Kamaaina Plumbing and Renovations

On the day of installment, Terrell, aka plumber, came. Terrell did an job that is installment that is excellent. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. This guy is a hard worker. He focused on the job efficiently. He answered any questions I had very politely and then gave me advise how to best maintain a hot water heater. Terrell is an excellent Kamaaina employee.
I purchased a hot water heater from Home Depot at Kapolei, HI who contract w/ Kamaaina Plumbing. Soon thereafter, Kamaaiana phoned me to request a pic of my old furnace (it went to their spam inbox - bizarre ). Next, my consultation was organized by Melissa from Kamaaina's office with their plumber. Melissa was very attentive, professional and friendly. I needed to place her on hold for a few minutes and that I waited my return to the phone.

I can say that these folks are difficult and unreliable to work with, although I can't speak to their work product. It is all but impossible to get them onto the phone. They can't answer any questions that he looks like the only one who can make decisions and answer substantive questions and because their overall manager is never around If you finally do get through to them. Even though they say they will call you back, they won't. It is unfortunate they are unresponsive because I am convinced it is costing them company.

Buyer beware. This company is far from any meaning of"Kama`aina".
They jacked the setup cost since they are the only business Home Depot contracts outside on the Windward side. This included"switching" (really capping a few pipes) out of a solar water heater into electric, but upon further investigation other plumbers quoted well under $500.
Was that the manager slow at getting a quote to us, but that deliberate ripping-off of consumers should not be condoned.

Scheduled a repair on Friday to Get a Saturday job, Involving 12 and 2:00pm. I predicted several times Saturday, from 1:00 to 2:00pm. The dispatchers left messages with Allen, and were very useful but he was unresponsive to the messages did not return my calls.

Yea! Joe came out of Kaimaiina Plumbing, was professional quick, on time, and ready to clean the house drain very quickly. This was after first plumber didn't call us back on Friday and then Monday calls and says that he does not have the ideal right truck/equipment until later per week, the next plumber arrived, attempted to snake, and stated he could not clear the clog because his hose was not long enough and had been worried about a busted pipe, & stated you want a different plumber. We called Kaimaiina Plumbing who put the appt up straight away and we got Joe who went to it and all was good, everything was flushing again and draining right. As a property manager I have used a plenty of technicians. I will not name names of the ones that are terrible but I shall praise the good ones. Kaimaaiina Plumbing Iwill ask for Joe and'm calling you first time. You've got a good one with Joe in your business. Mahalo!

Terrell went over and beyond his call of duty and helped me along with my plumbing issues more than he was required to. This type of aid comes in especially handy for moms. He was very knowledgeable and I felt as though he cared about the job he did at my home, which helped make me comfy with his or her services.

Home Depot should get rid of their contract with them. KP don't reply. Receptionist said she emailed me about the quotation and never got anything. Not one email or a phone call. I had been told that I will need to submit pictures for our solar heater replacement. I did and no reply before I phoned them.
Quote was large. $1000 more than other quotes on the staircase. I wound up calling a company and absolutely not buying the item.

The water heater died on the holiday break; filed a replacement petition into Kamaaina and Home Depot delivered Terrell. 2 highlights: Terrell showed up bright and early the very next morning and substituted with a 40 gallon (currently 38) water heater at less than two hours. On top of this, Terrell was adapted to some conditions to find the job done, and professional, polite. Very happy with Kamaaina, Terrell's currently on my head to record for home repairs! Highly recommended with no bookings.

Allen and his team did a great job. From to picking fixtures to the pricing and timely installation, directing us. I'll certainly use their services again. The hot water heater is a savings.

Don't use them! Establish an appointment together a week appointment was 9AM and no calls of them being late, and nothing. Called the firm and they said he was on his way but gave no time frame. Waited until 10AM and still no one showed up. Called them to cancel and them giving me excuse they couldn't find available. And they man tells me"oh no parking we cannot do it" what a total wasted of my time awaiting them.

Amazing support! I had an pipes crisis, and they had been the only company out of the I. The plumber had the problem and the price was reasonable. I give them my highest rating! Awesome business!

