At 7:30 am as promised that the installers came and spent over 5 hours installing the heat unit. They spackled and painted the area. Outstanding.

As my LG unit has been 10 years old and has been having problems for over 3 years (leaking through humid days) I chose to put in a Mitsubichi.

With this last trip, I totally agree with additional Yelp'rs. . .this organization is very unprofessional, poor management, and contains billing practices that are deceptive. Sila, you just lost another customer.
Let me begin by stating I was happy with the work Sila did above a year on my first service call. But my experience was awful. I told them as long as they were here, to give me estimates on a few jobs, and called to find a sink and toilet repaired. First, the Sila rep didn't inform me that if their phone call was missed by me within the service window, they would cancel the appointment. I missed the phone, then called them back 25 minutes later only to receive a answer telling me they would try to match me in but no promises. I told him to bring a heating tune-up, After the tech arrived, and he said no problem. He only took notes handed me a quotation, and then charged me $89, although I expected him to start the services. I inquired why he was charging me and not doing the work, and he told me he was only there to provide a quotation to me. There was some clear miscommunication between the tech and my phone call. I was annoyed but let it go because none of the plumbing work was an emergency, and the tech said I could use this $89 towards future work. I rescheduled, and picked only for the tune-up because the additional quotations were quite high--$1,100 to install $215 and a sink to replace a flapper. In me, the business said I couldn't use my charge with this support. Not trendy.

Customer Support by Handling and misleading billing practicesI have been a customer for years but never again. On 9/24/19 the Technician Michael L. failed my yearly inspection/maintenance and stated the system was operating properly but 1 week after when I tried to turn on the heat for the first time that I discovered the pilot was outside, the thermocouple required to be replaced, and there was no observable cleanup done of the machine (like Sebastien T. review states). Sila agreed to waive the $125 service charge and come outside to fix the matter and charge Labor ($90/half hr.) And components. On 10/10 the technician (Ryan L.) who had been very polite and effective came to replace the thermocouple. Sila sent me a $245 charge. It looked like they tried to conceal the $125 service that they agreed to waive in the cost of this part. When I contested the charge the manager compared it and became angry and impolite and stated it had been the cost of doing business. He then said I is currently voiding my maintenance agreement and want to locate another company. I can only imagine how they are going to treat new customers if that is the way they do business with loyal customers. Very unprofessional.

I had the most positive experience with Sila Heating and Ac. Since I had a house inspection, I called and there was something wrong with my air conditioner. Later I called the tech arrived two hours. He brought all of the equipment that was perfect and didn't waste any time. He was knowledgeable, polite and incredibly efficient. I couldn't have asked for a much better experience. I have not ever used this company before so I didn't know exactly what to expect except that I had read some fantastic reviews. Well, they are all reviews that are accurate and I will certainly call them.

Left work early to meet to get an appraisal for my whole HVAC system's replacement. . Afterwards got a call from an agency manager who left a message asking to reschedule at the point, I did not feel comfortable using the corporation.

The team finished at Sila is hands down amazing to work with. They helped support my AC unit and were at the top of everything. Someone managed to escape to my house within one day and the technician remained there and made sure he did. Fantastic experience all around!

Hired Sila to get inspection/maintenance of 3 functioning well AC systems. The tech, anthony Ferrelli said that they are functioning fine but left 5 screws and a single panel open that protect some digital part. Not clear any'cleanup' or''oiling' was completed and if it's even included in the upkeep since for what we could see in the image from the left open panel, not much focus appears to have been spent .

I had a great experience with Sila on Saturday!Jay was my onsite technician and was quite knowledgeable and helpful. He went above and beyond and explained everything he was doing . I will be asking to use him again!
My AC required to be inspected and I had to have the filter altered. When I called on Thursdaythey offered me an appointment for Friday. They could fit me in on Saturday when I was not available. I was quite happy with the rapid turnaround time.

Usually have my man Craig service my unit, but he was unavailable. Sila has a line up not to worry though. While two toddlers slept under the system right in rooms, anthony came to my home right and also did a AC care. Anthony tiptoed in the loft and crushed it, although my wife was so angry that I had scheduled the AC care during prime naptime. Thanks Anthony and Sila.

Called Sila up and had great customer support immediately. They came into my home and figured out what was wrong with my heating system, recommended an repair, and had. The technician that came out was educated and made the whole experience an enjoyable and easy one. Would recommend Sila to anyone in the Boston area!! Thank you very much.

