Great business! I've had to use them and every moment, the job is completed with a grin and quickly. They answered all of my queries and are personable. I've never believed his fees were not worth the job at hand.

We purchased a European bathroom thatafter reading the reviews--turns out for a hard to put in version.
The guys from Plumbline stuck onto it and made sure the job was completed despite also the configuration of our toilet and the struggles of the bathroom.
We use these guys for plumbing needs.

Not certain where the negative reviews came from here..but my encounter with him was first rate. I have been ripped off by plumbers within this town that it s so refreshing to find somebody who's nice and honest.
Jude is fantastic. He s fair and capable. He s done plumbing and gas work for me and doesn't nickel and dime his clients. He knows his plumbing and s old school. I am

Jude came to the house, was courteous and prompt. Following a quick look, he told us we had a new Intellivent controller. Based on my previous good experience, I recognized what he advocated and paid approximately $350 for your part and an additional $250 for labour and identification more than a 2 day time span. The heater began working fine.
When it expired per Plumbline's 30-day warranty, we called Jude up and requested him to come take a look. He said he would come during the following day and could not come over. He called the following day and stated he could come. Ever the customer that was joyful, I took off work to meet him in my house, and he had been about 4 hours. He showed up with a younger gentleman who had been really nice and wanted to assist us. His hands, however threw in the air and caused me to sign an agreement that he was recommending a new hot water heater . . .without even seeking to find out what was wrong. The young guy explained he went to perform extra research for us and questioned Jude on his identification.
Total days spent without water: 29.
We called a few other plumbers who supplied us and did our own research and ended up buying a new burner assembly right from the provider for $120 bucks and installed it ourselves. We're not sure if the initial Intellivent actually had to be replaced or not. But Jude did not really hold himself and wasn't willing to take a look the second time.

I've used these guys for double and every time that they provide me with clean fast and reliable plumbing services. They can find solution .
Highly Suggested to all.
Superb plumbing solutions.

Jude in Plumbline Plumbers is a rare thing! He is professional, educated, and obviously believes in making sure that the client is satisfied with a job well done. Plumbing services were managed in a specialist fashion with respect to my house and a whole focus on getting it done correctly. Beware of the builders that Washington, D.C. hires to deal with emergency sewage problems, they're completely unprofessional and operate with a total disregard for the homeowners needs. Jude was instrumental in ensuring the DC water builders didn't leave prior to making sure that the sewer was open and flowing. I highly recommend Jude and Plumbline Plumbers for all of your plumbing needs.

The toilet had just been remodeled and had not been employed since then, so I named the builder who did the work. Maybe he had missed something?
I explained what happened and called Plumbline, the next day. I asked that they refund the $250 for snaking the bathtub drain. To their credit, they did not argue and immediately issued a refund for the $250, although I expected a fight.
But WOW - expensive. I hired them to put in a garbage disposal and snake a bathtub drain using a renter in a investment condominium. The garbage disposal was $450. No complications, no issues - which is their apartment fee.
Good things . They answered the phone, they were fine on the phone and they were prompt. They also issued a refund without a significant fight.
Bottom line: you are going to cover it, although they're considerate and quick. They also may have some men who are simply looking or experienced to jack up the price. Beware.
He drove all the way to look at his work and was a total champ. He assessed and found. The trap was visible behind a panel located just outside the restroom. . .which the Plumbline man had never used. Oops. The pipes opened and used a shop vac that was simple to remove about a quart of water. No obstruction was discovered and the drain has been mended.
I wanted a second opinion, and so I advised the Plumbline man to hold off. Even though they had not solved the issue, they charged me an extra $250 to snake the bathtub drain. So that was $700 down the drain to get a garbage disposal. Ouch. For $700 I could have bought a goat.
They called me to notify me that the snaken't went through and spent a few hours snaking the bathtub drain, something was being hit by them , the snake came glistening back and the trap was likely broken. I was advised by them that they would need to divide the concrete. When they charged $450 for a garbage disposal, then I can not imagine what they would have billed for that sort of work.

I called Plumbline in a panic once I looked up to find my ceiling warping and heard a drip overhead. As a homeowner, I almost had a breakdown. Plumbline to the rescue (through the always-reliable Yelp!) . I called at 9pm and they offered to come within the next two hours. We decided to wait till Saturday. Our plumber recognized, arrived, and solved the problem in one hour and at a really reasonable price.
Damage aside and all said, I think I will make it. .
Note to people knew for this minefield: your plumbing problem may be solved, but you may also have pretty holes on your walls/ceilings to show for it. Luckily, Plumbline put me up with a builder to do the wall repair.

