Paul Jett TOTALLY screwed up this.
Input Honest Abe together with Nick and Sol. Wow! What a difference a professional makes. They replace the pvc lines with aluminum that Paul Jett insisted I did not need and place the cold water expansion tank that is required to the brand-new water heater, though AO Smith said not with the tank could void my warranty. Nick re-attached the claw foot bathtub foot no one could get back on and Jett's guy knocked off. Plus they hooked up the dishwasher (even replaced a leaky line Jett missed). They replaced the piping coming out of the claw foot bathtub, once he rebuilt the floor when he allow 40 ft of water that was skylight pour all over the tile that was ungrouted he destroyed as it moved.
They were out and in fast as a flash, tidy, respectful, and walked through exactly what they were going to do, exactly what it would cost, and what they did like I understand what I am doing. (I've been a property rehabber and manger for old homes for pushing ten years)
Hired Paul Jett Plumbing to perform the plumbing work on a 1942 home with an apartment in the basement. Nothing fancy, simply move washer and dryer hook ups, install ice maker, dishwasher, and kitchen sink, place into a hot water heater.
Can not say enough good things!
TOTALLY recommend them. Honest Abe is my plumber. Take advantage of these guys.

Further, they needed nearly a $1000 to cut an access panel to replace a washer to be able prevent a faucet. I got my handyman to perform it parts & labour for ~ $400 although an access panel was needed by it. I'd suggest other's do exactly the same...
Primarily, a 9am to 2pm"appointment window" occupies the better part of a day. Remember the good old days when the service industry simply made"appointments"?
I contacted this business because of each the stellar reviews, but as with other vendors I've had less luck than most I suppose, since I feel like they dropped the ball in a few places.
Also they said they were going to mail me and they never did.
I wasn't staying in the house the day before so I had to wake up early on my day off when I cope with rush hour traffic, and might have slept in only to be there if they came at 9am. Not only did they never arrive at 9am, I had to sit around all day in my house when I might have been out doing things, and THEN they called to say they'd be an hour late from the conclusion of their agreed upon window, meaning they wouldn't be there until 3pm. That is unacceptable.
If possible, prices are comparatively large, get your trusted handyman to perform tasks.
I've determined that I will no more do business with businesses that engage in"appointment windows." I will only deal with businesses that produce appointments, and show up in time. I understand a few tasks take more than others, however they already granted themselves a 5 hour window (the longest I have ever head of) and they could not even hack that.
I had been impressed with them, but not the general company. Back to my neighborhood plumber.

Honest ABE Plumbing is my new favourite pipes! We had to replace a water heater, so as to have the ability to recover hot water quicker converting it from electric to gas. Abe Lazar was incredibly patient, giving me my choices, explaining GPM recoveries, gave me ample information on tankless systems, helped me look to a power anode rode....His patience was so much appreciated along with his knowledge he shared extremely beneficial. He priced out our work and got us the heater we had. Honest ABE Plumbing will be used by us again. Fantastic company who hears your wants and be sure to receive exactly what you need in the end.

Thank you Sam, the work is complete and problem resolved. Not positive if it was a good price but I do have part of mind. $800 setup and parts. 23 year old leaky faucet. Required a new system. Would use again.

That the SAME MORNING our telephone or not able to offer same day service with a single location offering us a service date in two weeks except Honest Abe who discharged a technician replaced the capacitor of the unit. All without a surcharge and at the going rate. Young Technician Honest Moishe even showed us how to keep up the unit saving us hundreds more and extending its life and improving its strength. It's the next time Honest Abe rescued us and we are extremely grateful.
On Sundaywe awoke in a sweltering house about the day of the year since our central air purifier had neglected during the night.

I've had the joy of using a 2 bathroom remodel: plumbing, AC and finally Honest Abe for several projects/repairs. The business is well called: expert, Honest, professional. They give recommendations advice and stand with their work. Dave did just two of my baths. His eye gave me two baths. He wanted to make sure that I was 100% happy with the work done. A different Dave:-RRB- who offered the experience of years assisted him. It's a fantastic relief to know that if there are problems with my plumbing, heating, Ac, etc I have a business I truly trust. Thanks To everybody at honest Abe!!!

Honest-ly Late. I wished to do this again for two issues I had in my rental property and had used the company previously. They had a five hour window from 9am to 2pm they call or didn't create me to inform me they ran behind. The time was extended by me but they didn't arrive. I cancelled my second appointment with them and called another company.

