Everything about the service has been fantastic. I liked the folks I spoke with on the telephone ahead of the appointment. And your service technician was helpful and pragmatic. It was a issue and he handled it well, and, above all, got our toilet back online.

Don't use this provider again. The plumber they delivered was unqualified and didn't understand what he talked about. He told me I had to open the wall and that was not the only way without doing any checking or inspection. It would cost thousands of dollars. It turned out there is already a shut off valve and it's behind a board.
To add insult to injury, I had been as the water continues to drip from my ceiling, a lot of occasions that the Roto-Rooter jingle is playing on loop in my head.
In the end of day 2, she advised me they weren't coming that day either and then asked"So you'd like to cancel the call?" If I had been the one that is flakey.
I hate to add to this"I took 9 hours work over two weeks and they never revealed" audience, but here we are.
When I would call to request upgrades every few hours (that I should not need to do) that the dispatcher made it seem like I was being unreasonable. "Ma'am, he must get a part for a different customer," she'd say in an irritated, condescending tone once I had been sitting there for six hours. Sooo should I just keep waiting?

For the sake of your sanity (and vacation time), avoid at all costs! They will supply you with a window. They won't appear. You phone,"they're wrapping up the present occupation, be there soon". You wait four hours, then they reschedule and cancel you for tomorrow. After they advised you, so you concur, defeated, you stopped calling plumbers. THEY DO THE SAME THING THE NEXT DAY.