Kamaina pipes are unique and my experience with them was great.The guy who came was called Allan and I will highly recommend him being very knowledgeable about the issue we needed and is top notch in every way .wonderful trustworthy company.In addition their prices are very fair!

Since there was a leak under the kitchen sink, I predicted at about 9:00 in the morning. The girl (she had been rude, exactly like the other commenters stated ) took my name and number and said she'd call me . I phoned back at 4:30, and the girl who answered the phone, said the girl I had talked to, had gone for the afternoon. She'd leave a notice. Well, fast forward the following day. I hadn't heard from them by 9:00 so I phoned my normal plumber (Kamaaina was that the subcontractor on a home renovation). They did not understand when they could send somebody out, but on my doorsteps, a plumber showed up within a couple hours. This has been because he needed to search the island to start looking for the right hose, although it took about 3 hours to alter a hose. Can not fault him for that. Better to be certain rather than going back and forth to receive the right part.

We moved to a new place so our realtor called them to take care of the difficulties and a few things had to be fixed.
The first time when my husband took off from work and they did not show. The 2nd incident was that they said they did not have the right part(deja vu?) But instead of coming back they decided not to until now. On Tues the 7th the plumber kept calling my phone to program something and instead of leaving. I guess they automatically assume people do not work. When I finally get to speak to him he presumed he could come over that afternoon. I told him Thurs was a day because I went to shoot off on Thurs and he put the time between 12-3pm. Well it is Thurs and NO CALL/NO SHOW!!! Pissed me off even more since I needed to take off for him to come over and I will not be getting paid in my job! This time I made a complaint to currently and the realtor .
This is my first review of the company and allow me to tell you I am not impressed. Nobody should put their faith.
Our experience w/ them was our place we leased. A day was that they did not appear and yet another so they needed to come back where the incorrect part was attracted. This was back in 2015. A criticism wasn't made by me back. Moving to 2017 and it seems like the same thing all over again. I am surprised they're still in business w/ the number of reviews.
I know for sure NOT to use them, if I needed to hire someone from my pocket.

Beware this Provider I don't know how this firm is Home Depot's accredited installation expert. Assess for different businesses before hiring this company, to do installation work.

Appointment for work to be done from Home Depot. They had been not any show, known as office day, she said stuck of unique jobs, had to reschedule for another day. . Tech comes next afternoon, racing task, says he has a great deal of jobs. Did cluttered work that is bad. . He did a job that is better when he wasn't rushing and came back.

If I could have chosen zero stars, I would have.
Company to deal with. So disappointing. Direction should highly consider quitting business entirely, or restructuring.
This is probably the absolute worst service I've ever obtained, anywhere. Everybody in the workplace is very rude. They dont present themselves, they are not feiendly, and they cut you off before you can even give the info. Its like they were not brought up on utilizing manners. Was very unprofessional. I couldn't identify him by his jeans & tank top as a Kamaaina employee. After he replaced my water heater, he asked my boyfriend. My shower hasn't had any water & when he came back to look at it Because it had been substituted he said it wasn't the fault of the heater. He said to speak with my manager & he left. Upon talking to my resident manager, he stated that the valves were set up incorrectly. After we called back to find another plumber, then it took us more than two weeks to find outside somebody and they still haven't cone.

A person called me to schedule an appointment and no one arrived. Called them back and Whitney stated the appointment would be found by her and would call me back but she hadn't ever done. Called the company again and now no one is currently picking up a call. Additional complains were authentic. It is the Worst company...

They Don't call back. Don't follow up with you. Don't submit claims or at all. Plumber forgets to bring a replacement toilet to the job that is to replace. Stay away. Far away. So that they can replace this company with one that is tolerable and for u home defense policy holders complain to ahs. No aloha from the company at all

WORST plumbing company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and don't use them. American Home Shield contracted them. Per day, A job that should have taken took two weeks. In addition to this, nobody at the pipes office could give information at work (we were selling the house and off stairs ), never showed up on time (or at all in a few instances ). The supervisor was never available to speak to us. I have no idea how this company is even in company. Stay clear.

I called Kamaaina plumbing for a fix, and was asked to send them pictures so that they can give me a better quote. I didn't receive a call back after I took the photos and sent it. Ouch!
