Monty sounded nice and I was excited to use him to put in a bathroom for me. After we worked out a while for him to come do the work, he declined the job because he was interested in working in family homes. Because I have a condo in a complex, he didn't need to take care of the obligations. I can understand that a bit frustrated that I am back to the drawing board.

Monty's Plumbing came out and replaced seven pipes lines and valves. I called, and they responded and did the job the identical day. Reasonable pricing. Really professional. If I need plumbing work I'll call them again.

I discovered Monty's because of the great reviews on Yelp and from my experience they're well deserved! A gas line was installed by KC we also added a fireplace that was downstairs and a log lighter, and found upstairs. He did a great job at en cost that is fair, and was super nice to handle. I strongly recommend him and will use him again on potential plumbing needs.

KC is the BEST. Problems were repaired by him within my house that were unfixable to other pipes. Plus, he was able to fix current problems in place without expensive demolition along with other"recommended" repairs which I'd been quoted. Look, it's plumbing, not a Mercedes. We heard about KC/Monty's Plumbing from several friends who just had some work and they were both happy with his work and professionalism. We had just found out because it was a weekend get a temporary fix as fast as possible and at least we actually wished to locate, and we had a slab leak in the water pipe resulting in the kitchen in a closet. Unfortunately KC was out of town but he still answered his phone and gave recommendations for escape detection and"cleanup" businesses of which were Great
We made a decision to slow down and find another couple of bids. What really impressed us with KC was he gave his frank assessment of where we ought to do the re-route and (which differed a bit from previous companies) but since we had some strange nook and crannies with our walls etc. he wished to bring in another pair of"eyes" to evaluate what he was seeing and if it'd be the most direct and best course course of action. Dave was introduced in by him, and they conferred and came up with a plan that would wind up being easy, direct and might save us a whole lot of repair work later on.
Due to the fact that it was still a re-route, he wished to get his entire crew in order that they could find the job done for us since it was during one of the scorcher of days we had here in San Diego 48, involved. Their"attack" strategy worked without a hitch and were able to get it done within a half every day vs the entire day which was planned. The quoted price stayed the same, they cleaned up after themselves and we are happy to have the ability to operate the dishwasher. Thanks guys!

Set up (this is a tough job). Looks and works great today. He also fixed a problem that I had not expected to fix -- my Takagi tankless water heater wouldn't stay on with my brand new bathtub (flow rate too low). It took him all of 5 minutes to fix, and I've been working about that problem for 3 years while I took my showers by running water in my sink.
Needed to find a kitchen faucet place replaced and it turned out that my top of my kitchen cabinets were too thick to your Kohler fixture I bought to go all of the way through. The problem was pointed out by kevin, and moved ahead and sawed round the cabinet holes enough to get the brand new fixtures

Super friendly and pleasant over the phone, assisted me contact a different contractor to help save me money. I would use this provider again.

Zero stars. I left two voicemails and called several times, on either the number and the additional scheduling amount that is on their voicemail message. No response.
Having just purchased a home, I would have given them a good deal of company over repairs and many projects. Their loss.

Per my husband, the service and work of KC = 5 stars. I hope we will not have some plumbing problems in the not too distant future, but he's now on our list of"professionals who wear capes". We thank him and will be referring him for plumbing needs!
I didn't have the joy of fulfilling KC in person, but my husband was very pleased with the services rendered. Even though KC was fairly booked for the afternoon, he had been kind enough to swing quickly after a job. It was a very simple replacement of the pipe resulting in our water heater, and he was able to repair with parts. Hubster said KC was very kind and a joy to use. Cost was reasonable for a crisis service. I was happy to return into a disaster that is resolved. Wife rule that was Joyful fulfilled.
I left for work and entered our garage to discover a miniature version of the Bellagio's water show gushing over our water heater. KC was referred to us by our go-to handyman, Chad.

Casey is the most honest, educated and caring plumber I have ever contracted! Our household has been calling the pipes of Montey for many of our plumbing needs because 2008 and we are extremely grateful to have found Montey's pipes.

Called the next morning and had a plumber at my home bright and early. He was friendly and did more than I expected him to do. Job and great but fixed our shower that previous plumbers couldn't figure out what the issue was. Highly recommend!

My spouse and I purchased an older home also like many homes, it's issues. The roof needs repairing, the electric needs repairing, etc.. So, when the water at the master bath shower leaked into a trickle, then we knew something was up. He determined that we had new pipes, and was going to charge us $8,400 to do it (providing us a"summer reduction" because he was going to charge us $13,000).
Well, before we were going to do anything, we were going to be damn sure that we had new pipes, so we called KC together with Monty's Plumbing. He was courteous came outside, played with my dog, and assessed our pipes. Turns out, our pipes were fine, and he fixed our water pressure dilemma . His charge? $70. SEVENTY DOLLARS. KC knew he might have charged a lot more than just $70, and that what the previous bid was and we'd have paid it. He had been totally honest. I can't recommend him enough.
