I assisted a customer of mine with her rental property when toilet drain was called in for by renters not draining. Jacob has helped us and called Jacob and obtained his voice message but he texted back saying -- I will call you. That tells me he's finishing up on another job and I believe that was a good thing to do. And the occupation was explained by me and he quickly was there the day. He called from the job site to let me know the problem with his charge and the drain -- very reasonable and job done! Landlord and tenants are glad that problem has been resolved quickly! Definitely Jacob is the plumber!

I was so impressed with Jacob. I contacted him, and he made space on his schedule to emerge the next day at 8 am, to help me to install my dishwasher back in the cabinet. It tipped over everytime I opened the door and had come loose. He discovered a solution immediately, appeared at the situation and was impeccably prompt. I had had yet another plumber come out twice before to do exactly the same thing, but it never stuck. Jacob adjusted the back of the dishwasher's thighs and add a piece of plywood as a shim to make it even more stable. He did a very wonderful job and was completely reasonable in price point. I will certainly call him up for the plumbing problem. Jacob, thanks!

Luckily, I discovered an honest plumber that did the work in an efficient and professional manner and that just charged me for the time he actually worked along with the materials ($30) and for the actual cost of the license that was just $169. The next week I had my review by the plumbing inspector from SFDBI and the work passed without any difficulties.
Jacob of Sovereignty Plumbing was angry because he wasn't able to tear me off by getting paid $245 a hour and by more charging me. On top of all of that, I have not got a refund for the $117 pipes deal which I purchased! What a shady character!
The owner jacob and sole employee of Sovereignty Plumbing is the most dishonest and unprofessional businessperson I've encountered in the Bay Area. I purchased one of the bargains he offered on the Angie's List website. The price was for one hour of pipes solutions for $117. Following the purchase I've sent an email to follow up and also to program the work. Following the email, I called and left a voicemail. I didn't get a call backagain. I called again and left another voicemail and followed up with another email the next day. After eventually getting Jacob on the phone the job was clarified by me and that I advised him that I needed to have a plumbing license pulled for the work. He gave me a quote of $250 for the license and $275 for materials and the time. He developed a bunch of bogus explanations for why he did not wish to perform the work after I advised him that I'd purchased the $117 deal he offered. I advised him that he shouldn't provide the deal if he wasn't planning to honor it. He said that he did not have to honor the deal and that it did not matter because he could only go get the money.

Thank you to Jacob.. .quick and fantastic work getting my bathroom by replacing working again fill valve and water distribution line. Friendly, considerate and knows his stuff.

I searched yelp for"dishwasher installation" and came across Jacob in Sovereignty Plumbing. I phoned he and Jacob talked me through the fixing the problem immediately. Simple fix.
I had a dishwasher installed with a Home Depot organized subcontractor. Once they declared the dishwasher leak-free the installers left. The first time that I ran the dishwasher, there was a massive leak. Home Depot said they can send out the installers again in 4 days to repair the problem. I had been loath to wait this long for someone who did the job the first time.
A professional consultant and also a class act - Thanks, Jacob! I finally have.

In both cases, my home ended up in better shape than it had been before I had to replace the appliances.
Once I had a new kitchen faucet plus a toilet tank valve replacement the next time was this year. Jacob came together with his helper (who was favorable to me and paid attention to Jacob's training) and bought the right type of faucet, returnedand had both jobs achieved in a total of two hours. Again, they cleaned up completely, and I'm very pleased.
The first time was when my water heater had an inner part begin to dissolve to loaf of plastic which blocked up my taps and shower (an issue with the 90s models of the brand). Jacob and his crew came and found that a former owner had installed without a permit the heater and hadn't been inspected. They brought it, made a good recommendation for a brand new one and installed it on the floor without a drop of water spilling, drilled through the wall to conduct a new pipe and cleaned up after themselves very well. When inspection time came, they came back and were considerate and helpful to the inspector, which aided. The incline of the original vent had to be altered, where a wire conduit pipe had to be moved, which meant the work could only be achieved by a certified contractor and I was regretfully shown by Jacob. I asked if he could recommend one, along with did the next inspection and a fantastic job was passed with ease. I really appreciated Jacob's guidance, since I knew nothing whatsoever about water heaters, San Francisco permits, etc. at the time.
I have used Sovereignty twice.

