We have had them out to our house more times than I could count (thank you for my previous house and old plumbing ). Every time they come they are informative, quick and professional. They are those we predict when we I highly recommend and have a plumbing emergency.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Our yard has been an absolute eyesore for 6 weeks now. It's an utter disaster and humiliation. You can not you haven't been warned.

They left the yard in upheaval that was complete, looking as though a body was buried there. They promised to return to grade the yard and plant bud.
We have been calling to inquire when they will be out to repair it, and every time, the woman answering the phones, informs us in a discourteous tone which we're on a list. Every time, she claims not to be in possession of this list, and cannot tell us when it'll be fixed.

We have had two distinct experiences for this company.
In the winter, our service pipes that were polybutalene needed repair because it had burst. Ken Griffin Co. came out fast to evaluate the circumstance, made capable recommendations, and subsequently fixed the plumbing. They needed to cut drywall in the house. They also did an excellent job, and arrived back over a week to repair it.
We've used Ken Griffin Plumbing Services many times within the previous twenty decades and have spent tens of thousands of dollars on their pipes solutions. We'd definitely consider ourselves loyal clients. That's why I was frustrated when we predicted Ken Griffin Plumbing Services this morning (about 8/8:30'm ) and the secretary, Kathy Griffin, was rude, dismissive, and slammed down the phone once we called for help. There is no need to be rude and unprofessional about it, although I totally understand there are limits to what technicians can perform. Kathy could have told us that Ken Griffin Plumbing Services couldn't do the job, but instead she used her nastiest, condescending tone and slammed down the phone as hard as she could to hang up. We are no longer calling Ken Griffin Plumbing Services for our pipes needs any longer.

I hired Ken Griffin Plumbing as recommended by Fireside Patio for installation of a gas line. Great service from start to finish. The consultation comprised an onsite trip that provided two options to run the line in addition to a recommendation to find the gas meter. The installation went even better. Everything and A year later is working good!!
Ken griffin pipes is your very best. I'm a facilities manager for a school. Ken griffin by far among the best builders I deal with. Fast perform cost. Ken is a really nice man. The woman's at the office are very very nice. I highly recommend Ken Griffin Plumbing Services.

