I wound up hiring them to complete my project. Called on Tuesday morning and they scheduled me for the week, Friday. Travis came calling to let me know. He put in a new seal for the toilet once I tiled the bathroom, set up on the toilet, put new closed off valves for the toilet and sink, installed my new pedestal sink, replaced some valves in the stand up shower and set up the shower trim kit I bought at Lowe's (it is cheaper to purchase your own materials and allow them be set up, otherwise the prices are marked up). Oh, since the handle on the older one was broken and he minute replaced my water faucet.
I have found my plumber that was go-to for so long as I live in Louisville.
He cleaned up after he finished and worked nonstop for almost 3 hours. He his work. What a deal!
First, they give. I understand that taking time to potentially do something that contributes to zero charge is a risk. But it's wonderful. My respect for a business increases when they provide that and I am much more likely to use their services.
Second, pricing! Travis came by last week to give a quote for the basement bathroom remodel project to me. I was blown away by just how reasonable the price was. The last time I hired a plumber, I was ripped off big time. I haven't really trusted technicians and've been hesitant ever since, but Travis was wonderful.
I am calling Travis As I said, any pipes I want later on!
Wow! Recommended from my Nextdoor Neighborhood. They came out & cleared & restored sewer which Tom Drexler tried to bilk me! Tony's price, $285. Dave & Parker friendly & really professional.
Tony's Plumming is fairly priced and amazing. They came and assested the issue. They were honest and gave great advice. Phil travis & from Tony's recommended utilizing a 50 foot snake and see if this would fix the issue where another plumming firm had come and just used a 25 ft snake. They were here under one hour and the clogged drain in addition to sured my pipes where required. The cost was very reasonable! I strongly recommend them!! They didn't attempt to sell me something which wasn't needed, unlike another plumming firm that came first. Travis has over 25 years experience. Fantastic guy.
A leaky shower faucet couldn't be repaired the day they came to the house. They were back early the next morning to complete the job and once I returned home from work that day (my husband took off work to fulfill them)I was greeted with no more escapes and a great looking new fixture. We would certainly use them again.
I'm bummed that others didn't have the exact same great experience my husband and I did with Tony's plumbing.
I am a Realtor and property supervisor and also have used Tony's Plumbing for years. They're dependable and priced fairly compared to other plumbing companies. They try and get to me same day or whenever possible, if I really have a plumbing emergency. I would recommend Tony's Plumbing to anyone. They're my go to plumber!!!
I've used them several times. If you've got a clogged drain or something fundamental I believe they are fine. I called to substitute a galvanized supply line and did not have the skill then I got a 85$ bill I did not get.
I chose to phone Tony's to fix it and to determine the source of a leak. They gave me a time window, together with the promise of a 30 second notice. When they were only 3 miles off they called. Anyway.
Upon arrival, the two plumbers knocked the snow off their boots before parading the booties I presumed these days, all plumbers wore. After cringing about wet and dirty and plumbery rug, they identified the origin of my problem to be coming and to add some caulk.
Anyway...I had been charge a service fee AND 1/2 hour labor fee when they were only in my house 12 minutes. Throughout that 12 minutes one left up the seat of the men asked to use my toilet, and failed to wash his hands.
I think the labor rate should have been prorated, or they could have worked by caulking the essential spots, not using my toilet. Unprofessional. I discover a company which expects the utmost in professionalism and will receive a 2nd opinion.
I really don't know why Tony's won many local awards and contains a great BBB score with these antics.
I requested for a quote. Waited a week or so, still hadn't heard anything, therefore followed . We received an extremely vague quote (didn't itemize labor or provides ) for approximately $3,000 to completely rip out walls and put in vented plumbing (and no drywall repair would be carried out thankyouverymuch).
If my upstairs toilet was making gurgling noises after flushing excited to have a plumber down the road from my recently purchased home, I phoned them. They brought an estimator who told us that our home plumbing wasn't vented out, a problem in Germantown.
We also called a different plumber to diagnose the toilet gurgle, and to assist us with a few new water lines in the kitchen. Another plumber easily found that our pipes was vented to make a long story short, but the vent stack was obstructed. Another plumber eliminated the clog, charged $600, and we were good to go, saving us $2400!
Because it was more than we were expecting, we decided to hold off for a little and save up because of it. While at the backyard, I see exactly what I perceive to be a plumbing vent stack protruding our pipes wasn't vented.
I can't suggest a plumber who takes $3000 on work, if there was a stack to begin 29, without going outside to peek!
