I finally called Midway Sewer on Saturday after our Friday night meal cleanup turned to Noah's Ark style flooding in the basement laundry 30, after realizing I had been outmatched. Luckily my wife is smart about those things and needed me inquire if there is a weekend rate and a weekday speed (there was, about the order of $20-30 difference), therefore, because our was a non-emergency we had them come out on Monday.
Once I informed him we were having some plumbing problems with our kitchen sink and cellar utility sink this place came highly recommended. The drain shared with the kitchen and utility sink was backed up somewhere causing water to fill up and pour across the utility sink as well as back up into the kitchen. Subscribing to the opinion that when the women do not find you handsome, they should at least find you handy, I tried drano, snaking the drain myself, plunging, etc.. Nothing worked...
Anyway, I don't write a lot of Yelp testimonials, but I believed that these folks deserve some recognition. My coworker had high praise for this business, I know.
The plumber (Ron) was polite, punctual, and fixed the issue completely. . Because it had been covered with all the the plumber scrubbed down the whole utility sink and laundry room floor. By the time he was finished that the area was cleaner than before the flood! I could not bring myself to do it, although I wanted to take credit for the cleanup myself when my wife asked.
Recommended as a"before we dig up your lawn" after another company failed to clean the lateral to the street in THREE attempts, Midway came out and cleared it in 1 shot. No $15K lawn dig. Folks, too! Call these guys.
Recommended to me from a buddy with a company in St. Paul I decided to give them a go. I had no chance and had attempted snaking the drain with a massive commercial grade rental. I then hired among the"big names" and the drain functioned for less than a week-bummer. I then got these guys in"Scott" was our tech. He was super talented, individual and proficient. He got it clean and functioning. Would recommend to anyone.
For what I thought was a sewage issue, I called them. They have been superb responsive, on time and friendly. The man came to my home and scrutinized my escape. He advised me that some of my pipes were leaking and that I would need to contact a plumber (he referred a couple to me personally ). He did not charge me for my service call.
