Greg King, using J&S pipes, put it back together, and then ran the grinder via the system to address the clog neatly and quickly took apart the pipes.
They were clean, very professional, and quick. I appreciated their services.
These guys showed up and were able to address a issue that was significant. Apparently the renters had managed to clog the pipes with grease up. It was certainly a issue to me how this difficulty could exist.

Excellent Service .... Oh and price was outstanding.... I saved hundreds going to Home Depot or anywhere else I looked.

The plumber that came over arrogant of himself; had a trainee which seemed uncomfortable with him. The minute he walked , not said or introduced himself. He instantly started talking bad about old plumbing saying it was likely to be difficult to repair a tub drain. The side of this wall had an opening. He then moved to the cellar consider the ceiling, I have moveable tiles which clearly can observe the tub above, then saying he would have to split walls, also it would be hard to fix?? What?! He had been all talk and talk and also the bad guy with him was only standing there like everything you talking about. They rip off you. They make these remarks to cause you to collapse into other repairs. They have been the go to plumbers but no more. They will charge you an arm and a leg for easy repairs.

WOW!!! Cannot believe myself! What a horrible experience! They charge pretend the issue is fixed by them. While I call them back, they told me that I must pay again ‍The manager was rude and unhappy. Very unprofessional! Shame!!! He reminds me grumpy grandpa. Not recommending!!! Stressful and no Outcome

Called J&S about replacing and installing a Toliet, among a few other things I had to get done. Call and quote over the telephone was honest and fast , Ivan that came out was engaging, prompt and efficient. Would turn to them .

These guys are great!
We had a list of problems that we had handled on every floor, in the basement sump into a upstairs bathtub. Even work was had by the yard sprinkler system! J&S came recommended by a friend so we had them only come out ready to do the job, although we got a few quotations. So glad they were used by us. Sean and his team were on time, obtained our problems sorted in no time, and efficient.
We will be calling them the next time something comes up!

We definitely hope to keep on doing by together in the future.

The 2 guys got the fix made quickly. They did work that is amazing were competent and were guys. We were grateful that the bill didn't cause us a heart attack or stroke. We're thrilled to get water.
-24 degrees with a wind chill of -54 levels; the pipes in my house can take itNOT! It occurred when the temps were to reach a 2 levels after the pets and people and my house in it lived 4 days of nonstop Arctic weather. Pipe cracked. Luckily, it has to had exploded, when we discovered the rec room carpets was a little squishy. We are thankful it wasn't flooded.

February 1st, gotId' adore Chicago weather?
In earlier times J&S had been great installing a brand new ejector pump and adding (I think this is the plumbing term?) A frost proof shut off from the outside hose spigot. But with this newest"event", I predicted J&S.
Ed explained that there were approximately 50 calls ahead of us and perhaps I need to call plumbers . Well, other plumbers had wait lists of hours to 2-3 days. Who will go that long? It was Ed and when the phone rang a few hours might be within 1/2 an hour. We're prepared to have a party!

Today Gasper and two other gentlemen came our sewer line following a company failed to open the line last night, leaving our puppy and I, my husband, and our two week with no water. Not just were his staff incredibly friendly and professional along with Gasper, they were tidy, and reasonably priced--they provided the same service as another company, successfully, for half the price. They had the job, and had been at our home within an hour and a half of contact. We will contact J & S for plumbing needs, and were impressed with their service!

We have used this company a few times within the year and always had a wonderful experience. This time Daniel Cortez came out and was extremely comprehensive with his identification of the issue we'd. They worked hard without trying to use more costly means to clean out the problem. He walked me they were doing too so I understood what was occurring. Price was very honest and gave me a few tips of how to avoid this issue in the future. Highly recommend them. 5 stars!

Excellent!! I predicted using a sump pump not working and beeping. J & S had the service man out Monday morning. The pump worked by 10:30. They provide a 10% discount to military and seniors. I recommend them and am pleased.

