Fantastic experience replacing a water heater with Diego and Cesar. They completed quality work, gave a precise quotation, and showed in the time window which was promised. If we are ever in need of a plumber We'll call.
Quick service. My garbage disposal device stopped functioning. The device was replaced by marcos plus it works great today. They came out less than 3 days later I called. Fantastic experience and will use them if desired.
My kitchen sink leaked. I believed it had been the sprayer from the faucet, but wasn't 100% sure. I called The Gentleman Plumber and they had an appointment accessible. Their man was specialist and did show up on time. It turns out it was the sprayer I thought. They had a deal to replace the faucet for $100. But since I was sure that it had been that issue, I did not purchase it. Since it cost $215 to replace the faucet instead of $100, now I'm filled with regret. They did not give me a break whatsoever even though it just took 35 minutes to him to take action. He did a good job, but nevertheless, $215 for changing the faucet? Service that is good , but, I will not be using them.
So, that's three strikes already: 1) overdue; 2) charging issues; 3) more expensive than expected (by about 40%! ) ) But their manager called me. I guess he just wanted to shout in an unhappy client? Because that is what he did.
"I'm SO SORRY you needed to pull over and have a telephone call, I mean it's not the end of the world." (No, O master of sarcasm, the point was that I tried very difficult to set things up so that I wouldn't have that issue, since I knew I might be driving when they finished. "I'm sorry that they told you the wrong thing, but NOBODY from the service industry bills people, everyone ALWAYS take a credit card. We bill anybody unless they're one of our best customers." (Thank you for NOT treating mepersonally, a new client, like one of the best customers. . .it's much more difficult to win new customers than to keep old ones. . .just sayin'.) Following yelling at me for a while, and attempting to justify what I felt was a very awful experience, he said"this can be an unproductive conversation." And we.
Anyway, I couldn't recommend this business for anything; the manager was not a"gentleman," at least not to me personally. Best of luck if you hire them, I hope your experience differs from mine.
My experience was not what I anticipated. The guys arrived late, outside of their window. The repair, a process on a water heater, took a half hours - they brought two guys, don't know why. Total cost was high for that which I anticipated because it took so long. There was an problem with billing - while I went into a business meeting across 22, that I needed to leave the guys. Before I left, I asked if they needed me to leave a credit card. I was assured by them they might have a bill sent to my home. I meanI TRIED to make things easy for them, for gosh sakes! I TRIED to leave them to a credit card!
I Had Been impressed by The Gentleman Plumber. Cesar and Diego were type, intelligent, and professional. They enjoy where they work, and it shows. It would be a joy to cross paths with those gentlemen. Best Wishes, JMB
I recommend without reservation. I bought a house 4 decades back. Obviously, a few of the renovations are beginning to age and the occasional problem pops up. I had a house warranty but the plumbers they had been of quality. The next time I wanted someone, I happened to find the GP truck and phoned them. They've now done 4 jobs for me: repaired frozen outdoor spigot, repaired a leak under the sink caused by one of those warranty-sent plumbers, repaired the hot water valve leading to the washer installed a new hot water heater and, now. Superb job in every case with timely appearances, first rate work and reasonable cost. I've come to inquire domain for Caesar. Today, he came up to the washer water problem that saved time, money and a pain in the butt between a pit in the laundry room wall with a solution. Additionally - you are able to make appointments. Love these guys.
Same-day support to get a leaking valve, Quick. They had to cut out some dry wall to get to it. . .left no clutter, and cut it out quite into painting and the last repair . Liked attitude and the support a lot.
Lesson learned for me, don't call a plumber call my condo association to repair any plumbing issues.
The procedure was fairly fast to schedule the appointment, I did it all over email. They have been extremely friendly and courteous. The plumber who showed up was prompt and nice.
I called my condo association who sent someone out immediately and in five minutes had the problem fixed.
The problem was that they couldn't fix my clogged sink in the 30 or so minutes that he had been here. To be fair my condo is exceptional in that the pipes are shared along with my neighbor so it's a pain and he couldn't get the snake. But he never fixed my issue and he charged me $130 for the 30ish moments he had been here. Once I went upstairs to have a look that I could deal with but it was a mess. There was crap in my walls and toliet and water onto the floor. I would presume there would be a mess with a repair like this but he didn't give any warning that is acceptable to me or try to tidy up he left.
You can't get any better than this! This company is competitively priced, while the name sounds expensive and that they won't rip you off. They have ethics are fair, and will get the job. This firm is highly responsive, show up on time, and works. The Gentleman Plumber is your best plumbing company I've encountered so much since residing in Alexandria for 21 decades and I've hired a few. The Gentleman Plumber's master plumber Andy Perkins knows what he's doing and has a great demeanor. I had an extremely complex situation at my house where another plumber from another firm had come and created a great deal of issues and didn't do the job around code. Andy immediately identified the issues came in and promptly remedied all the issues than I anticipated and the bill was reasonable, because they work fast. I can't talk highly enough! A diamond in the rough, a real locate!!
