My ejector pump stopped working in my cellar and I had a water back up through our toilet. I phoned his company the following morning given a report on the work that could be achieved and was quoted a fantastic price, and Fred showed up two hours later.

Fred was amazing and I highly recommend him to anybody needing a plumber.
For him to show up the very best part was Fred was honest enough to determine that I didn't want a pump or any other job and just charged me the minimum, so I paid $700 less than what I was initially advised!
Fair, quick, and fair. . .you can't ask for much better.

They came around 1:20, which could have squeezed had my assembly not been canceled, but I thought about when I must drive all around the burbs to various meetings and people make me wait and I'm late for another thing and the next thing and it's just a big ole domino effect where I'm subsequently late for everything because a single person kept me waiting, and today I look like a jerk although it truly isn't my fault. For your first time maybe ever, I believe I felt.
Fred was super nice and we decided to have him the drain anyway because he'd already come all the way out and brought his tools upstairs and I just needed to be sure it did not quit draining again right after he left, which could totally be my fortune.
When my best, as an American, to shower will was taken away from me, you can imagine my distress.
Anyway, 1 day that the shower drain was fine. 100 percent A-Ok, not running slow or anything, and then 1 day it just wasn't draining at all and my boyfriend and I found ourselves scooping a pool of filthy water from the bathtub with a vacant"bucket" that was actually just an old pail that used to maintain cat litter. Had it not been 6am, I would have been able to find some Lucy & Desi-style humor in it, but it was that and 6am ball of zombie-colored hair that I needed to dig from the drain? Not funny either.
We could schedule the next day, Fred to come out and were given an ETA of some thing. The time was a little sticky for mepersonally, but my good-for-nothing brother was going to help out and stick out to wait and allow Fred in... just Fred was running a bit behind and my brother lived up to his own worthlessness and was nowhere to be discovered during the scheduled time. Fred and his apprentice, who had been running late.
The entire ordeal took about one hour and conducted fish round in a drain clogged with a chunk of my own hair and skin flakes and $145, which I thought was pretty fair for getting 2 plumbers to come outside all the way. I mean, how much cash would it take for you to be eager to do that? I'd be out when it got the area where I'd need to carry heavy gear. Exercise? No thank you. Not for me personally.
Plus, you understand whether a plumber is late that it's probably for good reason... or at the very least a reason that's far more of an emergency than I will likely encounter a day. I mean, I used to have a buddy who had been a plumber and we would constantly poke fun at him and call him'poopsmith' and all that, but deep down we really respected him because on our roughest days at work, we never needed to suck other people's sh*t from a deep, dark hole.
The problem had gone away. When Fred started filling the bathtub the drain started draining. Wouldn't you know it?
Freaking Obama.
I made a joke along the lines of,'Geez, you guys are great.' And spent the next few minutes trying to convince them that itn't drained and I wasn't crazy.
To be fair, that amount is really only slightly less that what it would have been had our shower drain not stopped draining all-of-a-damn-sudden earlier this week, but even so, I like to have the choice of turning the action of taking a shower on my own volition.
Also nice is that you are able to pay by credit card right there on the place when they are done, and you're going to receive an emailed receipt and a carbon copy receipt for your records. Easy peasy.
Just kidding, it's likely Hilary's fault.
I totally suggest Fred's Pipes (who's also rated highly on Angie's List) for all of your plumbing needs, if you are fortunate enough to live in place that he services.
When Fred and his apprentice (who will stay nameless because I forgot it) came, they had been super courteous, insisted on eliminating their shoes so to not dirty our floor and let me clarify the problem and all the different cockamamie ways we tried to unclog it ourselves. Subsequently Fred went through some probable scenarios for the blockage, I signed a paper, and then he dug right in... just there was one problem...

His helper and fred worked nonstop to clear out the drain in the home of my mom! They also adjusted some present piping that has been!

Their name should be the Persistent Plumbing of Fred! They remained at it until the task done and was completed correctly!

Plumbing is one of the best in the region fixed the pipes problems I had and quite professional!

I used Fred's Plumbing Service this past year and forgot to write a review. He did a great job at a fair price and replaced pipes on my hot water heater. He's my new plumber but up to now I've not needed a plumber but once I do, Fred's Plumbing Service is that I shall call. I suggest Fred's Plumbing to anybody who needs. Trust is.

Outstanding service. I am not sure what the deal is with all the one bad review but I will disagree and say"awesome service" My mother - widower & senior - has a home that we now rent out because of her having to proceed with my sister because of health reason. Long story short, there was a issue with the sewer line, nothing unusual for an older home so the tenants call Precision Plumbing. . .we need to dig up your front yard....it'll charge you $4,500.00." And here comes the surprise THEY ARE AVAILABLE TOMORROW. Wow. Imagine that. I throw these two knuckle heads to the curb, browse the internet and decide to provide Fred's Pipes a try. First off, the person answering the phone, Michelle, was fantastic. They were booked solid but she said that she'd attempt to slide me IF someone cancelled or a job got done sooner than intended. Late in the afternoon, Michelle calls me back and only let's me know that the things are not freeing up but that Fred will be there . Fred shows up at 7:50 am, with his aid. He is early. When does this ever happen. That the blockage is found by him and shows it. He is dedicated to fixing it although it is a poor one. He is there for FIVE hours and finally get the blockage. It was a enormous wad of TP (don't ask). After all this time, his bill is still the quoted $275.00 to get"rodding service" Because he went above and beyond the call of duty, I insisted he allow me to make it fair.
Fred, you're a person of integrity - something lacking at Precision Plumbing. Highly recommend and I am certain folks will continue coming your way.
And also to Precision Plumbing - you men are snakes. It makes me ill that you use your"$99 particular" as a means to receive your foot in the doorway and then try to pressure individuals into service they don't require. You don't have the honour to return my calls. Because it makes me ill thinking about all the people you have scammed I hope karma catches up with your company.

Freddie was quite knowledgeable and punctually and personable. Quality work. Price was very fair. I would recommend to anyone who needs a plumber in the area.

He then consented to bill LESS than the quoted cost because it did not take him long (clearly DON'T expect him to perform this each time. I just mention it because it emphasizes the point that he cares more about doing a great job at a fair price than gouging the client ). Before he left he cleaned everything up and took his tarps (which he laid down to ensure that he did not track snow on my flooring ).
Fred's was great. I needed a plumber to unclog my drain. I was able to acquire a level rate quote for the job and knew how much it was going to cost before he even showed up (unlike a lot of different plumbers I called).
I am a happy customer and will use Fred!
Fred unclogged the drain and then put a camera down into my lines to ensure everything was apparent. He took time afterwards to describe what my pipes lines seemed the way I could unclog them myself if they clogged in the future, and liked.

Very friendly and fair staff. I won't hesitate to call them next time I have a plumbing problem.
I managed to get a consultation and had somebody out to my house to attempt to fix a window that is clogged well. They spent over an hour seeking to unclog the drain into no avail and talking possible solutions. I was not charged because they were unable to fix the issue.

Fred is a breath of fresh air. After trying a number of plumbing solutions and being unsatisfied, finding Fred was a life altering experience. I lose sleep over my plumbing or my drips. Fred is called by me and that he handles the stuff. He understands and I do not need to be concerned about it. Reasonably priced, prompt, corteous and trustworthy. I am so glad I discovered Fred.