Helder came to maintain AC. He requested him to troubleshoot the unit as it wasn't blowing cold air while he was here. Helder was very thorough and patient as it wasn't easy to pinpoint the matter. He was very professional and had good customer support. Will definitely be requesting Helder when we want any support done in the foreseeable future.

I've had my furnace cleaned yearly by a different firm for the past ten decades. I discovered that Sila offered a service contract so I chose to have my furnace is cleaned by them and check out their service contract. The technician came and over 10 minutes explained that my furnace includes a possibility for carbon dioxide leak. He put a sticker on the furnace and shut off the furnace. He had been cross selling that he can setup an appointment with the sales man and Sila provides furnace replacements while he was doing so. Later I contacted my previous company. I told the technician what occurred. He looked the furnace over and then cleaned it. He a said there was nothing wrong. Beware of Silas' low priced cleaning. You get what you paid .

Notice the complaints get? That. No more having no display technicians or chasing down people. They say what they're going to do and do what they say. Quickly. Communication is excellent. Really, very different experience lost its way concerning providing timely, professional, quality service. We had an AC system that expired in the midst of a heat wave. Chased our tech . He stopped even answering phone calls and has been a no show. These men were recommended by A friend. We couldn't be happier. The next day, they came out on a Tuesday system installed. Wow.

Called them having an issue, they were able to send someone out right away and answered the phone. Most places you're lucky to get a call back within a few hours. The technician they sent out was Guy, that was very professional in getting the work done and explaining everything. Thank you!

They sent a young guy out to scrutinize my furnace. He informs me that the unit is in danger of leaking carbon dioxide gas and it ought to be replaced completely. He leaves a scarlet decal in my furnace warning of the risks of carbon dioxide, saying that he is obligated to do this or he will lose his license.
I got another firm and they do not see an issue. Do not trust this organization.

Don't use. Totally unreliable. I took 3 hours off work to await them. They called to say they were not coming half an hour after they were expected. Use 128 HVAC instead. They answer the phone and also flip up.

Everything was explained across the way to us along with the machine works beautifully. I also appreciated that the exact same tech who diagnosed the difficulty was also the person who came to do the repairs (Steve was fantastic ).
Sila labor rate does appear to be more expensive but I am happy to pay that and have confidence that things will probably work, especially given all the issues we had with our provider. I learned the hard way that it is far better to take care of a large firm, with insurance and the appropriate licenses which will be a continuous concern. Nice that they accept credit cards - get some points/cash right back for a job.
Our air wasn't performing . Fortunately, we signed a maintenance deal. They came out very fast to diagnose the problem before July 4th. They ordered the necessary parts and we had a quotation per day following the vacation and return to do the retrofits and repairs that the following week.

I've been a Sila client for years. They are always knowledgeable, prompt and professional. Lately I had difficulty with my furnace. He is as great as you can get. Thorough willing to work on all fronts with you, answers phones/text any time of the day. We ended up installing a new system. The install team headed by Rudy were phenomenal. I've had businesses work on my HVAC. By comparison Sila is worth every penny. The price includes a 5 year service contract which is a welcome bonus. Thank you Ken, Rudy and the entire Sila team for work well done above and outside.

Inquired about mitzibishi miniature divide. Daiken was recommended by sila. Went with recommendation. Sila did heat demand recommendation. These items don't heat home. Had to get gas blueflane distance geaters. $20,000 and cold as h-e-double L. Plus electric bill high as H-E-double L. Delayed in realizing I had been gagged because the kargest unit created horribke sound. Bill D. Came to my house and promised he'd make certain everythong was to my satisfaction and forced me to sign off ( digital signal off) on loan onto his mobile phone. 4 service calls later! Adter reconfiguring my system they eventually decided to replace the unit I whined about and started talking about uf it was still under guarantee! I told you the unit was the problrm from the get go. Sila, its your problem if it is under guarantee. Launched in november. Today its spring. So heating season I understand how inconvenient it is to get units on flooring running from same engine outside. I had two engines. If units on same engine in manners then they wont function. You running up and down stairs hoping to get units if you can even see the little emblem! I had to threaten actuon to get system configured back to original configuration. No more being able to comfy enjoy my home in the chilly, I have read many books and will find someoen whom knows what yo do for my steam heating system since I know what needs to be done.
