Our water heater setup team has 30 years of expertise, and we have installed over 100,000 water heaters. While we are proud of those numbers, it is the degree of performance at and our ability to bring business owners and families functionality and that the comfort they deserve. Water heaters are crucial to a fully working structure, and their significance motivated us to specialize in their upkeep, repair, and installation. You'll come across lots of"Jacks of all trades" which can do plumbing, HVAC, and water heater solutions, however we also caution you to be wary of service providers who could be spreading themselves a little too thin. We want focus and specialized experience to do what we do at the level we do it. Installation team and our water heater replacement is also 24/7, there days a week to follow along. At making people comfortable, we began Payless Water Heaters with the goal of becoming the finest in the business.

The business was quick and very professional to send a tech same day. So we knew that to be aware of, that helped put our minds at ease they also sent a picture of our tech.
I've never written a yelp inspection before but feel the need to do to let this business know this tech is wonderful.
Beyond 5 stars for your tech, Evan B for going out of his way to create the process of replacing our broken water heater (and resulting flooding ) as quickly as possible. He was exceptionally professional and spoke to our home warranty individuals, and he answered all of them, even though we needed to keep bugging him with questions.
Overall, I recommend this company!
Alex was great. Came out to assess the situation with our water heater within 4th of July weekend. They had a particular size they made it happen using a quick install. We have hit water!!
My water heater required to be replaced. Alex Garcia did a fantastic job. He was speedy and knowledgeable about what it took to get the setup .
On getting a service technician to my home on a 16, they were speedy and responsive.
Had a leaky Noritz tankless water heater so I called Payless Water Heaters. They were polite to speak to on the telephone and had a technician (Jose P.) in my house within a few hours. Jose was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. Jose was able to get the replacement component I had shipped under warranty and called the producer after scrutinizing my device. When the part arrived Jose came back and made the repairs. The procedure was simple and fast - hassles. When paying by check which I 12, they offer a discount. Pricing was fair. Thanks Jose!
My 14 year old water heater gave out and had to have replaced. Alex arrived in replacing my water heater because of the utility closet where my water heater is 26, he faced a challenge. The supervisor of alex came out to help and they did an wonderful job. Alex did a great job, took his time to be certain everything came out perfect and made certain that everything was up to code. I strongly recommend Alex to get job done right.
Nothing Payless about this company. $85 to appear regardless of your choice. I get that part. But here is the actual jab. For what they call Ignition System-basic restoration support $630.
Now this was a rental house and that I wasn't there. I just talked to the tech over the phone and he explained to me--as if he was studying a script-that they do not offer an itemized invoice but rather a bandaid, platinum, silver....services with various rates. What a joke.
On the statement components just $630 or no mention of hourly labour cost. I asked the tech how long will the project take, he said 45 minutes.
CALL AT YOUR OWN PERIL.
Really disappointing and sad.
Funny thing is what I invested the money on or that I don't know what the man did and that I spent 630. I guess that I got the service that means near your eyes, give them your credit card information. On which you spent $630 and do not ask.
Speedy response time. Had water in about two hours. Michael S. went over and beyond. A+ for their customer services!
Up on a Sunday morning, took a shower. They and called Payless had a technician at my house a few hours later. They identified that the matter, and although they did not have the infrequent part I needed for my own water heater in the vehicle, they came back the next day (Monday) and swapped it out. They were not just on time, however, they called and sent a text with information and a picture of the technician. Both James and Armando were clean using their job, quick, and cordial. These are my go to guys for water heater work.
We had our water heater lately stop functioning. By the following morning, Payless Water Heaters had obtained consent from our insurance company. Michael S has been prepared and professional and arrived promptly at 9:45 am. He was careful install and to protect walls and our floors throughout removal. All plumbing work has been brought up to current standards since our unit was older. After finishing the task, you could not even tell that job was completed (except that we now had hot water!) I would advise Michael S and Payless Water Heaters to anybody who's currently searching for an affordable plumber in the OC area.
I'd say I paid more for just light. $399 with discounts added. Many they supposed imitation discount that was hidden. If we'd hunt more could've saved a whole lot!
My water heater has been inspected by town mid 2015, when I had a leak; Fedality insurance called within their contractor who maintained there isn't any ventilation(that we've, no intrusion strap (that we have) we want a new stand (the older one functioning ok. The insurance will pay $1750 and I must pay additional $600 to meet the code requirement.
Jose was quite favorable, explained everything and He will pull on the permit from city after installation to be sure we are after the code. No fresh stand no pan that is fresh, no new earthquakes strap. He did a tidy intallation in under 3 hours
I phoned Payless, their representative confirmed that we meet the code requirement, he replaced the heater, set up new joint to your pum and just a faucet for $1700.
Joey Q. Installed a 75 gallon water heater for us on Sunday at Yorba Linda. Outstanding service; considerate and professional! 100 percent of the job completed & will highly recommend his services!
Really impressed with the service we received. Our technician, José, took pride in his work and was thorough. Really pleased with all facets of getting our own water heater replaced.
Polite, professional and comprehension are just a few words to describe my interaction with Juan and Jesse! The communication with all the men with their office and here was quick when requesting info. Great job!!!! Thank you!
This company tried to bill $1700 for a brand new water heater, my mother set up - thank God she phoned me. As the conversations went to the price came down $350. But they were exposed and should be ashamed of them. She didn't have them do the work but needed to cover $ service fee to 85. I haven't been this angry in quite a while. Outrageous!
Just moved in and my water wasn't hot enough. Jose arrived and assessed the temperature and flipped it up a notch. So pleased! Thank you Jose!
Payless Water Heaters and our installer Jose P did a great job replacing our water heater. Very professional and did a comprehensive job. Was ontime for every appointment.
I called their number for free estimation to replace our water heater. A technician (called Danny) came and pushed to do that job, since he said he had everything ready in his truck. Before he completed his serviceHe asked us to write a 5 Stars score for him in Yelp so he can use bonus of"Disneyland tickets" from his supervisor. I answered that I would do this if the job was done. He"finished" his work and left in about 20 minutes.
Make an effort not to deal to this service seller, though some of them gave"5 Stars" rating.
The SoCalGas was called by us for service while the gasoline obtained stronger in the area. In contrasting with"Payless", a SoCalGas technician came, and found the gas flow at 46,380 ppm(!) , because of the setup done by Payless Water Heater.
While out his driving (less than 15 minutes so), we smelled the stronger gas around and called him back to check. He felt quite reluctantly came back, but advised us nothing incorrect with his setup, after spending 5 minutes to check. Moreover, he charged us additional $85 for this"service", since he said that was considered as"service call" and was nothing incorrect with his setup of the water heater.
Wow. After paying 3 other companies who failed to understand, find or resolve the problem we contacted Payless to figure out why our Noritz tankless heater continues to randomly shut off cold mornings. . .giving us cold morning showers. Scotty has been the first to actually understand what to look for, what to adjust and provide advice for the future operation of this device to us. Kudos to Scotty and to techs. Don't squander your money calling anyone else. . .and ask at Payless for Scotty.
Do not hire these men. Bait and
