Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

From the moment I called to the moment the service tech left they were quite friendly and understood our difficulty and took care of it . It was something we needed fixed urgently and it was good to hear they didn't do an upward charge for after hours and were open 24 hours for service.
Our tech Robert was friendly and very knowledgeable. And was transparent about the possible expenses.

Company I've ever dealt with. Customer service is horrendous. Receptionist Cheryl is the individual I will go out of the way to tell anybody not to use this company and I've ever had to cope with

Called to make appointment, has been advised that they had a gap between 1-3. At 4:30, a representative called counseling they don't know if and if they could make it. Received an email counseling my service appointment was canceled?

RIPPED OFF! I needed to do something right then and there because we couldn't use the water anywhere in our home and was stuck. Since that time Iseemed online and've gotten estimates from other plumbers. I couldn't find 1 quote for sewer rodding which has been over $300. And they charged me $565.
Really? For what?
Scam artists

They come out and check out my plumbing not draining water. Refused to quote me drain rodding over the telephone so when they come out it is 565 bucks. They say I can get a reduction with a fantastic review though. Who asks to get a fantastic review prior to any services have been performed? Anyway... he goes to the bathroom and turns a valve in my main drain pipe and water goes down. I am thinking..."that is it? That's all it was?"
He says oh yeah that must have been it. There is a discount for you it is 462 bucks today.
He goes outside and runs an auger through my plumbing out and finds nothing. Tells me he sees nothing. And I say okay it is working alright now are you certain that it wasn't only that valve you flipped?

I hope when I do I will certainly call these guys, although I don't want their support again!
Ray was quite persistent and got it although I had a jolt that is very tough. All through the battle he promised me he would stick with it until it had been fixed. This was most comforting in that I had fears of a support call that finished without the problem being solved.
Service isn't inexpensive, but I think well worthwhile. To start with, they are usually prepared to reply and answer calls at all hours.
Ray wanted to make sure and tested it extensively to be sure once the clog seemed to be repaired. And this extra testing did not drive the cost up.
Next, you have confidence that they'll appear. Email verification goes out after producing appointment, and then you're contacted as they're on their way.

David (#3188) arrived quickly to our house if we had our sewer setup. He had been thorough and got to the root of the problem. He fixed it gave us hints to prevent it. We got back to us as quickly as Roto-Rooter and nobody had calls. Overall we had a great experience. They had a fair professional who solved our problem, quick response time, updates on locations of the plumber, and excellent customer service.

Jay# 1057 a wonderful man who does an amazing job. I would recommend him.

I called Roto-Rooter in 10pm Thanksgiving and am the next day, my plumbing were clean. No , not inexpensive but they guarantee for that your plumbing 6 months. On eliminating stinky standing water and one cannot set a price.
Who does not like to begin Thanksgiving Day with 5 pounds of pulled pork stuck in the pipes?! No kitchen sink. Use a dishwasher. And dishes piling up since this sink in the basement kitchen could drain. --No dishwasher or disposal there down but beggars can not be choosers when it should be Grandma's china!! if you are eating on plates
Now to gather the dishes.
After 3 distinct"snakes", several blasts of CO2, alteration together with the wet/dry vac, taking apart the pipes, and stinking up my house having the most horrendous aromas imaginable, it was time to throw in the towel.
And after seeing what was dripping from our plumbing, I didn't even blink if he informed me about the merchandise they market"Roto-Rooter Shield". A maintenance that digests additives, additives, fats, and detergents. $60, however, continues for a year.
Better to flush out the kitchen sink once a week as he suggests and also to use the Pipe Shield after a month (Oh, and don't push 5 pounds of pork your disposal), than to ever experience a Thanksgiving with no dishwasher or sink EVER again.
He gave tips to us. I loved it that not one of these tips were"Do not try to flush 5 pounds of meat down your plumbing!" --I believe by now, I understand that one. ;-RRB- But one suggestion is that you should fill up your sink with water and flip the switch. Will keep your pipes flushed.

Called earlier this afternoon & they stated they have a tech in my area who will come between 4 pm & 5 pm. I get a call from the dispatcher about 4:30 letting me know that they'll send a technician when one is freed up. I get another phone around 5:20, but I can not pick up since I'm on another line with a client. I call literally 3 minutes afterwards, and the dispatcher (Shawn) informs me that they shipped the tech into another place since they couldn't get a hold of me. This is the first time I'm hearing of this policy. I ask him to send another tech without verifying that I'm home. Nope -- its the company policy to verify first they send the tech into another job. It is after 6 pm and still no tech. I'm starting to believe that the dispatcher put me for giving mindset to him!
UPDATE: The tech (Robert Welch) finally came after 8 pm. He was quite educated and friendly, and my issue was resolved by him. He told him about the dispatcher & he cried for the company. When I had to separate my critique, I'd give Robert 5 stars and Shawn the dispatcher 0 stars.

Harold (2004) was at our place within the summertime. Had the older water heater outside and the brand new one in a matter of a few hours. Made sure everything functioned properly and that water made to all parts of the house. Great support. Would highly recommend.

Glesian 2100 was great! He had been on time and did an excellent job. He cleaned up afterwards and would utilize his ceremony next time I need it. I recommend Glesian #2100 to my buddies if they need rooter job done!

Our insurance gave us $3200 so we have been at a pinch of things to do and did not want cover another firm $300 to come outside and rescope everything to give us the same answers...
Is it a difference of just like $4500?!?!?! That is insane.
Use rotorooters as they are 24/7 but for fixes if you want a emergency ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!
They needed $5200 to make this fix which entails some digging that was concrete. . .etc.
We have been dealing with all the flooding but today it is bad. We had a local neighbor come out and did everything and discovered the same issues BUT his price...$650 TO repair it.
So I have to say I am disappointed.
In shock the price tag is that distinct.
You can read my other review that I agree with but here is the update:
They did clean it and my sewer system was clean and free for about 3months until it flooded again (maybe not their fault we have a busted pipe) so that is fine...

Jacob did a fantastic job giving me helpful insight into how we can stop issues and did a fantastic job clearing the drain.

Only used Roto Rooter for my sewer line maintenance-- excellent service- prompt, considerate & comprehensive. The discount coupon helped shave $40.

My family's entire basement - unfinished and finished - had flooded two days before our discovery of the matter. But after getting on the phone with Roto Rooter, Mike2080 was out to us within 24 hours notice. And, upon his arrival, he wasn't only helpful with assessing our sump pump difficulty, but installed and charged us all. As personable and kind because he was resourceful, Mike was comprehensive and helpful in his work and suggestions. We would absolutely recommend Roto Rooter , and him, to all and any friends!

The plumber did not make it at the entrance window that is communicated, and the van has been emptied out. This left me convinced. But the work he did was amazing; he understood his craft and solved my issue. I would use them again.

Highly recommended! Mr. Handyman (me) screwed a drywall screw into a copper hot water distribution line on a Saturday evening so had to turn off main water. Panic set in as no water available while the lunch of a hearty Portillo moved through our internal pipes! Roto-Rooter was the sole plumber I could connect with (called at least three other'emergency' technicians who've yet to call back). Came earlier than expected that evening and Marty (technician #3158) was GREAT! Courteous and knew his stuff. Replaced section of copper pipe in a location at a price that is acceptable.
Will call RR first next time...

Don't ever call this company. They won't offer a price quote when you call. And will charge $115 for a visit. I got no choice after they checked water heater to replace it. Average is 950-1k. I have rubbed. Ouch! Their job is very normal. Not they claimed end.
