Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Robert and Will showed up right on time, were diligent in exploring our drain issue, and helped me determine what our next step should be. RotoRooter limit prior to charging a service telephone minimum worked this time, which was a relief to a homeowner facing a expensive issue. The guys deserve credit for being so useful.

The"technician" spent all of 45 minutes snaking the lineup, and the bill following the coupon (which was presumed to be $60 and he'd $40) was $364!!

Because I believed I would get a fair estimate I made the error of calling the big business. I understand a small bit when I was going to be ripped off dependent on the estimate, so I could ascertain. The issue was a drain which was clogged and had to be unclogged using a rooter machine or a camera to ascertain the precise issue.
Here is the point where the business becomes a joke and I called them jokers. They gave my wife in her arms the quote using a baby that was crying. This business should be ashamed in their lack of ethics and their willingness to fully rip off a mom with her crying baby (I guess that is their target customer). The 2 jokers could have really billed $350 for 10 minutes of work, if my wife did not have me. Long story short, she delivered them on their way. I suggest you attempt to get a reliable local plumber through a buddy or friend.
While my wife was there two jokers showed up in the house and I had been off. They provide an estimate to snake/rooter/camera it or did not even look at the subterranean drainage issue. Instead, they literally suggested to my wife a"fast fix/band-aide." The tip: that they take MY left over material (French drainage piping) from a different downspout, cut it in half and then reattach it to the issue downspout to extend the drainage into the lawn instead of allowing it to drain into the blocked underground drainage. Really, not so bad an idea except for problems it would cause.

No accessibility according to the rep until Monday. Hopefully will get somebody. In the meantime my own living room continues to flood.

We had a drain and standing water in the shower, they waived the fee since we had a service together and had someone over immediately to fix it. Aaron was our technician and personable, quick and respectful of my two kids that are sleeping and all the tip toeing about.

TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. We'll NEVER use this company again. We called three times before we had been given a 6 HOUR WINDOW of when to expect them a backed up shower, and were moved to multiple, very dispatchers for. As the first hour approached, and still no-one had shown up, we contacted them again, just to be told they had no idea when someone would be available. We talked with the Dispatch Supervisor - and then referenced a phone number which was not connected with us at all. He wasn't just unhelpful, but left us as though we had been in the wrong as the client feel. At this time we ended up because we were unprofessional and so disappointed in the lack of service customer service, canceling the request.

I called Roto Rooter this morning as my garbage disposal not worked. I was hoping to get an appointment this week, but was surprised that they said they might come out now! Aaron Dye, the tech , not just instantly fixed my problem, he was the most helpful technician. He educated me on what to do if this happens again. He was patient and generous with his time. I'd no idea that Roto Rooter was such a fantastic company. I thought they would charge a chance to return to my home however simple it was to fix the issue. Me didn't charge whatsoever! I are there to help and actually won't hesitate to call Roto Rooter in the future as I know that they don't take advantage of folks! I'll also be recommending them to friends with plumbing problems. I appreciate Aaron's kindness and ability.

Matt from Roto-Rooter on Mission St. arrived into a intricate commercial job site with a major sewer line back up and did an expert job. He came within 15 minutes of the emergency call. The problem was mitigated by him and introduced a second team as necessary. Thank the group . They are a superb business and I highly recommend. Matt is effective, knowledgeable and professional in his work.

Worst ever. Charged $120 for a service call on a leak with water. Spent 10 minutes doing some thing in backyard and said it was fixed. Never checked under house. Had me hint and print my name that"I was happy with the work." Water under house was 3x the size it was, the day. Called out a company and invested $450 to mend pipe on the line beyond the house and broken valve. Told Roto-Rooter about it. . .the one in Carson City, NV....and the grandma said I only paid for a"service call" and would not do anything else. I paid $120 for a difficulty that wasn't resolved and a 10 minute trip. Be aware of their clinics and do not sign a receipt before you know the problem was fixed, that you're content with the service.

I'm rather impressed with the services. He responded on Saturday later we called coming in a couple of hours. He came back again the next day (Sunday) to repair our kitchen sink preventing & leaking emergency. We'd been dealing with the exact same issue before, and the way he handled this thing is more skillful, efficient, directly to the stage & repair it thoroughly. The price is very reasonable too! If we have plumbing problems, we'll definitely use support again.

