Perry Aire Services

Locations. We consult company owners and home owners alike on what they can do to conserve energy and increase the comfort level they desire in their building or home. I could not be more happy with my choice. Perry Air was not. I travelled with Perry Air due to the relaxation I felt with my sales Frank and design consultant. Once the contract was signed by me my encounter with Perry Air did not stop. Frank continued until my shingles had been patched and to observe the job through all the way through the setup period and painted. By working late to finish the job on 16, the setup staff did a great job. In contrast to different builders I have worked with in the past, Perry Air delivered on their promises, but went above and beyond in their service. Paying a little extra for the peace of mind along with support that Perry Air delivered was worth every penny.

Comments

We recently had Perry Air perform routine maintenance on the HVAC system; they found nothing wrong and charged $338.50 for it after deceiving us with a lower cost. They charge a 115"dispatch" fee which we were lead to believe has been merely a minimum that could be additional to if labour surpassed that cost. Nope, they just charge you that charge on top of hourly rates, even if they hardly do anything. We called today and attempted to describe our dismay but. Go elsewhere, it'll be cheaper and misleading. Though, so in the event that you don't care about price, go for it I suppose, the technician was friendly. UPDATE: Changed my 2 star score because after leaving this particular review, it was seen by them refunded a part of the fee. They do seem to care about customer service/reviews in hindsight.

Customer service representative was rude and not helpful. They couldn't care less. Will find.
Don't take to await them. They may not show up.
Beware of this time block that is 12-4pm. It means some time after 6pm.

Perry Aire was given a Opportunity by me.We were disappointed that we called a competitor AC company, and had two distinct technicians come out to evaluate the issue. Following a 2nd and a 3rd ac expert (not Perry Aire) analyzed our AC system (which had been looked at and'fixed' by Perry Aire just a week earlier), they BOTH stated that Perry Aire had NOT performed the services stated on the ticket (which I showed them), which they had been amazed that any tech could have left our house and billed us the sum that they did.
Be aware that this is a very simple AC annual maintenance check, yet issues that are distinct were reported by all three Perry Aire technicians with our system. There was no answer, and since there were I needed to take off work for three total days. This was extremely frustrating, particularly since each time, they stated that they couldn't fix the issue and could send someone out - when that follow tech came up, they'd say that the issue was something else.
Don't suggest Perry Aire even for a maintenance check! You'll get scammed and squander money AND your own time!
We had an AC care check with Perry Aire. The initial tech was unable to identify or solve an issue and came. A second and third Perry Aire tech came out, new and different problems being found by each, and following the third left, our AC system BROKE!
. .then another opportunity. . .and I won't ever use them again nor recommend them.

Beware. Perry Aire may have the worst support of any firm I have ever experienced. They are lacking in customer service and unreliable. I was given a 12-4 window for HVAC fix (it seems like everybody is given that time range), so I stayed home from work. As you know from the reviews here, they did not show up. They didn't predict. I called the office and talked to Carla (I believe ), who was really agreeable. She said she would reach out into the tech. An hour later she called and said that they would be unable to get to me (and various different customers) because of power outage at the home the technician was now servicing. If the customer had a power outage that of course makes no sense for me personally, why not simply proceed to the job. That should make them beforehand, not. And by what Carla said, this impacted other clients besides me. Why no call to let me (us) know? That is customer service that is basic. Carla apologized and didn't try to reschedule for Wednesday (I already waited a week for a service call together ), but I dropped. I'll go with a business which has customer service that is better. Because if you can't be timely be respectful of others' time. Before I scheduled with this corporation I must have checked the reviews here. Beware. If you go with Perry Aire, you likely will be waiting all day with no support or a call letting you know they can't make it (unless you call them). There are too many other HVAC companies out there to deal with this.

Never in my life have I felt more disrespected from a contractor and he's the operator! What happened to the customer is always appropriate?? I guarantee, he's going to respond to the comment and defend his actions, but I don't want anyone to experience everything I went through. Please learn from my mistake and avoid Perry Aire.
1 day, flash forward. . .the leak is back and worse than before. I call Perry Aire and the technician says that he can come back another day at no cost. So I must stay home from work so they can fix an issue to fix. The technician claims that the pipe is not obstructed and the pipes had been at another location than when he found it (him along with another technician were the only ones at the loft ). He now claims there are other underlying issues (pipes set up incorrectly when they had been installed). Shouldn't he have captured these issues? I have water damage in my ceiling because they told me the issue was resolved and I turned the A/C back on. After he told me his visit would be for free, Finest part, now he needs to charge me a trip charge of $95.
Under no circumstances should you use Perry Aire Services. I had called them for emergency support one night because the A/C port close to my attic was leaking. They said the condensation pipe was obstructed and came out the time. So after they billed me $368 to dismiss nitrogen they wanted to charge me an additional $250 to clean out the exterior unit because the coils were a little cluttered. I dropped the $250 additional cleaning so they wrote"No call back warranty" on my bill. They also wrote the"drain today flows nicely". It is important to say that the services I paid for and signed was to resolve the leak coming out of my attic/vent, WHATEVER the cause of that may be.
So I phone the owner to whine. It appears he cares about his clients, so surely he'll take care of me and make this appropriate, after taking a look at the reviews. I had been mistaken. He blamed me (24 years old 1st time homebuyer), for not having it serviced on until he blamed me for another underlying issues with the plumbing, he blamed me for falling a $250 cleaning of the outdoor unit, etc.. Though his technicians were not upfront with me on day 1 and also let me know what the issue was, everything was my own fault. In addition, he said I could"Do it myself" when I didn't like their services. The one thing positive was that he didn't charge me the $95 his technician tried to squeeze out of me.

