Proactive Plumbing

Water pressure regulator was having issues going from 50 psi. I tried adjusting it but it continued to change.
When he got here he diagnosed the issues, talk to me through the procedure, and ultimately made the choice to keep the regulator.
I value the fact that he didn't automatically (up-sell) say to replace it that other technicians may have done. He said if I wanted him to come out a second time he'd put on the service call fee for now to some other water pressure regulator.

Mike was phoned by me after looking at yelp and he quoted me a price to replace the water pressure regulator and made it out within a couple of hours.
Mike was amazing; honest, fast response (630am, made it outside by 900am), also honest with pricing.

Mike was wonderful! Called on a Sunday and he was here in under thirty minutes. Fixed our problem under the sink in the bathroom very quickly and we were able to get on with our day and job we had started. Great and friendly service! Super reasonable and educated pricing. Mike to the rescue! Following a professional left us hanging and cut on our gasoline primary, Mike arrived as soon as I called to fix it, on a Sunday. Thank you for solving the problem and saving me digging up my entire yard!

Mike and his partner responded to my call for a water heater too quickly. I needed to cut my workout to adapt their incredible response period. Called at 10 am. Job done at 1 pm. Water from 140 pm.
He is my go to guy from now on.
Mike also place a complimentary gasket in my toilet tank that stopped a chronic aggravation leak.

Our shower would not turn away, so I phoned Proactive and Jennifer was so nice and responsive. She assessed with Mike and that he had been here in about 35 minutes. Professional, direct and got the work done. Plumbing since my uncle was a Master Plumber although costs are always shocking I understand the cost was fair. Knock on wood it had been my first time having to call a plumber. I will call Proactive While I need one again.

A cap fell at the toilet that got stuck.

They came out and Removed the clog in a cost I Anticipated. To unclog a toilet, I googled the cost and they came in at that price! We'll be using them , if we have any further issues!

My water heater pilot light has been moved out and I couldn't get it started AND there was a flow in the valve. I phoned Proactive Plumbing since we had no hot water and there was an escape. Mike walked through some quick fixes over the phone and got my heating functioning and the flow stopped. Much like that. Mike is the real thing. Me got my own issue repaired immediately and fixes right over the phone to save $ $. was saved my bacon by Mikes although our water is going to need to be replaced. You can be sure I'll use Proactive Plumbing for all plumbing requirements.

Couldn't be more impressed with Mike Baker and his team. Customer support, effort and seeing the job abilities and are as on point because their skills set.
The situation was explained their staff was connected over the weekend and first thing Monday morning, were back to the task fixing the escape. Carl was back Tuesday to reconnect everything he had capped off, SDG&E returned to turn the gas back on and all seemed to be back in business... till it was not.
Realized we had a gas leak called and they closed us down. We were referred by A friend to Proactive the day and they saved.

Range top wouldn't light and that I sent Mike a text to ask if he had any hints that are expert. Called me instantly and walked me through the procedure --realizing that there was air in the lineup, which pushed after conducting the external firepit for 15 minutes (re: Mike's suggestion). From that point, both indoor fireplace and the scope were back up and running within minutes. (Defeated, I was prepared to call SDG&E at the morning and get them back out here. Instead, problem solved and prepared to take the first hot shower in my home in a week)

Finest plumbing firm... Called them and they came right away, I'm quite happy with the job that has been done. Very was the problem and doing what to repair it.

These guys do good work and reasonably priced. I had a sewer line blockage. I shopped around and they were the only one I could locate on a short notice and fair cost. Very expert and friendly proprietor. Will use them again.

I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality, honest plumber who gets out to fix the problem quicker.
I called Proactive Plumbing after my 2 year old decided to flush some of his toys down the bathroom, within 30 minutes of my call Mike knocked on my door prepared to fix the problem. He was very proficient and gave a fair quote for his services to me. He cleaned up the mess and even got out the toys after eliminating the toilet immediately I'd made trying to fix it .

Thank you Mike! I'll definitely call again when something else breaks (ideally, this will not be for a while).
A day after my inspection came out, the owner called me and asked if he would have a chance to make things right. I was happy to have this occur. He came out the following day, checked everything over, mentioned that the remaining leak came from a bad tap. I bought a new one, which he installed no cost. In addition, he cleaned me my upstairs faucet. Furthermore, he asked where they went wrong and what they could have done better. Mistakes occur, but when you are willing to step up and make things right, that is good company!

At this point, I am wondering if something happened to the owner ,, and have given up hope that I'll hear from them.
I used their online form to attempt to reach them, emailed, and called. At this time their phone goes to a voicemail that is full and I have not got a response from some of the 3 emails I've sent.
I waited a week before calling to confirm that they had the contact information, when I didn't get the quote they guaranteed within 24 hours. With confirmed they did and that I should get an email by the end of the day. I did not and that was the last time I managed to reach a person through any contact procedure (4weeks ago).
I'm disappointed since I had such high hopes to write this review. After them come into my home and also quote a bathroom remodel (they looked good ), they just disappeared. I am not sure if something has happened to them or if they're still in business.

We had a drain that is discontinued and need to get it cleared. There was flood. Of course, this all happened around 11 pm. Called and they came within 35 minutes. Pretty impressed with this answer. This was the 2nd time I've used them and were really happy. Thanks!

This review is overdue, but I wanted to thank Mike, Miles and Steve that they provide in Proactive Plumbing!
Luckily I phoned Proactive Plumbing and got in touch. I told him all of the information that I had available and he said he would be over within the hour to attempt to get our plumbing operational again. We were so glad that he would take some time from his vacation!
We woke up into a sewer pipe that was clogged on New Year's Day. Toilets wouldn't flush filling water and water from the washing machine coming up on the restroom floor. It was a mess to say the least. It was the first day of this year and that means it had been a day that most business weren't open, even.
Mike also explained that this was most likely alternative to a problem that was greater. He had been right. A quick camera review caused light a collapse in the sewer line where the cast iron pipe aligns with the tank. There was origin intrusion and the pipe wasn't aligned with the tank. He proposed replacing the past couple of feet of the pipe re-aligned with the tank and pipe that contributes to the septic system, so that the roots could be removed. In addition, he suggested because our older home did not have one, that we add an easily accessible sewer clean outside. His quote was VERY REASONABLE. On top of that, he stated the following day, that the job could be started by Miles! I was surprised, because January 2nd, 2017 was a Federal Holiday. Proactive Plumbing has been helping my family !
I will call Proactive Plumbing for any future plumbing issues and strongly suggest them anyone that is in need of plumbing repairs.
Miles arrived discussed the repair together and began jackhammering the sidewalk and digging. He kept me informed of his progress, showed me that the roots that were removed, informed me and clarified the repair in detail. I was originally concerned that the quote may be increased by the parts, but that wasn't the situation. It was a much needed boot that connects the pipe with the septic tank and I was very happy to have new one. Towards the end of the repair, Mike and Steve showed up to help Miles. I felt as though we had the whole Proactive Plumbing firm working on our house! I could not have been more confident and service the business provided.
Mike got his equipment ready and assessed the circumstance, arrived and began working. He managed to receive our water after fighting a root intrusion into our main sewer 20, to drain. We're overjoyed to be able to use the water again!