Jacob did a great job installing our dishwasher. Besides the plumbing, the job required doing exactly the finish cleaning, and removing cabinetry prior to installation and painting. He did this to a high standard. We particularly appreciated as he went along he cleaned up. A superb experience.

The week of the install they asked if they can transfer it from 12PM to 3PM. At 4:45PM the Installer (and owner) called and asked if we would like to reschedule. When I advised him that I couldn't (because I was leaving town the following morning and wanted it taken care of before then), he complained that"it feels like everyone needs it now too," but agreed to come in 7PM, knowing that I had an evening responsibility in 8PM.
Their employees doesn't predict, the next morning, and at 10:30 I reach out before leaving to be told that the upcoming available time within their program is following Tuesday at 3PM, but assures me that this time they'll be there.
They call on Tuesday, and see whether they can install premature, at 2:30PM. Even though this is a time that is wholly suitable, in their 3-5 window provided in my 6th time speaking to the company, it was bothersome, given they requested the earlier time slot.
Yet, when the Installer, and Owner, arrived... not even a mention of an apology for the mismanagement of their resources and time and the impact on their clients program.
The lack of professionalism is astounding.
Their blatant disregard for their clients is stagering. There are many other plumbers in the area... use somebody else that actually values your time.
Another day away from work to deal with this Plumber.
7PM comes. I call in 7:15 to find voicemail. Again in 8PM. At 8:45, the installer calls back to tell me that the next morning is already booked with other clients, although that I am going to have to reschedule.
When we ordered a new dishwasher through Lowes, they supplied Sovereignty Plumbing as their installer, who called to program for a Thursday a week and a half later at 12PM.
At this point, I forced to reschedule for another unspecified time, but maybe not the following day, rescheduled 3 times stood up by the installer, and have taken off work.

He fixed my disposal and leaking sink quickly and at a price that was reasonable.
Very positive experience.
Will definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends.
Jacob telephoned me when he came he was professional, courteous, and friendly and when he had been on his way.
Was helpful and friendly. I got a follow up email to confirm after she made the appointment.

We have been using Jacob. He is the plumber I've ever encountered.
I've dealt with a great deal of plumbers. Most of them have attitude, and wish to make you feel like you could never do some of this work yourself (I am a really handy person, so I find this insulting) Jacob hasn't had attitude. He is super friendly. I urge him completely and fully and I won't ever work with anybody else.
We own a few properties, so we need someone in a rush and on a budget when something goes wrong. He makes himself accessible, even going so far as to cut a vacation short by a day to install a water heater. His rates are reasonable, he's honest, and he will explain what he's doing and how it is being done by him.
That's all.
And as for these comments about the elderly.... I feel those are BULL$HIT. I manage repairs and take care of my grandma and other hired work. When I was not there, I would anticipate Jacob in her house. I would expect him to provide a rate that is fair to her and for her to pay him without my being there, which I would NEVER DO for anybody else, ever. THAT is how much I trust him.

My first review was deleted because it lacked firsthand experience. I was being obscure. This should clear up things:
He knew what he had been doing because he made the attempt when we were not there AND it clear that my mother-in-law is getting on in her years to go to the house.
My partner and I care for his mother. We have strived allowing her to maintain her independence. My took it upon herself to call Sovereignty Plumping one day. While we weren't thrilled that she did so, we figured it could not hurt this much. We would be at the very best out a couple of hundred dollars and while we could fixt the problem was done. Jacob came to the house and after two weeks left with a $2000 check. When my partner called Jacob and requested for an invoice, Jacob didn't just sent one. Oh no. He went to the house while we were in the office and had an invoice is signed by my own mother-in-law. Contained in the bill was an $1,800"Authorized Love Gift." Really, Jacob? A"love present ?"
If that is the sort of individual that you want to hire as your plumber then by all means proceed. It is your conscience.
It is quite rare that I find the service of someone so appalling that I give it a single star. In the event of Sovereignty Plumbing when I could give it negative stars I really could. Person or any business that preys on the elderly deserves punishment.
What's even worse about this is that when she realized what had happened she had been profoundly saddened that she allowed this type of thing happen to her. Well, she didn't permit this to happen, she had been a sufferer.

