There was a lot of work to be done over several days the men were on time, kept the region isolated and safe for our tenants, and kept us informed of all the work they needed to execute. I don't know how much that saved usbecause we need to be replaced, and expected the flooring to be soaked. Ready for repairs and The two Francisco worked to get our kitchen dried up, always keeping out tenant's safety a top concern, while enabling me move appliances so they could still have use of items such as more compact appliances, microwave oven and the fridge. I know it was tough for our tenants residing there, while keeping the area safe for children and a puppy however we made it as possible. This was pretty big endeavor, and we are very happy that the these men were our remediation team, and I hope Bill Howe gets these guys a raise, gain sharing or whatever they need, because this really is my go to company for anything water related!
Throughout the Labor Day holiday weekend, we had a kitchen flooding which not only damaged the kitchen, but also leaked through two walls, and poured to the out side of the house. This is our house, so when they found the leak by the time we are called by our tenants and we responded to find out how big the leak was and if we could stop it, and slow down the damage.
We called a couple of plumbing support because we had a house warrantee company, but it had been apparent when the first plumber arrived that he wasn't going to be able to deal with this call.
Francisco, and Juan was our remediation and demo team, and these men were exceptionally professional, guiding us through the trenches which were once our walls.
All I can say, is I am very impressed.
Thanks to Juan and Francisco, you guys do job, and I love it!!
This was truly an underestimation, I had been skeptical, but if we saw our investment house getting soggy, the call was made by us. I've already written an overview regarding the Plumber that we got with Bill Howe, He was superb! See my prior review of Mike from Bill Howe, however once the water is stopped, along with the piped are shut off, what can you do about all the soggy carpet, walls, floors, and cabinets... Nicely in he humidity of Summer in San Diego, only opening the windows and letting the sun dry up it isn't a sensible option, its not going to work. When the plumber was completed, a remediation team arrived, and there then cut out exactly what can not be dried out, and job is to locate all of the locations that are moist, such as drywall, that particle board within kitchen cabinets. . .that's correct, they might appear fancy on the outside, but chances are that the box pieces are pressed then, and wood which can absorb water like a spong forever be deformed.

PS Mauricio fixed a pipe for us. My buddy repeatedly asked for a receipt but didn't get you, causing my buddy to think some kind of side hustle was going on.
We got an estimate This past year. I informed him that my buddy was really hands on and pulls the licenses himself. While working with Mauricio it had been done by him before. The guy explained,"if he's that type of guy, we don't need your company" and left me with a quote. My buddy said the estimate was high to put in a new heater--five grand. I named the company. I told him that my buddy, who has owned properties for decades, had appeared up the price of the heater and that Bill Howe would pay only $600 for the device. I inquired if he can work on the cost for your work with us. He gave me a rundown on overhead and fumed. He explained that it was an old estimate and that this season, the work will cost $6,000 because of tariffs. How stupid the owners are to permit a manager. They need us if we dont know what is currently going on.

I attribute this to the fact our job was transferred upon the calendar, although the proposal and cost estimate was somewhat slow in coming.
We had to unclog the backup, a back up within our lateral sewer drain system which generated a first visit by Roberto from BHP. The line clearing revealed signs of root intrusion. Find the intrusions for additional analysis and also this was followed a couple of days later with a visit from Roberto to movie the affected areas
To discuss what my options were to corrective actions and the analysis and the costs involved. I agreed to lining two parts of my lateral system (about 51 ft ) as this meant I would not need to dig up my patio, pond, and landscaping to replace the cast iron with ABS. The project was then placed on the BHP schedule.
We were leaving town and to my surprise, a document that introduced the project to the last inspection video had been emailed by Jessica.
We are highly satisfied with respect and the professionalism which was demonstrated by BHP staff during this stress situation.
James and mel arrived to start the three day procedure for cleaning the existing cast iron pipe and lining the two influenced segments one at a time. James and mel were working in completing the job, and proficient. Mel, the direct technician, did an excellent job of reviewing the scope of work keeping us informed regarding the progress, when we can use the neural system of the job, and explaining the warranty. Additionally, he provided a flash drive with movie showing the before and then has been narrated covering the job.

