Boston Drain Company

As a homeowner of a family you will need to hire a plumber to time. My 3rd floor renters had a bathroom that is clogged and I contacted the beautiful Karen and Boston Drain answered the phone and managed to dispatch a service guy within 1/2 hour to the house. I was amazed at how quick the ceremony was as I had predicted several companies and had no answer. I was charged a fee of $125 and the service guy Mark went to the 1st floor to get the ceiling damage on his way out. Bye MARK! So I thought. 10 minutes later, says to me and my 80 plus mum comes from her bedroom. "Something is wrong with my bathroom too." Huh? Left, why did not you say something?! "I only remembered". Now I know I'm not supposed to get mad but I was steaming hot and predicted back to ask Mark return. Karen answered and discharged him to return. Mark returned with a bewildered look and arrived in and found at snaking the line a replacement was needed by my mother's bathroom following several attempts. He went shooting on stage and her toilet wouldn't flush on it's own. Now he has spent more time than the service call for the 3rd floor on her floor. I warned my mom was going to need to pay for another service call but Mark, Karen and the Boston Drain company gave me a rest. No charge and I had that as you can tell I have bigger problems I must confront. So overall, I'm happy with their customer service and Mark in particular maintained his professionalism. I'll continue to call you first as needed.

Good company, quality service! They are informative and educated for any drain remedy!

Who Needing na whenever your drain is clogged, predict. My Reliable and regular plumber advised me to phone them for a drain. That stated the rates are expensive.

In the first telephone call & up before saying goodbye upon completion of the main sewer line Chris, crew & Tevin are a joy to use. Everybody has been educated, friendly, worked on the weekend and equipped to meet my requirements above and beyond If you're looking for a company that treats you and not just another number or dollar sign!! Boston Drain is strongly recommended by me!

I'd give zero stars if I could. The work crew was quite rude. Leaving my lawn open despite being asked to keep it with the gate closed. They then proceeded to swear in which my son slept. I asked them to keep it all down. About an hour after the swearing started up again"we don't have the to keep the f***ing gate closed, we don't need to keep our f***ing voices " I went out to ask swearing to stop. I told him if the swearing lasted I'd call the police and he said"go ahead". I did phone the office and they appeared more interested in getting me off the phone than addressing the issue.

So thankful I called Boston Drain after Rapid Flow screwed a project at my rental property. I had been in a jam and I called the shipment at Boston Drain. The tech was delivered by her over . We had a clog from the sewer pipe, and Chris got within seconds to the difficulty. Lucky I discovered them!!!

Our Thanksgiving was stored by boston Drain! We had a MAJOR plumbing job. These guys arrived within hours of my call that the day before Thanksgiving. And throughout each day of the week long project, I had plumbing use every evening. They made a horrible homeowner event as easy as could be.

Customer support. They did a job and when I called to complain the woman who picked the phone hung me up. stay away.

BEWARE! They take advantage of a circumstance. They gave me quotes one was for the other and a distance for full distance of basement. They didn't go the distance and the plumber said he uttered the gap. Beware.

Rude, unprofessional and aggressive! Had a sewer crisis into the cellar with waste water backing up and called them out. Dumb and Dumber came and after crawling around in the cellar for a few hours reasoned that there was a blocked sewer line (duh) and stated they'd need to come back on the following day to camera the line. Why this wasn't done at their initial inspection, when I asked I was referred by them to the'boss' who explained he didn't wish to do the job and went ballistic! Wow, these guys need more competitors. Not NYC material. . .nooo. Stay away at all costs.

The service that is most horrible encounter! Mike from Boston Drain has serious problems and I would never want him in my property. He screamed at me on the phone for no reason and began swearing at me, then hung up. He's got difficulties. If you're looking for the worst service and you also want to take care of a possible psycho dial up Boston Drain.

I called later hours and they were there noon the next day to tackle a sewer pipe that was blocked/leaking . So we could see what was happening and throughout the process, I opted to get camera and a pipe cleaning the men in Boston Drain were entirely knowledgeable and helpful. They helped teach me what I could do for preventative care in the future and what went on and they worked hard for the two hours they were there to clear the congestion. Then they used the camera to help inform me what my choices were through the city of Boston with the Lateral pipe house assistance program and diagnose the issues. They were fantastic, helpful and more showed up the next morning for the review. Would recommend them and Dan is fantastic!

I am hoping I do not need to use them again, since drain difficulties are never fun, but when I do, I will call them !
The guy who did the job was very pleasant and efficient, the price was not outrageous ($150), plus they gave a 3 month warranty on the job.
I had a clogged drain inducing a pipe to leak in the basement, and they could come within one hour of my call, identified the problem, and fixed it. They also provided recommendations on how best to avoid the clog in the long run, and noticed that there was another plumbing problem (unrelated) in my basement that I should address asap. (Neither of these were things they could hope to gain from, the man was just very helpful.)
I definitely recommend this company.

I would not of gave these people one when I didn't have to star. I called simply asking what time they would be right down and the man was yelling at me telling me to find someone else. He then hung me up and I called back asking for me and the boss he continued to shout. I actually cannot think I had been treated just like that. Don't use these people. Disgusting I am so upset.

Boston Drain nailed it. Had a bathtub came by and cleared it. He knew exactly what he was doing. Professional got the job done and the cost was absolutley reasonable. I am Boston Drain for lifetime.

Boston Drain is strongly recommended by me. I have combination 1930's and 1960's pipes in an aged Dutch Colonial, and also the men that came out to snake the bathtub did a standup job. The snake got stuck, and also what might end up being a difficult and costly situation they came out another day to do everything they could to finish the job. Because their expertise they got out the snake of. They were considerate, cleaned up afterwards, and charged a reasonable price for this"can of worms."

I called on a Sunday and managed to get someone come hours after by snaking out it, to fix a problem with my toilet. I also was happy about how nice and friendly Mike (the guy repairing the bathroom ) was how he gave me a special rate because Boston Drain does a lot of business with the building I reside in! Much cheaper rate on.

They seem to have multiple yelp entries under amounts, but the numbers are recorded on their site. Wonder why this is.

These men are jerks. Spotted one of the trucks weaving in and out of traffic on route 24 south during rush hour. Virtually hit on two cars along with me. Driver had down the window and was screaming at other drivers and terrorizing them!

This is a review of Boston Drain Company in -LRB-617-RRB- 265-8888 from Dorchester (Mattapan). Horrible service. Called two when the afternoon came and to put an appointment up, they did not show up. I asked to speak to the manager, and he had been equally, if not, more impolite than the original person I talked with. Incredibly service that is dreadful and unprofessional. Someone eventually came to look at my drain that evening. During the time he had been at my apartment, he left the apartment. He said he could not do anything about it when he returned. The drain is COMPLETELY clogged, this afternoon. After he showed up, the drain was minimally clogged. I am doubtful this was a coincidence. Would NEVER call them again.
