Water Heater installation Update: November 15, 2018Mike eliminated our 17 year old water heater, and installed the new 50 mill, 5500 watt, 12 year warrantied A.O. Smith electric water heater within a few hours. We couldn't be happier. It' Mike, and a heater was 100% good from begin to finish.
Mike came over yesterday afternoon. Mike was very beneficial. Because the water heater arrived a few weeks he had to hang in there with us. Mike even attempted to get us as Lowe's has been having problem obtaining the unit as promised. Within a few hours of Calplumbing arriving, we were up to our necks in water.
Mike with Cal Plumbing is awesome! I just moved into a house with many Plumbing issues and so I've been searching for a dependable and trustworthy plumber(I've been through a few). Mike was easy to schedule with so I did not have worry about feeling overcharged in the end of each task!!! and his costs felt fair Everything works good and looks fantastic now. Thanks Mike! We anticipate working with you later on if anything else pops up )
I phoned Mike Barbieri of Calplumbing to fix a broken water pipe in my house that I noted here in Yelp. He is without a doubt deserving of five stars. He came when he said he would, opened an outside wall replacement a pipe that was leaking all within an hour and presented me. He is proficient, dependable, honest, and friendly. What more could you want in a plumber, or for that matter any tradesman. Ted Kaye
Mike Barbieri gave me my choices and cost. He helped me problem solve what would be a fair thing to do. He was friendly and patient. His work area was clean and neat when he left. He unseated and reset the bathroom to retrieve a set. I would certainly call him again!
Just want to say that Mike is a guy and honest with his pricing. He assisted with a lineup congestion and cleared this up. He made sure to clean up as much as he can and was very careful while inside our home. I will call Mike for all our upcoming plumbing requirements.
Mike has completed three jobs for me (now four), 1. Hooked up my sink in my bathroom that was newly remodeled, 2. Recognized a leaking kitchen faucet then set up the new faucet3. Moved my garbage disposal from y left sink to my sink. He had been the most part on time and did as we scheduled and how we consented. He is easy to speak to. He is a good listener. His job is solid and he does it. He has trouble finding people to work so he chooses to become occupied as hell and not make as much cash as he could directing a lot of employees, for him that are in his criteria. In the risk of him not available to me once I need I recommend him.
Reasonable with cost. Tells it to you . Does a thorough job. Fixed my own water heater and mended my dishwasher!!!
Mike, the owner/operator, of CalPlumbing came outside to provide a free estimate on a pipe to the house in the wash tub. He was honest, and gave me a assessment of the situation. I advised him and he promised to return later in the day to perform the work. That I know things happens during the course of the day and that it can not always be helped, although he arrived a little later than promised. The part was that he actually called to tell me instead of simply ignoring me, that he was going to be late like most service folks have been known to perform. Upon his birth Mike fixed the entire deal in almost no time in any way and went straight to function. Actually he was so fast I requested him to take a look at my spray hose in the kitchen sink while he was here, without blinking an eye, and he did so. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it for pretty affordable. I doesn't feel the necessity to nickel-and-dime the customer for every little thing and also noticed he did a bunch of things that we had not talked about since the guy is a consummate professional and wants to do the job right. I was rather impressed with his knowledge, friendliness, thoroughness, rate, and that he was fairly cheap (considering the amount of work that he did). I would not hesitate to call him back, or recommend him to a friend. Bravo, Mike of CalPlumbing. Bravo.
I yelped Pacifica for plumbers, when I noticed one of my toilets had never shut off. Mike simply happened to be in the area, in addition to accessible and answered the telephone. He promptly corrected the issue, came and presented a bill because of his service. I will be calling Calplumbing again.
I attempted to purge them but failed miserably, After the bathroom sinks started to back up within my 55-year old house. Mike showed up on time, answered my questions, was respectful of my house (& hardwood flooring ), mended both sinks in less than 30 minutes, assessed his work before leaving AND did the work for the price he offered, that was lower than the other plumbers I'd predicted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for pipes or heating work!
I can not say enough good things about Mike, really. He came to my home to give me a second opinion on a blocked sewer line that kept causing water to leak in the toilet on the bathroom floor - a major mess. A different plumber came to take a look last weekend, and put a camera down the sewer line and found something blocking a section of this lineup, along with his recommendation was that I employ him to tear up a section of the cement in the basement so that he can substitute the blocked section of this line. It saved me a great deal of money and hassle, and I am quite thankful... And Mike was consistently responsive to my calls, friendly, patient, informative, and kind. I'd recommend him to anyone. And, incidentally, Mike was recommended to me by a builder whom I trust 100% and that has done a great deal of work on my home and on friends' homes over time, and Mike was also suggested to me from the plumber whom I've hired numerous days in the past but who was not available to do this repair.
So although we substituted _almost_ everything once we remodeled our house, we didn't do the cast iron pipes. When they failed at the worst possible time we called Mike out. Though other plumbers were quoting us $2-3k for the job - to do entire pipe replacements, to re install the pipes around the house, etc. etc. - Mike saw that we had to do was replace the broken section. When I explained money was a problem, Mike suggested things we can do in order to keep the price down (chiseling out the area around the pipes for a start). Mike came when scheduled, stuck to the estimate, and when a tub drain came up throughout the job, ran down to receive additional parts so that we can get this all. I have recommended Mike and I have discovered my plumber. Great news - he's younger than me while I'll need plumbing work so he can't retire!
Mike was 40 minutes late. I had additional work that took all of 15 minutes, '' he charged an extra $125.00 even though he finished all of the work in less time then the initial estimate was based on. I wouldn't use him .