I waited 3 hrs to their plumber to arrive and took off of work. The tech called and stated he had been going to park and here. After several minutes, I then got a second call saying he couldn't find parking because he had a"big truck" and had been going on another job. This was surprising because they had my speech and cut bait. When I spoke to the manager he explained they might come after job, but I would be billed additional.
I suppose they have a different perspective of customer service than I.
Would not recommend.
I scheduled an appointment on a drain for maintenance. Told them it wasn't urgent, was advised they would send a technician between 8AM and noon the next day. They sent an email confirmation with the date and time to me. Today, I waited for the appointment, did not hear back. Called at 1PM, they said they were running late, no quote but"definitely today". So they rescheduled it without letting me know (and yes, I double-checked that confirmation).
The time gave me a while to check these reviews, and if they offered to look into it and call me back, I decided I'd tell them"no thanks" instead. So I can't speak when they manage to appear to their service, so far as I understand is competent. Maybe they do better if demand isn't too significant.
Why their queue would be complete given the frigid weather I get, but I receive a appointment that is really kept. Instead, the positive scheduling had me all day, then"8AM to noon" turned into"sometime now eventually perhaps" then"try again tomorrow".
Five stars for Roto-Rooter! I had them come back because I have had the problem which caused trouble. Elie, # 8573, was professional and quite courteous. Before he did the job, which he managed to do quite fast he explained everything. I felt relieved to conduct business with a company and individual who were after having been burned by another service individual. And what a relief to have my kitchen sink as it should 14, draining!
Also included in the cost was a drain cleaner which from happening 22, I can utilize to avoid the issue.
Google is clearly paid off by them. I called to get a suspended drain pipe. The answering service said they don't pay my place. I'm in Metro West. I continue trying to look on Google, I find a 24 hour plumbing service that brings me back to Roto-Router. This time puts me up for next day service between noon and 8 and the operator puts me. She does not understand why they said they don't pay my city. The service tells me they don't have some plumbers and requires me the next day at 10 am and their technicians don't do drain pipes that are frozen. They were willing to send someone out though and charge me. (No thanks!) I phoned Dowd Plumbing rather and they were awesome.
Don't bother calling these men. They aren't coming. They'll tell you that they are coming out to your residence. Then after a few hours of waiting and repeated calls to their office and them telling you that they will come you will eventually be told (after 11pm) that somebody already came to your speech and that you, in person refused their service. Then you can have an enjoyable conversation about how that's not true and you also actually need a plumber. Then they will tell you that you can't be helped by them and that you're wrong. There are drain services. You need to call one of these instead.
Extremely non-responsive. I used them to discover a leak in my rental property. I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. Remind them I waited and I needed to call back and they didn't have an excuse as to why I had not received a response. It's been just another 3 days and I've yet to be given a response. Would not use again, would not recommend.
UPDATE: My wife received a callback in the manager. She was disappointed to hear that"it is what it is" in regards to some flat fee for this little time resolving the issue and the manager agreed it was unfortunate to be high. You lost a star and worse, I still won't suggest Roto-Rooter to anyone again. .
I overall loved the repaired every thing in under one hour as the primary drain line was completely clogged and had to be snaked out and completely cleaned. He was kind enough to take pictures to reveal what was in it, mostly baldness and sludge buildup.
I only wish the cost wasn't soo large ($400) just for 60 minutes to unclog a primary drain. I will re-consider calling someone else next time.
I could not use the kitchen sink, washer or dishwasher and had water in the basement sink back up. I called RotoRooter who promised me that an 8-10 am coming today. . .never got you. . .as they can't connect with the technician and don't know they will dispatch next... yet they still give you a window), I eventually gave up at 1 pm and also called Rooter-Man off of a Google search. Rooter-Man obtained the snake functioning and over 20 minutes I was writing a check on the best way to prevent this situation later on after the technician did a water pressure test with me and gave me recommendations. I must point out that Rotorooter doesn't quote you the job and Rooter-Man did. I got a call the technician is once the project was repaired.
Support - they never showed up for a scheduled appointment, meaning that I took away from work without a reason. There was no real explanation given for the technician was so overdue. I waited , As soon as I tried to reschedule and then was advised that nothing was . I ended up just using a different service- it was a bad experience and that I won't ever attempt to use them. Waste of time.
Yuck. I had a drain clog. These guys charged me, couldnt unclog it, left a dreadful mess and came out.
We found a terrific company, whom wont make a horrible mess. Try Rhino Rooter, they are a small company who care about customer service and doing the job correctly.
They were actually hired by me for two different incidents and wont ever be calling them back. They're a major company, which might care less about you and is rude. They want cash and thats it.
Overall, a great experience and would use at a pinch.
Our plumber, Ron, kept us updated on his status when he had been about 45 minutes away. He came in, was incredibly friendly, and assessed that the situation right away.
The reason is because the price tag is incredibly significant. It had been about $400 for its job, and it could not have taken over 40 minutes. But, that's the price you pay for crisis and service that is convenient.
Great experience. Scheduling online was very simple, and we were able to choose a time slot that was convenient for us no having to take time from work to be house for when the plumber could make over it.
I hear from the local supervisor. He explained they are a flat rate business so if it is 30 minutes or 5 hours the charge is exactly the same. So if they finish the job in less than 5 hours, then have them do something helpful like raking up your leaves!
I had excellent service now from Bill & Frank. I had two technicians since one was on training, however they were both great men. The normal 4 hour window for support stuff which is never what you need when attempting to plan your day but I am utilized to it and that is a function of the larger support companies.
There was no deception, but I was surprised once I learned the cost of the disposal 25, as how much the labour prices. This might be my fault for not doing my homework beforehand to determine what's competitive but at the very end of the afternoon if you would like professional, quick and reliable support - I feel this is a fantastic place.
The service men were awesome, can not say enough and courteous nature. The reason is because it cost me $650. Look, I understand, they indicate everything up and labour is expensive. The garbage disposal prices were set up by them $100 anywhere you buy it. The receipt showed they marked it up in cost (fine, not the support techs idea I am sure). So that left more than $400 in labour for a hours worth of work for a single tech (I am assuming I only got charged for a single guy as it was not a two man job and it was training?) . Just seemed a little high for me personally, I'd justify that if it were after weekend or hours crisis however I had in mind something similar to $250 for labour maximum.
The techs told me so I understood what I was getting into but I was not about to send them and begin price shopping once they arrived and did their work correctly.
I had a busted garbage disposal which leaked all over my kitchen, called Roto last night and they showed up this afternoon (weekday) by about 10:00 AM so that is pretty beneficial. The guy knew immediately that I needed to replace the disposal. Quick and painless, they had a new one on the truck, 1 hour procedure and they made sure to show me everything worked correctly and cleaned up after their job.
Minus one star because the quoted window was from 8am-10am and the technician arrived at 11am, and as the cost was much higher than anticipated (in my estimation ). I'll say that the client support team was proactive in letting me know at 9:30 that someone could be out a little later than expected (rather than me having to call at 10am wondering why nobody has showed up yet). I imagine this is more of a system issue with scheduling rather than the fault of the tech .
Very satisfied with the speed where Roto Rooter could get someone to come out (within 24 hours), along with the support that was supplied by Elie (#8573). After he finished unclogging it he was extremely professional and cleaned the bathtub!
This 5 star review is for my plumber Stephen H from roto rooter who came out to snake a filthy main drain which had flooding and causes blockage at Cambridge. This 5 celebrities IS NOT to get roto rooter as a business because plumber that they have is similar to Stephen.
Hands down, he was the plumber I've ever needed. He put felt down to protect my tiles from the heavy snake machines. He took the opportunity also discuss different solutions and to explain the issue. . He was not just there to be quickly out and in, I felt as though he wanted to help solve my plumbing issues.
While he was performing the job he even got a call he did service. I guess this is probably a standard thing for Stephen!
Frank came in and gave me an estimate on fixing my garbage disposal. Together with the coupon online I did not mind the flat rate. He and his partner got to work and were out in 30mins. I would recommend roto rooter.