I discovered another plumber near our house, who was open on Sunday. Because the control box on the water heater did not seem to have gotten wet, I asked him whether it might be possible to save the water heater by repairing the dripping water issue and drying out the small quantity of water that was puddled in the catch pan. Eliminate the pump and he said that it might work, and consented to come to our house.
The plumber called us back in a few minutes. He was considerate and friendly. With his help on the phone, I discovered that the alarm came out of a simple electronic flood sensor. The alarm stopped, As soon as I picked up the sensor. (The sensor includes a Bill Howe logo printed onto its side) There was a small amount of water pooled up at the bottom of the water heater in the catch pan.
I found it troubling that Bill Howe Plumbing made a decision to refuse to serve us just as soon as they became aware that a failed pump caused our problem that they had set up. I have a feeling that they were trying to avoid liability. A plumber on site could have easily determined that the water heater was OK and did not need to be replaced.
Water within a Saturday night stopped, so we had no hot water on Sunday afternoon, 9/22/2019. I noticed a loud high-pitched alarm, and went to explore. We called Bill Howe Plumbing and inquired if we could get an emergency visit. Made notice of the address and my wife's name. She stated she would page an plumber.
The plumber said he'd call back with a quote. But when he predicted several minutes afterwards, he advised us that someone in the company office directed him to not come to our house or provide any support. He apologized but said he couldn't explain why he was forbidden to do the job.
The plumber said that the water heater was"flooded out", and that if we can get it declared the warranty would be void, so he said it would have to be replaced. I was asked by him for the date and number. I retrieved that information from the rating plate and got a flashlight. I discovered that the water came out of your leaking Grundfos water recirculating pump over the water heater, also advised the plumber of my monitoring.
I place a cup under the pump to catch the drips, and dried up the water at the catch pan. Our pipes arrived, the water heater ran . He said that he did not feel a pump was either needed or appropriate for our residence.
2. Configured the pump to turn on and off at 15-minute intervals for the majority of the day, which is inconsistent with pump surgeries : Normally at a house when water use is anticipated they are configured to operate. I am attaching a photo of the failed pump revealing the timer was configured. The plumber who fixed our problem stated without saving water that was much that setup would utilize an amount of power.
We gave Bill Howe Plumbing a chance. Fortunately there was no damage, just a failed pump that was beyond its 2-year guarantee. But this experience has taught me that Bill Howe Plumbing is not a company I can trust. Rather I am giving the company two stars due to the helpful and friendly attitude of the folks we talked with, and also the fact that the water heater that they set up in 2017 was set up correctly. I think that the problem we experienced has to do with the company's management instead of workers.
3. Refused to back up their work.
1. Convinced a widow who was living alone to buy a recirculating pump system that was retrofit that she may not have wanted - They advised her that it was required without needing any measurements to confirm that the 50-foot threshold was exceeded by her plumbing.
My wife explained pump and that the water heater had been set up by Bill Howe Plumbing shortly before we started dating in September 2017. (We got married in November 2018.) She stated that Bill Howe Plumbing told her that the pump retrofit system was legally required.

I had the experience once I called Bill Howe. A young girls called Emie answered the phone. Emie
Was knowledgeable, outgoing, and friendly. This is the very best customer service I've had in a long time. Emie is a fantastic advantage to Bill Howe's company.

Just wanted to stop by and say THANK YOU to Elizabeth, Jaime, Syddell and Tom who went above and beyond to help me get a few paperwork/permits that are important to the HOA of one of the properties that we manage. They had replaced the water heater and the HOA requested we send them any paperwork or we'd get fined. These men were super fast in helping me get what I wanted. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend Bill Howe, also will use their services if desired. We needed to call on a Friday, as it's poor and unexpected timing. Adam Williams arrived at the house and was able to take care of the plumbing problems which were a concern. He was reassuring and so professional the problems would be solved and they were.
Thank you to your reassurance and fantastic work!

I'd, if I could give half a star! Used Bill Howe many times, and the previous time was the moment! To start with, not all of the technicians that they ship out are friendly or professional. And most importantly, the tech said he needed to go back and find another size, explained this to me and brought the wrong size of drain cover for my bathtub. He came back, left and then told me he grabbed the size that was wrong once again, and had to go back a second time! I inquired why he did not only bring both sizes with him the second time?! He left, when he billed me when the job took less than 10 minutes he billed me for three hours came back! That I eventually paid for 3 hours of errors and we argued about and him driving back and forth! I called the company and the manger was unapologetic and smug. I won't ever use them and won't ever refer them!

In addition, the frequent plumbing parts were marked up too over full retail prices. When I challenged this and asked to get a detailed breakdown of the parts and costs, I obtained a credit up.
When I asked for the labor, the Bill Howe Plumbing Operations representative promised to possess Accounting folks credit me for 1/2 hour. (Remember, hourly rate is $169 for a plumber, therefore this really is a significant price ).
On a positive note: The workmanship was fine and Jaime, the Operations customer support representative, was very receptive to my concerns.
Though he had already researched the real job the week before and knew exactly what he desired, the plumber"forgot" to bring the needed parts with him.
N.b. I did give BHP a chance to assess and respond to my comments before submitting this review. Seems only fair to let a seller tell their side of the story!
I will give Jaime a"Five" star for'making it right' and the plumber that a"One" star for cushioning his hours and materials (typical: three overall score)
Bottom line upfront: Bill Howe Plumbing (BHP) overcharged for real labor and stuff until I challenged.
The work site was left by the plumber for an hour but charged me an hour of labor.
****Beware. Beware. Beware. ****

I came home from work on a Friday to find my washing machine hose spewing water along with my kitchen spout completely backed up. This was an ugly sight. I instantly called Bill Howe and was treated immediately and courteously from the responding service. She discovered someone in the area who may be at my house, Though it was after hours. The plumber came within the hour that was designated and called me almost immediately. The cost was fair, although an overtime cost. He had the problem resolved within half an hour. Nothing but 5 stars for this team. I will recommend Bill Howe enthusiastically.