Had a water crisis one morning. Supply valve to the bathroom so did the main shutoff from the crawl-space and failed. When the village turned the main off beyond the house, I called J&S. They replied right away and supplied a ceremony window that same day to me. Service department called me 30 minutes later to tell that the plumber was on his way, well ahead of schedule to me. Plumber was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Price was very fair.

Would highly recommend J&S! We've gone through plumbing companies attempting to locate someone we hope and so glad we finally found them! They explain things, do good work and are honest. Matt was great and fixed our hoses as well as our bathroom. These guys are great!

Truly great value and service! Our water heater eventually expired and called J&S. Brian was extremely beneficial and I knew by talking with him that they'd provide us VIP treatment. The price he quoted me was quite fair and there were no upcharges! The following day one of their employees texted me that when I was available, their techs could be The techs helped me know all the steps they went to finish and were great and the time it would require. Highly recommend and will call for all of my other plumbing needs!!

Called S & J because they had good reviews and are local. Both guys who arrived checked my issue and gave me a few choices to choose from. Then fixed my toilet in no time in any way. They showed me that the components and cleaned up after themselves. If anything seems wrong telephone, lastly they stated. We make it all right and will come back. Nice to hear.

Really like this company! We had an emergency last night - I smelled"dampness" when I moved in the cellar so hubby checked our crawlspace and sure enough we had water - assuming it was the recent rains/snow melt we moved to wash up however we saw an area by a drain tube (from shower supporting wall) that had water bubbling up beneath it hubby had to sit for hours utilizing shop/vac to suck it up and it'd only keep coming back so we presumed it was a busted pipe called several plumbers and they had been the only to respond (mind you its super busy for them all w/the recent rains/etc.) So I get it but they had been the only to call back right away I clarified what we thought it was the nice woman on the telephone gave suggestions (sump pump being we did not think of that thinking that was fine no more water in utility space ) so they'd send somebody when available - I moved to investigate the pump anyway and lo and behold it was - the balloon swap thing broke off and it was not draining we needed to manually do it (and sit all night to get it done fixed) the water ended up seeping into our foundation/crawlspace - they came out eventually at 10:15 pm checked it knew we had a new pump and immediately put you in like 10 mns! Yes did not want to invest the $ but in that hour we had no option but was amazed it was not as expensive as you would believe (greater than when we did it obviously but still contemplating it not bad) they do not upcharge for evenings and weekends which exclusively sold me AND the guy gave us a coupon! Trust them the techs were super friendly and helpful even at that late hour and we managed to go to bed at 11 pm! :-RRB- totally recommend!

I've hired J&S to perform quite a few tasks including cleaning and repiping. They're on-time and routinely reliable, knowledgeable, communicative, professional, friendly, and ready to clearly explain potential fixes and plumbing problems in a way that's non-judgmental and enlightening. I'd recommend them, but they'd have enough time. LOL

This was fantastic an experience as you could hope to have midnight Friday. We arrived home to a stuffed sump well (with the pump not working) and water rising in another region of the basement. We talked with a woman in the answering service who asked all the proper questions called on a Friday and checked everything. The J&S scheduler/triage person called back in a couple of minutes, gave a very clear anticipation of when we could expect to see him and where the service tech was , and promised that a call-back when he was about half an hour away. It turns out that he managed to come sooner than anticipated, and from midnight, he was working in the basement.
While I am sure a few premium was paid by us for the emergency service, we don't feel taken advantage of in the least; this service -- and having the ability to sleep knowing that we weren't flood with waste water --was well worth the purchase price.
During, Leo was fine (which is a wonderful surprise in the time of night!) , exceptionally communicative about what he was finding and doing, clearly experienced and capable. Not only did he perform his work really well, he even worked to keep the basement floor clean because he pulled a amount of muck that was unpleasant from the pipe.
We had a few issues that are concurrent, and Leo fixed and identified them equally, until it was clear routing out the line in the house -- which was quite a task. He also substituted our sump pump, all between 3am and midnight.
J&S will be recommended by us, and would gladly use Leo any moment.