So grateful for the wonderful customer support - in the time that I called to ask questions through installation and the actual service call. I am recommending them to friends and family - it's rare to discover a business that makes the whole process easy.

10/10 would certainly use them again. Wonderful experience!!! Both tech's (Sol and Ernie) were exceptionally courteous and professional!!! They took the time to explain my issue and the fix at non-plumber speak. Their site has coupons and they give multiple service reductions which made the service even less expensive, although the pricing was fair alone. I had a line congestion. Roto-rooter quoted me $1099 for both services (after a $299 reduction ) however Honest Abe cost $763 after the $50 online coupon and the multiple service reduction. They wore shoe covers immediately when they entered my home and set a drop-cloth to protect my floors down. Sol took the time to answer my questions and offered about preventing troubles, notify after the ceremony was finished. He put on the missing out clean-out cover and replaced the interior clean-out cover (Roto-Rooter formerly installed the incorrect one) free of cost. They then cleaned up supporting themselves! They had a hand and wiped off the walls and the access panel. I can't say how impressed I was with the whole adventure!!! I am hoping I don't require a plumber again, but if I do I'll call Honest Abe!

Fantastic group to work with! Truly honest. So far they have installed dryer vent, a sink, gas line, and repaired a leaky pipe in my new home. After work is complete pricing that does not change work is guaranteed for annually. The very best thing for me is what the choices are to complete the work, and they explain what will be achieved, the constraints to their work. Could not urge them.

I began using their HVAC support as well, which was equally stellar.
Honest Abe's couldn't be better! I discovered them initially through an Angie's List bargain for a"pipes tuneup". There were a couple small issues I had, they remedied in the procedure. The whole time they were upfront about my pricing options, providing a couple to choose from for each issue to me.
Later, when I renovated my new home, they awakened me from a difficult situation. My toilet contractor had done a few things wrong, including NOT hooking the water up into the shower. Honest Abe's repaired difficulties were wrongly done by of the and came to the rescue, and meticulously inspected the job to be certain nothing has been missed. That gave me a peace of mind I didn't have after the renovation's stress.

I called Honest Abe . They gave me an window. They did arrive promptly at 11:15 am and called at 10:45 am saying they would be there in 30 minutes. They found that to be the issue again and instantly assessed the valve. It was fixed by them. It was a 0 charge visit, and I didn't even need to remind them about their one-year support guarantee. Excellent work, good guys.
I generally do not like paying for services that don't possess a industry prices. A/C Repair would fall into that category. Because of that, it took me a couple of months before I eventually called Honest Abe to check out my central air unit that was only blowing lukewarm atmosphere (last spring). Before finally fixing a faulty valve, they came out, spent approximately 45 minutes attempting to diagnose the issue. The guys were very nice. The problem recurred, but I chose to put off a different service call until Spring 2015 since the summer was over.

Honest and reasonable, as its name implies. Produced the problem and a service call worked out itself. Glad it wasn't a serious problem, and thankful the plumbers were efficient, comprehensive and honest.

Honest Abe is fantastic. What impresses me is I feel like each job is treated by them as if they're working in their very own house. They're considerate and honest.

They replaced by hose bib and arrived on time. I will certainly call them again in the fall to support my water heater. Plumbers appear to tell the truth and know what they're currently doing.

This company was called in by the previous owners of our home to fix. Said there was not anything wrong, he couldn't replicate the flow. Within days of moving in, the flow was discovered by us again. We called our plumber and he had been able to determine the source of the flow. When we called to try to discuss the matter he wouldn't make himself available to discuss his worker's performance.

Great service, quite good plumbers & reasonable pricing. Highly recommend. Used a few times to them and they will give you a call 30 min before arrival.

I picked up a Groupon or alive Social Deal for them (I can not recall which) because just that morning one of my renters let me know the kitchen faucet had no water pressure. Before they began they were quick, friendly and honest and upfront about all pricing and work. So that you won't have to wait for replacement parts to be ordered, they stock everything on their automobile. Super clean work!

They and I met and we went over what they could do. From there we discussed costs. They then offered to do the work the same day; no more coming back in another time. They come prepared to operate; amazing. They even covered their toes not to mess up my carpet; that is appreciated by me. I felt that they were professional and affordable. They receive my recommendation.
