538 escape search 400 master bathroom, 860 install bathroom 1560 demolition of tub shower . All said and done, wanted about 4K for exactly what another plumber charged a couple hundred dollars for a copper joint replacement.

Pros fast support. In person existence, clear site and Fantastic telephone and total communication.

I had. Robert from Precision Plumbing Heating and Cooling has been attentive, amazingly nice, and very informative about exactly what the issue could be and what he was doing and came out.
He gave a fast diagnostic to me, gave me a price that I agreed to and must work. Everything worked great after routing the drain.
I can not say enough about how good someone Robert is. I would recommend this company to anyone needing some help with plumbing problems.

Love Precision Pipes! Plumbing problems are not fun, it is a disgusting and frustrating situation to find yourself in. If and when I do, I shall absolutely be phoning Precision while I expect to never require a plumber and that I shall continue to recommend them to friends my loved ones and acquaintances.
Richard Hertz, was my principal tech. He was professional, cleanly (that is a huge plus), as well as comprehensive. He afterwards realizing a power pole wouldn't suffice quoted and answered all of my stupid questions and scheduled a power washing of sorts for the sewer line in my house. He listened attentively to my sob story about water pouring at 2am, and offered genuine sympathy and a reasonable solution. He had been kind enough to see that our occupation through to the end.
I could not be more happy with all the services I received both Monday, 1 May 2017 3, and Wednesday .
We had Vince McKittrick for its'power washing' on Wednesday. He also was comprehensive and cleanly. He let me put watching the sewer camera, as he worked and explained every section of my piping since he travelled through it. I am sure he had other jobs today, but I never felt rushed, and he also, was very kind to answer all the stupid questions I asked.

So, it took only a little bit, but they went above and beyond to be sure I was pleased with their job. These men proved they are stand up people and businessmen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Less than two weeks check if it. Just getting that response took two calls to the price and the answering service was over the other guys charge to fix the issue. I was livid.
He delivered the technician back out the following day to redo the job free of charge.... The technician decided he needed help with the job so that he had to return two days later with a camera to examine the plumbing ( again free of charge to us).... They came out, ran a camera, also rodded out the pipes....after all the drain flows somewhat but still backs up. It was plugged and it will fill the tub once I shower but vacant of being completed, within 5 minutes.
After all the estimates were in, Precision took off and even provided to perform the job for exactly the exact same price.
I originally called Precision Plumbing to pole a drain that clogs up once a year or so.... The grease from our sink that builds up. They came out quickly, worked quickly and cleanly, and the technician was polite.... I ranked them 3 stars since they did a 5 star job but charged what our man does. ( we usually use another plumber but I mistook them in my contact list, it was late and that my tub was filling fast)
I got a follow up call apologizing they weren't able to fix the issue. At that point I agreed to call Mike back later and called a few other plumbers to have estimates on fixing.

When we moved here from Naperville we had to get a new service provider . We tried a few and have depended on Precision. As others have said, everyone, from the folks who answer the phone is polite and professional. They so are always on time and reconfirm and confirm the day and time of their appointment. They clearly explain the issue and offer multiple solutions to fix the situation. We're big fans and the reason is they could tend to be a tad high in their pricing.

Had water coming up through the drain in my basement. I had a sewer line. I predicted Precision at 9 am when the Dispatcher stated he'd at 10:30, and Robert came at my house right. Robert got right to work and clarified what he was planning to perform. He was done and that I feel that the pricing was honest! I strongly recommend.

Talked with a plumber over the weekend and he explained it was a 100.00 dollar occupation. A lot of artists in this business benefiting from seniors like this.
1 star because I have no option but their ZERO in my book!
I had a countertop installed using a new sink. Under I called Precision Plumbing and sink needed a flow after the installer left, they came out within the hour and then mended my escape.

I was billed $1,340.00 (yes you read this properly )

I couldn't recommend this company. A couple of years ago it ruined our basement and leaked. You can imagine my horror to see it leaking in a couple of years time.The substances used to substitute the sillcock had begun to float on the inside. Plumbing costs are expensive. To need to update this job in just two years time wasn't a good thing. Thank goodness it did not ruin our cellar .