Plumbline is as efficient and has as excellent customer service since it did a year or two ago. A garbage disposal repair was so, and it was handled by Jude quickly. It was something that appeared to be quite simple, and simple, but not a DIY job that I could've done. After the service cost, the total for your repair was reasonable - they did not overcharge, around that which I expected for such a small matter, and it had been. I am not sure what other reviewers experienced, since I didn't have to replace the disposal, thankfully. I'm glad to have discovered such a great business.

Answered the telephone'Hello' and if the person answering was Plumbline that I had to ask. Wanted $75 to deliver an estimate. Do not bother to go further.

Several months ago I was trying to fix a leak myself and screwed up; old capitol hill houses that haven't been 100% gutted are kind of jury-rigged into working state, and it takes a seasoned pro to manage a few of the mad stuff (like compressed/stripped/sanded aluminum pipes).
I called 3 or 2 locations and Plumbline was able to send someone. Forgot the man's name, but he was polite, and on-time, used parts I solved the issue and had. 2 weeks later after I tried using it when developed a slow leak , same man came out to tighten it, that solved the issue on my agenda. The touch-up was covered under their labour guarantee, obviously, and I haven't had any additional issues.
All technicians round DC seem excessively pricey, they all have a $75+ service call charge and parts and labor, and a less scrupulous one may have tried to inform me I'd need to cut damaged pipe away and reweld an expansion in a significantly greater price. Plumbline is there when I call and I'm happy with their responsiveness and operate, I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

My roomie did a quick search and directed me toward the Yelp inspection for Plumbline Plumbers.
Plumbline sent Tony - the man cited as' inexperienced' in another inspection. Tony called to let me know when he arrived promptly at 5:30, and was a couple of minutes away. He also made sure there weren't any other pipes issues causing the back-up in the tub, took good care of the problem, told me I could prevent it in the future, and was professional. He was knowledgeable quick, and effective.
I was tired of this giving them a telephone based from just one Yelp inspection, and furthermore a Yelp review posted half a year ago from somebody who does not possess a well-established Yelp presence or even a photo - however I was delighted with Tony and Plumbline, and would recommend their services to friends & acquaintances without hesitation.
Three girls, one bathroom. After a few days of water and several quick-fix attempts involving whole bottles of draino, vinegar & baking soda, there has been a service call necessary.

Quick, lovely. Camille (manager) took responsibility for a miscommunication error and provided a fantastic deal for our next support. Highly suggested for service and a fix that was fast.

They assessed my problem, which I paid for and arrived, but they tried to bill $450 to replace a garbage disposal, so I had somebody else do it. Not sure where 450 flat speed came from, but that is roughly $350/hr for labor. yikes.

Plumbline was called by me after reading the testimonials here. I had a new hot water heater. Luke came over and assessed the situation. My old electric water heater went out and that I wanted to replace it. He sent his electrician to find out if I had amps out. I was told by the electrician I had 200 amps and recommended I get the unit that was 40amp. Luke called me back saying that he could install an 80Amp device for $3,100!! My jaw hit the ground. He explained a new line would have to be run out of the panel box. The panel box is 14 feet in the device. I inquired the electric portion of the invoice was he told me $800.00! I told him that the electrician advocated the 40amp unit and I'd feel better with that. He gruffed a little and said" Well. . That means I have to call my supplier back and get an entirely new cost..." He never called me back...
I will post an update once it has been set up...
Update! Shannon with O'Neill Plumbing took care of the problem. I was called by him when he was in route. He was careful to put down rugs not to scratch the wood flooring, explained everything that he was going to do and did it. I then asked if he could install a garbage disposal, hook up my fridge and dishwasher and place in my new ikea sink and faucet. He said looked at it. . .hmmmm . . I really could do it today for 800.00. I told him I had to cut at a little as the fridge was somewhat tight. . He said very excitedly. ." I just got a fresh blah blah blah found that's kickass!" I will cut for you as a little bonus!" Done! I was thrilled with O'Neill, Shannon, and he handled the entire process with a smile and good attitude.
So that I could read reviews and specifications online o'Neil emailed me a quote and the version number of this unit. I'm having next week it set up.
O'Neil pipes was called by me . They were very knowledgeable and gave several suggestions to me. Every one was researched by me. We talked over the phone 4 times, they thanked me for calling and were nice. I am now getting a top efficient tankless hot water heater set up for 1,575.00 components and labour. Half the price of Plumbline... plus a larger unit...

My renter bathroom was clog after a second plumber messup a working bathroom and came! I called plumbline because of yelp inspection, they (Vendell) were here on time, the man explained that snaking will cost $290 + $40 service charges!!! I had been chock but didnt have much choice because the toilet fix asap is needed by my renters. He strove to snake and it dint work et came back and explained he going to need to take out the bathroom for a second $75, thats when I said I cannot do it, too uncooperative, I contend with him and he confessed to do it anyway for no extra price. The issue was fixed by me, I pay $330 rather than $405 way
I fill like they did a fantastic job but the cost is just a rip off for 30$ work, I actually asked him if there were brain surgeon, why there had been so expensive???