A trip in one day, received a phone call half hour prior to showing up, showed up in time. Aaron was really professional, honest and got the work done!

1 method to accomplish this is by using this to flush the toilet and collecting bath water in buckets. As always I stumbled onto and Foursquare Yelp! To see who had great reviews. Roto-rooter had offices near and that I recognized the name from advertisements. I called them immediately. Their people deployed bringing all manner of snaking out gizmos they might use to attack the pipes. It did not take long before large pressure flushing started. The problem has been solved with professionalism and Performance. This was another one of those days I was grateful to have help in the regional companies in my community.
I had been doing my duty and picking for tub water over tank water. That wasuntil the afternoon my plumbing stopped working entirely. In a movement that was both tasteful and graceful I chucked a bucket of water but hadn't noticed since the water moved in that there was a bathtub drain stopper in the bucket. The stopper was small enough to go down the drain but it wasn't small enough to keep out into the waste treatment plant.

3 distinct calls for the same problem over 3 months. A bathroom that will run for a couple of seconds. It was like it was possessed! The very first time they came he out substituted the refill valve for $361.00. He said I should replace the bathroom. I wondered when you can just substitute parts. It was nice for about a month, then started doing exactly the same thing until he replaced the valve, it did. The next man came out but didn't wait for it to operate alone (and it had been running off and on all morning), so he didn't do something! The third time after waiting for 5 hours the man came out didn't wait for it to do its thing, tapped the valve, said it was an air bubble and it was fine! In addition, he said he would not bill me (how generous!) It was not under warranty even though the office said. I said it was since my receipt in the first visit had"90 day warranty" checked. He said it was not! He also said if it does it just call and that I didn't require a new bathroom. The minute he drove the bathroom started running again away! Okay, I phoned them and was ticked off at this time. The woman said the office schedule someone to come back out and could call me back. I began researching the problem online and came to the end (and I am no plumber - however are such clowns at Roto-Rooter) it was a worn outside valve seal which has been the problem. Wouldn't they've checked that out as a potential reason for the problem?! It is my perception that it's a problem. Anyway, my great neighbor confirmed it (once I asked him if he understood any respectable plumbers and he offered to have a peek at it) and for $4.00 fixed my bathroom once and for all! Yay for acquaintances that are kindly!
I will NEVER use this company!

We had your stuffed toiled so we called those guys. The fantastic thing is that they reacted. The good thing is that it cost $247 for the repair guy to use an $89 auger to get under 10 mins. There are brain surgeons which are not producing this rate. I only bought my own auger (aka snake) in San Lorenzo Hardware for $16. Apparently the big pipes shops set costs based on some"plumbing book", however the smaller independent shops are more likely to deliver their service in a sane price.

Not acceptable once I have a water leak somewhere creating a critical issue with my water bill, along with the town of Santa Cruz.
Very unimpressed. Had an appointment scheduled on Saturday morning. Appointment time was pushed back 3 times, plumber showed up after nine. I suggested for him to return during daylight hours, was told that would be Sunday afternoon or Monday at the latest. Had no contact followed on Monday and was told he would come on.

Quick reaction time in my support telephone to get a backed kitchen sink up. The tech, Nick, had great ways, did very clean work (appreciate the booties over his shoes), also gave me ongoing upgrades about his findings while still performing the job. Thank you for making it

He is also very professional and well mannered.
Toilet plugged, backing water up in tub and the sewer pipe outside smells. Josh out of Roto Rooter was my hero! This is back and my vacation home in January, the same thing occurred. That plumber came out and cleaned the sewer tube that was trunk out and told me I had a new bathroom in which I went out and got you. He left a lot of staying on the cement. Now Josh came out and cleaned the pipe used a shop vac to suck up the gunk. He needed a hose to do the pipe. After I receive a hose, Josh said I dont possess a hose, he'll return to finish the job. Now when he finished, he left the place very clean. He bleached to kill the odor.

Had a smelly shower so Brian and his asst. came out and listened to my worries, diagnosed the issue,and replaced the pea trap that was cracked under the house. They were professional and knowledgeable. Also found some hair balls and removed them too! Greatt job...

Fast response time entirely fair and professional priced. Got up my store bathroom and running in no time. Additionally explained it would be fixed by him and what was wrong. Dustin Bracken was our technicians. Thanks again!