Enjoy a great experience with those guys. Howe was predicted by us after having problems with my HOAs plumber. Only a shower drain issue, so that they were over by the first part of that window, and confirmed an window within an hour. The guy then snaked it clear within 10 mins and tested the drain. Also comes with a 30 day guarantee when it backs up. Reasonably priced too!

We've had Bill Howe come out for plumbing issues that were different at out home and each time that the gentleman have been helpful so kind and knowledgeable about how to fix our issues. So they can complete the job they have fixed all our issues and go to pick up parts. We are 100% with all the service Bill Howe employees supply. Thank you Mikey and Rodrigo!

Wonderful SERVICE! Seriously, top of the line service! Highly recommend them.
I began by conversing with someone to see if they can clean the main line through the roof at our house. They stated they would contact me after sharing my information. I thought,"Well, I will give them till tomorrow". 15 minutes later I received a call with a quote and I just got lucky but I had a tech at my house.
Huge praise our tech, to Brandon. He FIXED IT, courteous, clarified the issue, and was right on time!

The defender seems to be about $80 online, therefore that I paid too much, but he did a great job and was very comprehensive. They do possess a markup and they're a service company.
The bill for the two items was about $467 with tax.
I look forward to doing business with them later on. I recommend Matt and Bill Howe.
There is a reason and a few competitors have a much lower rating.
they have a loyal customer and I appreciated the honesty and they will be the very first one I 28, once I am prepared to buy units.
He also mentioned that I should find a better alert, so I purchased a nice Defender CA6150 Carbon Monoxide Detector from himabout $179. He also installed it in about 5 minutes.
I called to schedule an appointment, and that I asked for a favor to waive the inspection fees because I paid $174 from a rival and I had been only trying to find a 2nd opinion and'd like to give them a opportunity to win my company.
He told me about a few choices and to switch grade filter which I'll do.
This was a difference from the 1700 a rival quoted, for items, that were not needed. I am so happy I called to have a 2nd opinion.
They give me a quote on repairs and units, as a 1 time courtesy to attempt to win my business and said they'd waive the roughly $160 fee to come inspect both units. That was important and made them seem trustworthy from the beginning.
He said that when I am ready to buy units that they will employ the $467 I spent on repairs involving the units. That was a nice touch! He did not have to offer you that.
I'm a major fan! Particularly after the experience I had the week with a rival.
He agree that the capacitor / motor assist was that the only thing desired, about $ 288, did a few tests and gave me his honest opinion. He laughed at the other $1400. Saying that I had been upsold and talked in to buying new units rather than squandering $1700 on units.
He arrived within the support window. He was friendly and professional. We scrutinized the furnace after which he asked to see what things the competitor recommended.
Matt known as a little while before the ceremony window, to say that he had been on his way, and we had a discussion about what the competitor had done before.

After seeing their advertisements I decided to provide Bill Howe Plumbing a telephone. I am glad I did!!! I had a solar water storage system, 2 problems that I wanted removed and the other issue was the warm water was crossing into my cold water . I was not able to get cold (not ice cold, just cold) water at any of my faucets. The water appeared to be emptied. Well, bring in the pros, John F. and Tom, and voila all is how it ought to be. A big THANK YOU to Bill Howe Plumbing!!!!

Bill Howe was upfront about the flow between my house along with my own water meter. They provided feedback which led me to go in the conclusion together. I ended up doing all the excavating and searching for the flow myself, and Bill Howe's plumber fixed the flow in a few hours. This really is a licensed, insured company instead of a 1 man show although their price was a little more than a neighborhood irrigation expert.

The company gets 5 stars also. (A big plus on the planet.) The company has excelled in customer service and has stood at all times behind its work.
The overworked HVAC scheduler on Friday, 8/30, however, was another story. She has 1 star. Her reply was ridiculous. She refused to schedule me ASAP even though my own AC unit had been worked in by a company tech . She scheduled me out, on Wednesday following the holiday weekend. (BTW, before this NOTHING was wrong with the AC. I just wanted to ensure all was well. Tech advised the capacitor was getting to end of its life, and so I consented to get it replaced.) Wednesday was when they were piling all orders! Excuse me? My support and your work must take some kind of priority . Bad enterprise. If it had not have been for Syddell this morning I would have chosen never to go back to Howe. Now, my trust is restored. Again, Syddell, thanks!
These 5 stars are for SYDDELL, who extended herself and graciously got me on the schedule during a hot, Labor Day weekend! Notice you are in possession of a employee I hope you benefit and love.

This ensemble is a joke they did not keep my appointment stood me up and aren't professional, and cost is high home owner expires they will lie about a cost bring it way up as soon as they begin!!!! I didn't use them...

Bill Howe altered our HVAC system. They're professional, efficient, friendly and just plain amazing. The cost was reasonable and I would use them again. They'll always be my first call for heating and plumbing requirements. I would if I could give more than 5 stars.

Fantastic support!!!
Miguel was professional and prompt!
I will recommend him and also the Bill Howe Plumbing Co. to neighbors and friends! Bill Howe has an superb employee that transcends into a great company!