I yelped to find a plumber and had this weekend to a clogged upward bath tub. Do not be deceived by another review on here these men are pirates. I knew all that was needed was to get plug to be snaked and those folks turned up on time with the snake. The problem I had was that the guy was at my home for less than 15 minutes but had the nerve to charge me $275 for the privilege. I have never used a plumber so I don't know whether this really is the going rate, but I believed that this price was excessive. They did not even need to journey but 10 blocks for my home!

Ridiculous! My perception was that we'd be paying the $29.99 for your plumber to come and assess the problem, and inform us what was wrong. We assumed that once they figured out the problem, they would describe it to us and quote us a price.
Then I got a call asking him to get the speech of our place, which the plumber did not have despite the fact that I'd given it.
Later, to add salt into the wound, I called them to complain about the unreasonable cost, and they replied that if they would agree to repay the cash (which I'd never asked for, I wanted to make a more sensible arrangement)they believed they should not have to because all of the cash from the coupon went into Angie's List, and they deserved to be compensated for the service they had provided. They stated that they do not like the policy of"the client is always right" because in this situation we (the customers) were definitely incorrect. I responded by explaining that it is not our concern what their business agreement with Angie's List is, and it is their responsibility. Furthermore, I noticed we paid for a consultation, and that is all we wanted/expected to receive; had we been informed what the problem was and what the price is to fix it, we'd have denied the service and done it searched for a less costly alternative. Additionally, I added that had the plumber been somewhat nicer, or had he mentioned the total cost of the fix prior to performing it, we'd have been happy to pay $40 or so. We're happy we are getting our money back as it was.
Following our very first callwe were told we'd find a call back to schedule a moment when a plumber can visit. A few days later we called again, because we had not heard from them, and after having to voicemail (along with a full mailbox)we finally managed to reach the identical person we'd spoken to before. He explained my problem was"fallen through the cracks" and that that was why we had not received a call back, but he at least seemed to keep in mind the 2 issues we'd described to him as needing attention.
We called these technicians exactly the same day we purchased a $29.99 Angie's listing"Big Deal" to get a"Service Call" because we had been having two issues: 1) following long rainy periods, my downstairs neighbors with whom we share a rowhouse could hear a leaking noise in the walls, and 2) our cold water pressure would steadily decline the longer a faucet was kept running, though the hot water pressure was normal.
In 11 a.m., with no plumber in sight nor any calls about it, I called the service only to be told that there had been a"mix-up" which we had been on the schedule for the day, from 2-4. Our neighbor had to go to work, and I needed to take the rest of the day off to wait for this particular person.

After the plumber finally revealed, he immediately said that the flow was a"roofing issue" that he could not cope with (why he could not state this over the phone, I will never understand ), and then took a look at the pressure issue. In the course of approximately 5 minutes, he reached into the water main, flicked his wrist, and then turned about and recognized the problem as an erroneously turned valve, and then calmly explained that we owed this person $75 for the five minute diagnosis/fix (that is in addition to the $30 voucher ). He did not preemptively clarify the problem to me (Iwould've been pleased to turn the knob had I understood the price ), he did not supply a quotation for mending , and he did not give me the choice to decline the service. He looked at the valve, fixed it, and reached in. Less than 10 minutes were taken by the visit, along with the diagnosis/fix took approximately 10 minutes. If they seriously intend to charge $250 for this sort of thing, they will be out of business shortly.

Produced and appointment and was told someone would be available later in the day. Afterwards I affirmed the appointment. The guy said he had been on his way and he never revealed. I called and nobody else picked up his telephone and I never heard from anybody in plumbline. I hope he's okay but I found it odd that nobody ever called me personally to inform me what occurred.

I phoned Plumbline and they sent out someone right away. I mentioned discovering them Yelp and obtained $35 off the talk fee (aka the"walk in the door" fee). I had a fair idea of what could have become the problem, after doing research on the internet. The guy came and literally tightened some stuff with his bare hands and then said"you coulda done yourself" and then presented me a total of $175!!! I kid you not- that was at my home for approximately 20 minutes total. Yes, they do work. But in my opinion- I should've tried this issue myself and saved the enormous price. They overpriced. I did like the fact that I didn't have a decision - that he took a look at it and began doing stuff and then bam! It had been fixed and I needed to cover w/o actually knowing exactly what the"hourly" rate was before fixing the occupation. Had I known that it was 135 longer (following the $40 to come over), I probably would have probably dropped. My inspection is summed up : anticipate to PAY and phone them and do your own research!