A very simple repair was created by perry Aire to my furnace. $95 billed for diagnostics and $256. I looked up the component online, while the technician was there. $17.31 So what is a fair markup to get a part in this industry? My understanding is that 100% is typical. That makes the component $34.62. However 1,379% are charging. I pointed this out to the technician and he said he charged the book price and I could telephone the office if I wished to talk it. So I did. The girl who answered the phone said the charge for the part includes the labour. Fine. Hourly labour for them is 131. An hour is generous for this particular job. So if you subtract the cost of labour out then they're currently charging $125 for the part. Now the markup is just 622%. I proposed they might want to charge a price for the part but they declined. So I just paid the bill, it's 24 degrees out. Perhaps this is considered a fair price in the HVAC company around here like a business that prides itself can do 28, but I feel.

We had difficulties with our dishwasher in the evening, nonetheless a tech came out to us in a very brief period of time. He was helpful and quite knowledgeable, fixed it and made sure it is fixed and we would not have any problems. He understood what he was doing and was very courteous.
We're really, really happy with the superb and quick service we received and highly recommend this provider! Thank you

Were Told That the service call was 138 for the 1st hour, guy fixed Difficulty in 50 mins and charged me $310 billing at 2.5 hrs because he traveled to mePersonally, should went with Woodbridge guy Who had no service call Charge, I feel ripped off Understand one said Some of this while on the Telephone Only $138 for service call

I am going to use them to get an A/C replacement.
Steve Perry the owner is among the most educated pipes.
I highly recommend.
I've used back for a complex plumbing heating occupation. This included installing Burhnam boilers A/C ductwork, and underfloor Pex piping.

I have typical of the start of AC season, and an older condominium in Arlington, the device broke. So, I called Perry Aire. They could come out as the next day. They have been prompt, finished a repair of the device under 3 weeks. I would employ them to do it although the job was costly.

I've been really happy with Perry aire. They have come out a few times for a check to be sure things were functioning correctly. Not long after there went a component outside, and they fixed it, the issues I had been having were fixed and my invoice is lower since I blasted the heat in the winter weren't functioning properly. Anyhow I have a split unit and they are authorized repair firm of These components. I believe Jeremy (?) Is and he is nice and thorough and knowledgeable about the computer system. Will keep using them.

Additionally, I had recommended Perry Aire. I advised him to have Steve send over one of his men to have a look (without even knowing about the prior estimate), and the Perry Aire men came out and fixed the problem for $80 value of parts and labour. Crazy. Steve and his team are definitely our go to men for many things HVAC.
I had a new house built in Arlington, and Perry Aire did the installation of the geothermal system. On the telephone with Steve getting information concerning the various options, Earlier I had them perform the installation, I invested a lot of time, and I had been impressed with his understanding of geothermal systems. They did the setup and I'm very happy with the work that they did. Steve took complete ownership of the whole HVAC system and has been on site to tweak the machine several times since we moved (some times before I understood there were any difficulties.) Steve Perry is the man, if you're considering residing in Arlington.

I need an ERV installed in my house which is over tight. This isn't a small job - a 4+ million dollar job to the equipment and install. A friend recommended to me perry Aire and that I was quite impressed. The proprietor came by my house the day after I did a stroll and contacted them. He presented with a few options and was very knowledgeable. I believed I had found the right company for your job. He promised a comprehensive quote.
There might be extenuating circumstances here I really don't know about. And, I can't comment on their workmanship. I've never had to work so hard to turn into a client. . So I won't ever be one.
Well, that has been nearly a month past. I have gone back and forth on events using their workplace manger. She informed me that they were completely dependent on the estimator who"is quite tied up on a sizable job." Separately, I made two voicemails directly for the owner on his cell phone (he gave me his personal card) and have not gotten a reply.

My heating pump took a dive. Obviously it occurred on the cold day of the season. Had always used R.B.Payne previously. They're pricy but great. Someone told me about Perry Aire back so I gave them a call. The office woman was cool. I had a tech at my house. That is amazing for the truth that I reside in Spotsylvania in the middle of nowhere. My heat was running in about half an hour and up. The tech was nice and the support cost a good deal less than I've ever paid for hvac support. Very pleased! I'll use them again for sure!

Very techs and courteous office but they charged me $ 175 to get a photo cell that doesn't cost more than $25 online. When I questioned the price, they said"That's the price we will stick with." They did great work but the price for that part seemed way out online.

I was VERY enthusiastic about Perry Air Services as the AC firm of my choice for the installation of a system at my home. I dealt directly with the owner. Initially, Steve said he would be connected with me the"first of the week" following my 1st telephone on Friday (2 weeks back ). From the following Friday, with obtained no call or message, I called again & Steve made an appt for mid-day the next day, Saturday. He was delayed and we fulfilled instead day --which was fine THEN. He assessed what had to be done &, given my stated demand for timeliness, said he would"attempt" to get back to me with a proposal Tuesday of last week. Again, no communication from him. His office and I talked near close of business & was told that they would communicate my message. Day I also left a text as well as a voicemail on his cell phone, reconfirming my deadline for task completion. No return call that day, Saturday, or the entire day. Eventually I called his office later afternoon to communicate the next"Please cancel any further efforts by your company. I want to be able to trust and communicate with a builder to provide on what he promises." I'm delayed an additional 2 wks. over nothing but empty promises. I was lucky to avoid more serious costs that are prospective without results!
