We had a backup at our home and they came out and took care of the issue immediately. As we're out of state landlords I was to cover over the telephone. Next 10, will be calling to our yearly roto root.

- Do not know they needed to get a permit
- Only did half the job (I only discovered this after another plumber looked in their job )
- Do not expect them to honor their guarantees
- Get everything in writing
This was. If you do end up hiring them, here Are a Few Tips:
- Charged our credit card for a subscription (therefore it will charge every year)
- Call your town to Discover if the work needs a license
- Hire a firm to inspect their job
- without even telling us Moved the appointment
I'll spare you the essay. This is exactly what they did to us:
- Lied about the work they would do
- Call the week before and the day

Had a sewer scope and rooting done by AJ with Afford-A-Rooter. He was professional, polite and paid good attention to protecting the carpeting and walls enclosing the clean out. Reasonably priced and able to schedule appointments quickly.

I like these men, and yet they have not completed any plumbing work for me. What? They came out after to clear the outside sewer line, but I could not find the access due to it was covered in vegetation. No charge, and then he came back when it had been located by me. He checked the lineup and it was not clogged. No charge... just an interior blocked lineup, and he explained why other issues were causing our other issues. You bet I will call them . You don't often find honesty just like that.

###CAUTION### Be careful when using this service. I experienced problems when selecting them for a sewer wash and scope. Something which any sewer specialist can provide for much less than they charged. $410 not to clean the line and also suggest digging lawn up to install $2500 clean workouts even though there was a sewage accessibility from the crawl space. Another sewer company came along and did the occupation charging me much less compared to $410 these clowns charged me (even though they didnt do the job, and wanted another 2500 to try the job ). Eclipse Plumbing, Apex, Better Sewer, 101 Plumbing any of these will do an expert job at rate than these chuckleheads. If that isnt enough, their techs appear hours before or after the window. Or , as it took 2 attempts to find someone out to charge me 400+ to do so.

Luis was one if not the finest people we've dealt with. He didn't wake the infant, quickly and quietly came to our home and solved our plumbing issues and straight back up. He's among the most stand up gentleman I have had the pleasure of dealing with let be great at what he can!! I recommend this place to anyone I know!
To start with, I called several different plumbing firm's and was overwhelmed not wanting to take care of my hard plumping issues as well as straight bullying to take on their company. After reading reviews, I phoned very upset and front desk lady was extremely sympathetic to my struggles, and stated she'd send her very best guy out... Luis.

Owner is fantastic Stand up guy. We had a plumbing issue that has been getting out of the owner cane and hand to save the day!

After trying a particular $95 sewer line special from a specific group of"other guys", being advised I would want to spend an additional $240 to get a video scope, and was probably on the hook for a complete sewer line replacement, I climbed somewhat weary of what they were selling (particularly after visiting Yelp, albeit after committing them $95). Thankfully a good friend directed me to AJ in Afford-a-Rooter. He showed me that, despite their previous bungling, the"other guys" was able to clear what seems to have turned into a one-time congestion, which our lineup (though old) was flowing to the town sewer just fine. The additional expense, which was half of"other guys", was well worth the peace of mind that led and finally confirmed my earlier feelings of the"other guys".
AJ is a life- (and holiday!) saver.
Now, those decisions just got a bit easier. AJ, thanks.

Jason also did an outstanding job, got the sewer flowing again and came out on a Sunday!

These guys were unbelievable. He explained everything, and trevor was great to work with to do my quote and answered my queries. Originally I had an estimate from Earth Pipes and it felt like I had been treated"like a girl". Trevor and his group were polite, respectful and helped some heavy boxes move to the garage. They arrived on time, were sort and great with my neighbors working to move their cars for the excavation work. At the end they ended an hour ahead of schedule. Professional from begin to finish. I'm overjoyed at my sewer lines that are new and not needing to be worried about tree roots and blockages ! Highly recommended.

I used afford a rooter now and AJ was a really wonderful man and did an excellent job cleaning a mainline within my house. My one star fall is due to the fairly high cost because of how the clean outs are in a crawl space. I know it costs more, but it had been near double their regular charge of $99. To be fair I think her name was Sue reported the starting speed for a crawl space was 147.50 and that I thought that was fair. When AJ got here he added another $40.00 to the bill. We've had it done a few times over the last few years and it feels like it was generally an additional $50.00 or so. It is a fairly tall crawl space based on the other men that arrived before. That is my problem and I will be adding clean outs in the front yard this summer so that I can start getting the$99 cleanings.I would recommend them to anyone and I will be using them again.