N/A No Remark re: Ken Griffin. I was asked to take down it. When you hire a plumber, use caution. It's very important to do your homework re: the companies.
I hired Ken Griffin Plumbing for projects between 2009 and 2016. Their work was consistently solid. They were answered them completely and always open to questions. They were my go-to for pipes. But I've stopped hiring them, despite their good work, because it became hard to arrange projects with them. I explained the needed work and called. At their request, I sent them images. I waited a week but didn't hear back. I called again. They guaranteed to follow up over 1 day and apologized for the delay. I then called again and waited two or three days. And so on - just improvement was being made within several weeks. I started looking for a plumbing service which not only did good work but also had customer services.
I'm rather surprised of this business that is conducted at Ken Griffin Plumbing. I called in to have a toilet possibly tightened and they said it was not a problem. A day later they called back and said it'd be a minimal $450 just to see if they were working correctly (tightened). Ken Griffin came back and altered what they said they'd do after signing a contract with my own possible client. So frustrating, this is bad business!
We had Ken Griffin Plumbing fix a busted hose bib that was hard to access. We can't say enough about how thorough and that the plumber. He did a fix that was wonderful and went above. Highly recommend!
I'm in awe of the service I got from Ken Griffin and his team. My water heater went up now, and Ken and his team replaced it in record time. The office staff was amazingly kind and helpful.
AMAZING ! I had been thrilled with the support I received from Ken Griffin Plumbing. I had heard great things from this company but never experienced until today. I own a company and my hot water heater went up. Kathy and I talked and she'd Ken come out to find out what I needed. She coordinated the program and George came to save. I can't be more pleased. Thank you so much.
Two weeks. I call. They've no collection of work. Can I tell them again what it was I needed? The list contained about 15 jobs. But none of it rang some bells.
There's more, but you get a timewaster the gist, and at least 2 individuals there will flat out lie to you.
I asked if they'd send someone to start over. (I know, stupid of me, however their standing - previously - was strong and they had done some good work, therefore - a second chance.)
Like a lot of others who've reviewed them: had them perform a couple of little tasks - put in a bathroom, put in a closed, etc. - and all went well. Had them look at doing the remainder of the gathered plumbing work... they took pics, composed details, assured me I'd hear from them in a week.
They told me they'd have someone.
I call, three weeks. They apologize profusely, that day, and tell me my quote went out.
I suggest you stay away from the company to your own sanity.
Let me make it clear, this review is towards the capacity of Kathy Griffin. I had a leak in my house, which Ken Griffin pipes opened my wall up for repairs and came. I was told someone could contact me to schedule an appointment to patch the wall, I waited and nobody called me.
Typically, I really don't like to write review and bad mouth a company based on my view. But I am going to make an expectation for Ken Griffin Plumbing.
Ask for a consultation and I finally chose to call Ken Griffin pipes. Kathy Griffin asked me to send her a movie where the repairs are needed by me, then promised to call me afterwards. Three weeks went by, and nobody called. I had been dumb enough to call them last week, and it is the exact same old story tomorrow that I'll get back to you.
Re: WATER HEATERS their own water heater guy said we'd have to reconstruct the closet completely. This is our water heater in 25 decades, the other two firms installed without mentioning our closet being an issue! This is only one of those problems that I mentioned to Kathy and she requested me to provide photos and info on this (I needed KG providers but obliged her). Part of her email manifesto she wrote"your water heater is a cheap one and will fail soon." LOL!! See other reviews, you may end up wasting your time.
Weird, weird, bizarre situation. Their technicians are fairly good I had some fantastic service calls initially. Prices started good but then jumped up! But then service obtained really hit or miss. I really don't require a reduction, it is only that if I take work off, I just want stuff done completely. Kathy is the boss and she requested me to take photos and email them so I tried to send details, took time and did. Then I obtained a ginormous email outlining what they'd done at our house using"so that you see we've been good to you." Apparently it is acceptable to fix things some of the time when items are NOT fixed completely and that should cover? The end of the email stated she was an instructor and it was a"teachable moment" For me personally. I didn't request to get educated on pipes, '' I wanted stuff fixed.
Blowing off your satisfied customers over charges is a lousy business model - avert Ken Griffin Plumbing.
Good plumbers who communicate well and provide great benefits, BUT...
After being a customer for 2 years with numerous service requirements and jobs Ken Griffin Plumbing surprised me by charging more than twice their price for materials they acquired during a project (they understood they were needed but forgot to deliver them). I contacted the vendor where they bought the materials and confirmed the cost was less than half of what Ken Griffin billed me.
I thought the issue would be resolved by a fast conversation and that they would issue a refund. Rather, they denied , and dismissed telephone messages and emails asking a discussion of this issue with the owner of the business enterprise.
I called a few weeks later to follow up once again and the telephone was answered by somebody else. He took my number amd stated he'd ask and call me back. He did call back a few minutes later and informed me that there wasn't any video of my sewer. He suggested that this is somethint until they performed the camera inspection on the 22, I would have needed to request. I could understand that EXCEPT. . .why was I confident if it never existed in the first place my video will be in the email? If I desired it, they never told me the camera's day that I had the choice of a video to get an extra $15. Based on the response I got when I called the following day to ask if they had the video and could please send me it, I'd no reason to believe this was not a practice that is typical. I would have gladly paid the 15 had they mentioned it. Furthermore, follow up THREE days before being told there wasn't any video and then I needed to call. Why was I continued to be confident if it existed in the first place that my video was in the email.
He was very apologetic and I expressed my dissatisfaction and recognized my own disappointment with the company. He stated he wished there was something he can do and profusely apologized.
I had a baby shortlt later this and was not able to call and then follow up right away. When I did call to ask concerning the flash drive, I was told that they would assess and certainly drop it in the mail. Again, the flash drive never came.
I called Ken Griffin plumbing on the recommendation of my regular technicians that were closed over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Long story they used a camera to video my sewer line. I asked if I could get a copy of the video and called the following day. I was told after that day they'd put a flash drive from the email. The woman confirmed my address and that I was satisfied. The flash drive never came.
Later that day I got a voice mail from Kathy Griffin offering to come video the line again as an apology for the entire incident. I called her first thing the next morning schedule a visit and to take the deal. It was very cold out and they were active with pipe emergencies. . .which I TOTALLY recognized. I was told that they would call me back this the next day or evening to schedule something. That was over a week ago. I never got another call. I'm becoming tired of following up with this business for every little thing. They have not followed through again and also made me an offer to try and improve my opinion of the business. They will definitely not be getting repeat business and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone else looking for a plumber. Its a shame because the plumbers clarified my plumbing problems to me and were friendly.
