I phoned in the morning, to put up an appointment to drains along with the sewer to be cleaned. Manny was able to set it up for later. What I liked is that mails were received by me such as at one point he was somewhat delayed at another place, so my appointment was corrected, only by an hour or so. I got an email that he had been on his way, and he made it within the time slot. There was. He worked and cleaned out everything. Another upside; Manny is personable and quite pleasant.

Manny is THE man! My bathroom emptied to my superb and a Friday night was inaccessible. I relentlessly emailed and telephoned every plumber. They kept me or were either inaccessible. I sent them a photo of my faucet Saturday and they answered after with a quote of $290, for the labor and three replacement parts. I chose for Monday at 9:30 a.m. but didn't understand that they were planning to telephone to confirm. They called at 8:00 a.m. however that I was sleeping and didn't hear the telephone. After phoning once more, they cancelled my appointment, and that I discovered 45 minutes when I checked my voice mail and woke up. This has been the only encounter an encounter that is positive. I wish they'd told me once I left the appointment which they would be phoning 90 minutes before to affirm that I was. Fortunately they were able to schedule me for a 3:00 p.m. appointment the identical day. The plumber came on time and fixed the problem. He needed to use a pipe cutter and replace the 3 parts. But looking at the pipes that are rusted-out that are thin that he took out, I am not surprised they do not last. Anyway, the service was fast and considerate, the cost was fair, and it is good to have a plumber for problems. Highly suggested.

Manny lived up to his reputation. He assessed that the situation without beating about the bush and came immediately. He was honest enough to say that I really don't need any work done now as the ejector pump is working fine.

We needed a bathtub drain unclogged at a pinch and Manny was able to come the day. He also took off his shoes before coming into the flat, and was courteous, professional. His pricing was reasonable and it had been as great as with a bad bathtub clog an experience can possibly be. We will call him again later on if we have some plumbing problems!

Manny answered the phone at 7:45 a.m. and said he would come . However, Manny was true to his word and all went to plan -- I really appreciated the modest technological touches that added to my confidence -- he texted and called first to ask for images of my under-sink area in order to make sure that he had the appropriate components for the repair; afterward I received automatic emails letting me know if he was en route, in addition to if he was coming. He ran a water test, assessed the circumstance, went outside for components, arrived back, fixed my pipe, then arrived on time and was on his way within approximately 45 minutes!
Woke up Sunday morning and started calling plumbers with Yelp evaluations that were adequate. Manny and Manhattan Sewer Drain were second on the listing. The place, which I so were fine and have used before, did not even answer the phone I got a voicemail greeting telling me to call back during business hours M-F. However, I Have A NON-WORKING KITCHEN SINK!!!
Last note who are railing about prices. I simply don't know what to tell you except this is NYC -- it is expensive to run an on-call specialist service business too and it is one of the most expensive cities in the world. I suppose plumbing may cost a little less in towns but then you have to reside in that city that is other. I see this is a theme on vet reviews also. It does stink to have to cough up a great deal of dough but it does not mean someone is trying to fleece you. They have to cover their costs be there for you once you want them and in order to keep their business afloat! As for mepersonally, my repair cost in the neighborhood of $600 which was reasonable in my novel for the support provided including components and the time. I added a gratuity (cash along with a gourmet chocolate bar) to express my thanks for the quick and professional support especially outside of normal business hours. I expect Manny remains in business for a very long time to come!
Returned from holiday following 23 hours of travel and flight delays. Turned on kitchen sink and had a pond in my kitchen. This was 1 a.m. between a Saturday and a Sunday.
I must mention that this was not just any Sunday, but a snowy one to boot with roads all slushy from an Saturday snowstorm.

For more than a year our building super and the plumbers of the building unclogged our bathroom repeatedly. It would be ok for awhile clog a profit. Figuring out that the issue is between two apartments, and he immediately and fixed both apartments' problems simultaneously! All the while he's the best man.
