JBL Drains

He showed up at the time the morning and immediately fixed what was a massive clog in our main. While I asked Richie to discuss a couple of longer-term plumbing projects in my house I had been meaning to tackle (the sort one may forget to tackle and later regret, along with some life updates ), and had been quite impressed by Richie's personable, straight forward, pragmatic way of problem-solving.
I found Richie both via Yelp and my wife sourced community input through social websites (where many folks from the metro west area mentioned him quite favorably).
We all evened up and planned next steps for following job after helping my priorities are funneled down by me.
In a world where things are commodotized, even services like plumbing, it requires!
Now was an amazing success, and I am looking foreword to the shut off and bathtub sink!
I reached out on a Sunday night at 10:30 to Richie --I heard back from him almost and we had a game plan for the day within about 15-20 minutes.
Richie customized his opinions to account for matters I had been comfortable doing myself (and provided me some very helpful pointers) and gave me a few very reasonable pricing for a number of the things that I was not comfortable doing .
We began to experience a fairly amazing sewer setup late Sunday (that I guess had been happening with less acuteness for quite a while now, it simply didn't produce output on our basement floor!) . , it was obvious that it was time to call in the professionals.

Thursday night no call. On FridayI left messages on both the business line and the"24 hour crisis support line"; still no calls from him on Friday. Messages were left by me on Saturday no callbacks. Squandering a day off from work and after suffering for 3 days, I am done with this joker; I finally called Roto Rooter & am waiting for them to appear.
Called JBL with a backed up sewer line on Thursday afternoon, and Richie showed up at 3 (the end of this 1-3 window they guaranteed - so far so good.) Soon after arriving, he had to run to home depot since his camera light had failed. In 5:30 or so, after running the camera down the line but not really doing anything to solve the problem, he said he'd call back that day & let me know when he'd be back the following day.

We had JBL Drains come out to correct a blocked drain in a shower. Ritchie came and proceeded to use some kind of atmosphere contraption to unclog the drain - despite being told it would need to get rodded as the atmosphere solution had not been a fantastic fix in the past. Within a week, the blockage returned despite an initial achievement, and having passed over payment.
Just an disappointing encounter. I wouldn't use.
We spent weeks trying to get hold of JBL to get them to return. Originally they answered our calls but then they stopped.

I am sorry to say, although I contacted Richie predicated on additional Yelp testimonials this is not a company based on my experience with them. After waiting nearly 4 hours to get their arrival, I had been told,"he's doing you a favor, this is not even in his service area"
Poor and unprofessional customer services. I know a fantastic plumber is not easy to find, but I would keep on looking beyond this one.
The details: Spoke to Richie and explained the issue. He explained they had been piling out 3 weeks in advance, but to give him 5 minutes -- he would call the office and let them fit us in. I did so and has been provided a noon - 3:00 time window to get a day the following week. After waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes, I called the office and left a message requesting an arrival upgrade. I phoned Richie directly and that he explained he had been finishing up a job in 45 minutes and could come then. The office then phoned and tried to reschedule for another 2 hour time window the following day. When I explained that wasn't possible, I had been told,"he's doing you a favor, this is not even in his service area"

In reaction to his comment. At no point was it made"clear" anything of this type. I'll happily share the text exchange picture.
You see these reviews that say that the man does not reveal, and they couldn't be right. Was supposed to come for a quote, spoke with, agreed on a time. Never came. Got a text saying an emergency happened the following day and when he can come. These guys get actual emergencies all the time. Day, texted thing and wanted to confirm when our time was good. No reply. Eventually receive a text attributing it on the office he was not coming, gave me"his word" he'd come by. Never did. Got a call a few hours after our third agreed upon time from the office saying he was still stuck, and I said"that's okay, I must head to work shortly, so that he can't be here by 5pm then we could search at a time tomorrow or next week" and never heard from again. I was reasonable with providing a opportunity to come to this man. His office is less than two kilometers from my residence, likely passes it on his way to work. Very disappointing.

Bathroom sinks and our kitchen backed up into our bathtub. Ritchie was professional, efficient and quick. He did a fantastic job explaining what led to the issue and how to block it in the future.
An emergency did come up so that he was a little late, however his ceremony was quite fairly priced (especially compared with opponents ) so It had been worth the wait! Very knowledgeable and helpful, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

3 no call no show.
I can not comment as a plumber on Riches skills because I was not able to really get him to work.
Called Rich to replace leaking a spigot, he came the first day and left soon and stated he would come and didn't have the materials. The following day, no call no show. I reached out and inquired if he's still interested, he explained sorry he was busy and he would come on Thursday show. I called, no answer and got a text instead saying he's so active and has 3 children to support etc.. Why it's so difficult to find tradesmen with just a tiny customer service 18, I don't know. I have a mountain of plumbing job and can not find anyone to take my cash. It's a shame.

