Accurate Plumbing & Heating

I discovered ACCURATE Plumbing and log onto the plumber council sites. Called them, got Walter who promised me someone will be there regardless of the time talking and Jeff called and was on his way. 30 mins after - Jeff was hard at work rodding the way to the main line and the water went down and we are back to flushing. It was nice he got frustrated or never complained. I was stressed enough!
Sure it will not guarantee his work or costs a little more than a non union plumber who might not understand what he's doing but I understand the work got done right and they stand behind it. #professionals
My troubles started early Tuesday morning, smelling something horrible, seeing my cellar was flooded only to discover my sump engine was busted and our dirt pile was backed up. Yep, when our toilets were flushed by us the water came up through our floor drains as it seeped up through the drain tiles. ugh.
Union plumbers are only used by us. Water is.

The sump was basement system plus they got to us eventually to replace the engine - but they told us our dirt stack needed rodding. Our neighborhood union plumber and great 5p was reserved till Thursday- no crisis support?! AND would not recommend anyone!!! Not return to FettesLoveSieben...

The superstars of Technicians on the Northwest Side. Accurate has been around for at least 25 years that I am aware of. I am surprised they don't have more testimonials. As a tradeswoman, 32 years as an IBEW electrician, I'd dismiss the one star review they obtained. A gas pipe roughed into a faucet? Impossible. These are independently derived systems by code and the color of this pipe and threading arrangement is dissimilar. Additionally installing a faucet doesn't necessitate opening a wall.
Our condominium association used Accurate for years while we were managed. Every job was handled with the utmost caution and technical experience which I respected as a fellow transactions individual. Standard sump pumps were installed by them and updated our lines.
Experienced plumbers uphold the standards of Chicago's Plumbers Council. They served as a four year apprenticeship, under the tutelage of professionals within their industry and are Union members. These are the people that you call Should you will need also the reassurance of having your plumbing tasks done correctly and experience.
I have had Accurate do nearly all of my pipes work in my condominium. Never experienced any issues because of one of their installations. I called at 9 am to find a faucet this morning. Walt came over within one hour and the project was finished before noon. It was a centerset bathroom fixture using a pop up drain. Walt went the extra step of making sure the caulk and gunk was cleaned off the vanity top--when he has done, it seemed factory. Jobsite was cleaned and the fixture and debris was eliminated. He made sure to provide me the paperwork from the installation to contact my product to be registered by Moen and to keep to my records.
We hired a control group and they brought in their own people. 1 plumber that they got straight off the boat caused a backup. Water is quite unforgiving, you want to hire people that are great to perform your plumbing work.

Not long after moving into a new residence, we had water bubbling through the door frame, and down the hallway upstairs. Accurate correctly diagnosed it was an A/C condensation pipe that caused it. They were subsequently able to program someone to come find the root cause sooner than other plumbers. (Turns out a Freedom Heating & Cooling technician inadvertently kicked off a pipe loose while rummaging through the attic to repair our broken A/C a few days prior). Problem solved, and we were hooked by Walt at Accurate up with Chicago Water and Fire Restoration, who did a wonderful job fixing the affected regions.
Then again a few months after that to get a sump pump. Turns out our room is full of things not up to code that the home inspector did not catch. Just like PVC encased in a tonne of concrete. His associate and walt worked in the rain for several hours, performing forensics to demystify our Frankenplumbing, and installing a backup sump pump. He was patient enough to explain everything in lay-terms, made sure I understood what to look out for in the future, made ideas for a home generator to power the pumps, and provided low-cost alternatives for plumbing renovations.
Maybe the reviewers got the B-team? Or maybe Accurate changed chefs sooner or later? Whatever. Based on my experience, I can recommend without hesitation.
Another call per month for two sinks. Fast, friendly, really enlightening.

I had a leak in my bath tub faucet. A plumber arrived and said he'd tools to repair it in his truck. Didn' t understand until time ago and the water pressure was so poor, I got many quotes and they have been horrified and told me that petrol Plumbing were screwed in my faucet. This isn't up to code and I have to pay a great deal of money to get this fixed. Very unprofessional.

Not sure no testimonials from Accurate Plumbing for Michael. He moved beyond the call of duty to receive my inoperational toilet working again by. Michael is the most professional, hardest working, reasonable and honest plumber round this firm is the real deal vs. most plumbing firms out there.