Trevor strives to make clients happy, has his Master Plumber license with the State of Colorado, and is quite knowledgeable concerning the plumbing business. Afford A Rooter, he and his company, possess an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Trevor offered advice to me concerning a plumbing repair which I wanted, and helped me to avoid more of a plumbing crisis because I'd hired someone to finish plumbing repairs who was not a certified plumber like Trevor, than I already had. I value efforts, and Trevor's professionalism, honesty to ensure that I didn't pay an exorbitant quantity of money to finish the repairs, and that the repairs of my house sewer line had been completed in accordance with code. Thank you, Trevor!

BEWARE!!!!Lesson #3: Always get MULTIPLE evaluations and bids when it seems like you need a repair. We have bids ranging from $ before sending the video into the town
Good luck!
From what I have learned from speaking and exploring to a handful of companies is that our expertise is not rare. .
He wrote me an estimate of $8,500 to correct the gap, the tap, and also to perform a"pipe bursting" (aka"trenchless") full replacement of our clay pipe together with new PVC pipe.
Lesson #2: For your sewer scope, always hire a company that ONLY does sewer scopes (or that does scopes and cleaning) but NOT sewer fixes, too - this way they don't have (direct) incentive to tell you something's wrong as it isn't.
When I hired another firm to perform a pipe cleaning, their technician saw the Afford A Rooter video and told me the"gap" was not really a gap at all!! It was a difficult piece that's often used to connect the PVC into the clay pipe. That is it. No gap.
He also explained that there was a big gap in between where the house PVC pipe should connect into the clay pipe just outside the house and that sewage had been pooling in that gap (right close to our base ) therefore we needed to fix that asap also.
In summary, I hired them to perform a sewer scope. I watched with their technician as he slipped the camera line in. He explained to me that each place where our original clay pipe pieces connect and are offset a bit seem"really awful" and that because of that our whole pipe, moving from the house to the city main point in the street, needed to be replaced.
So in the end, Afford A Rooter attempted to screw us out of $8,500!!!! And the town and Google saved us.
So I chose to write this review to assist notify and warn others.
Fortunately, after Googling and informing myself online, I discovered a 2013 neighborhood news report (link below) stating that the town will watch your sewer range video for free if you get them so as to give you another opinion. The city employee told me our plumbing are just fine after watching the Afford A Rooter video I delivered her. JUST FINE!!!! WOW!!!! The offsets in the clay pipe links, she explained, are *supposed* to be counter like that (it leaves the pipes more resilient to motion ). Had the connections been offset *too which could be a problem. Nevertheless, they were not; they were offset the right amount.
Here's the URL to the Neighborhood CBS4 news article that tells you how to get hold of the town for them Provide another opinion in your own sewer range video to you and also to watch:
Eventually, he told us there was a faucet fracture where our line connects into the town main line.
In a nutshell, the city employee told us we should do a cleaning each couple of years and that so long as we did that the pipes should continue long.
NOT ONE of these things proven to be authentic as it occurs
They attempted to bilk $ 8,500 from us for substituting sewer pipes which are really 100% nice!!! lied to us

Lesson #1: Always have your sewer range video is double-checked by the town in case the firm which makes your video tells you that you have an problem.

Employ this provider ONLY in the event that you would like to risk being hauled over.
She also watched a scope she could tell that the tap link wasn't an issue they had on record of the main line and, by their vantage. (In fairness, this one could maybe have appeared like a legitimate issue when viewed from a camera running down our house pipe, so it's possible Afford A Rooter was being honest in their assessment with this one, but who knows).

After several companies tried to pressure us into doing the replacement instantly and gave large estimates for a sewer line replacement to us, we luckily found Afford A Rooter. This company provided a more reasonable estimate to us and accommodated our schedule. Replacing a sewer line can be stressful, but Trevor and his staff made this process understandable and easy. The group who did the work was great and friendly, and they place back our yard together wonderfully too.

Great service, specialist and very fast, and, like the name implies, cheap! Came out to look in a significant basement water issue exceptionally quickly and came with a quote almost half of the former quote. They scheduled the job for a Saturday!! When I needed to work through a couple of matters with insurance, 21, office staff was really helpful to me. Highly recommend!

These guys AWESOME! Great same-day service and a first time customer discount to boot! Their pricing has been competitive. Louis was quick, courteous and gave excellent customer service! Can I use them again? No question. . .yes!

Trevor and the guys did an incredible job. I had been pulled and then posted with scheduling got and license the work. They could not have been nicer to my loved ones along with me and were cautious with my lawn. Left the street and my lawn pristine. GREAT JOB GUYS! THANKS! Mark

I wanted to write a review. So that is a step up understanding they monitor client feedback.

Afford A Rooter is the best!! I am overlook our twice annually visits to clean my sewer line. Now they fixed themselves right. I was given a new sewer line in less then a day by trevor and my yard was amazing after. Because friend sure you and the crew.