My principal problem was grease and roots on my drain. Richie got those cared and left my drain just like new. Problem was repaired on the initial one, although this took two visits. What I liked the most about the procedure was that I managed to see the problems with the camera that he brought, a great before and after.
When he said he'd came and kept me updated on the problem he came. The previous person that help me 2 years ago mess up and I wound up with a flooded cellar. Again, Richie help me and set contact.
I had exactly the same problem in my drain 2 decades back. Was not available and Richie was discovered by me through Yelp. I'm happy I did.
Another complement is the firm he recommended left some things filthy and that he took full responsibility and managed himself. This is a white glove services.

I had a clogged drain that backed up into the house. Called Roto Rooter during that night, and the guy was so lazy he didn't wish to attempt to fix it. I called JBL Drains at Framingham. Mark was sent by them out . First off, Mark could not have been simpler and nicely maintained. While I went to fix the matter I had no problem supplying to leave him. He diminished, and he went out for it. Mark didn't hesitate to be sure that the barrels we utilized got washed out with a hose. He didn't seem annoyed at all. I wasn't trying to be bothersome, but could not help but observe the procedure, and he gladly talked me through the entire thing. Clogged drain as a result of roots at the primary line. One thing was the cost. If this was considerably higher I would not have thought twice. Very happy with this company.

Best notch service and incredible customer service! Will use again! I suggest JBL to anyone!

I spoke to Rich Shaw last Friday about a kitchen sink that was clogged and phoned. He said he'd come by the next day, Saturday between 12-2pm. His office called about two pm to say he had a crisis and would not be coming until late that afternoon. At 4:50 pm, he said he would be coming in about one hour and needed to change his shirt and called my mobile. We waited the Saturday- unable to utilize the kitchen sink or dishwasher. He called or never showed up. Had he had the decency to inform us he wasn't coming, we'd have called another support! It's a similar pattern to another review . He keeps pushing off it, then never shows. Very unprofessional. Call RotoRooter- support.

Richie has done a great deal of work. He replaced vanity and a sink in a alcove of our bathroom. He replaced all the shut off plumbing and valve's underneath all the sinks. He noticed that our house did not have a main shut off valve for the water supply separate from the city closed off, and he guided us to have a valve installed. This is a fantastic idea. He covers his sneakers when he walks through the house and leaves everything clean. He will let you know if he will be delayed and is communicative and nice. He will be your man once Richie is to your house!

Saved the day ! Main drain backing up to a multi household in marlborough. When called on a sunday night in 11 richie showed up fast. Got it and clean. Cant say enough about his work respectfullness and ethic of situation.

Called and left a message saying I had a sewer backup, and would love to learn how much it'd cost to get it fixed, obviously. JBL web site says they're 24/7, 365 days a year. I called both numbers supplied. One of which was allegedly a cell phone number for emergencies. JBL didn't even call me .

I had a really well-known drain business come to my home also to do the fix it would cost me and also to tell me I had a sewer pipe. I needed to get Another opinion, and so I got a record of JBL drains they arrived and spent a few hours at my house and also to find I did not have a broken pipe it was a poor clog they removed the clog and all was flowing for over $1,000 that company is friendly,honest and fair thank you JBL drains hire this company if you have a drain problem

I've used JBL' service recently, Richie was amazing, he is very nice and professional, understands plumbing system very well, will continue with his ceremony time.

Richie came promptly at 1st but he did not fix the issue. We paid quite a bit of money & despite his saying he would come back & guarantee the job claims via phone & text messages that he would encounter, he never did.

Was great about replying then pushed back occasions to appointment. Needed a sink repaired in leasing before heading out and, though there were supposedly issues replacing the sink, the job was done badly (never cleaned the older silicone off of the undermount). There were several problems between the JBL as I do not know the contents of these conversations and my landlord, which I can't comment on, but following the JBL abandoned, the landlord wanted repairs done to the first occupation. No matter who had been at the right, I needed work done quick and was promised one time then rescheduled several times. I would have tried another approach/plumber When it was apparent early on that I would get pushed back so much. Additionally felt that JBL put me in the midst together with the landlord. I wanted the sink replaced and ended up fielding texts and phone calls from JBL and my spouse all day throughout my day because there was not any resolution or contact between both.

Richie is the very best! Answer his forecasts, shows up when he is clean, states, and does his job!