We bought a new dishwasher. Sovereignty was their installer. Jacob (or Jerry-I'm sorry I did not catch his name) came out on a Saturday (!) At the appointed time. He hauled off our old dishwasher, cleaned the junk that was horrible underneath, checked the plumbing and fittings, installed the new one, double checked that all cleaned up after himself, worked and was gone within an hour. Very efficient and courteous.

After the measurements were shot my vanity, sinks were ordered and again Rose affirmed the installation appointment via email (& a 2 hour window - great) and the installer Jacob showed up on time and called me when he was about 30 minutes away from my home to get a heads up. I appreciated as I frequently"run" quick errands in my neighborhood and this manner I could make it back on time vs. waiting for hours in home in a given 4 hour slot. My previous vanity was dismantled and taken out and the new one installed but since it turned out the sink wasn't the right dimensions, the individual who put the order together had packed a sink that was too big... Jacob called the shop to alert them of the mistake and returned the sink that day - it was a Friday afternoon so I was a bit anxious to be left with a mess all weekend and having to take more time off work on Monday - which really was not possible for me, too busy at work at this time. When he told me that he can come back with the sink to complete the 25, jacob put my worries. Saturday morning the project got completed as promised (again with a confirmation email from Rose Friday day and a call in Jacob when in route on Saturday morning) so I'm a happy camper. Service has been great and the work is top notch, now in love.
I had a vanity delivered and set up by Sovereignty Plumbing Company and I can highly recommend them. The office supervisor emailed me in advance confirming the appointment which I loved as we are all busy nowadays to taking the first measurements from coming out.

We had a brand new dishwasher (purchased from Lowe's that they sub-contract through) installed yesterday by Jacob and he was friendly, professional and efficient. Before he arrived but he had been very accommodating and I actually had to change the time on him he predicted. Upon arrival, he went right to work , greeted my children and shook my hand while introducing himself. He took his shoes off which I really love. It's so true that the little things depend on the most. He had the dishwasher installed in under an hour left without a wreck. You couldn't tell there was a plumber only at our residence. Thank you Lowe's for sending over a stellar plumber that we hope to call if we need his services again.

He gave an estimate of cost after taking a look at the job. He gave was too high, but, because this is my 1st time calling. Was superb. Fast and efficient. Cleaned up the region and took the items . Very friendly. Will call again for service.

Desired a plumber to cap a petrol pipe into a non heating furnace that was functioning. Google and found this business on Yelp. Read 1 review that is great and gave them a call.
Scheduled with Rose for tech to come out on Friday. Really wonderful individual.

We had a plumber bad and therefore my husband stayed home to phone somebody and discovered sovereignty plumbing online. Jacob fixed the flow that we even went out of his way to acquire and had in our bathroom and came. If we come across any plumbing issues, we all know who to call!

Jacob arrived on time installed our dishwasher shot all the packaging and garbage together when he was able to get the entire thing done in 1 hr and left 15 min. Worked out amazing. By installing an additional area of the system that was contracted but would ensure proper operation of our dishwashing system, he was polite, professional and went over his duty. Super happy with mindset and his workmanship. Can call him again to help with plumbing issues.

Jacob arrived and confessed his mistake, and colaborated together to get the very front of my car fix. You'll be able to tell by the number of hit, and I recognized to collaborate because he revealed honesty and responsability which its hard to discover in the city of san francisco and runs that there are everyday in San Francisco. I really appreciate the kind of the actions that he take and also person he is. I am not writting this review to inform everyone about the kind of man you guys are dealing with, although to market jacobs business.
After Coming back into my own home on the morning at 4am, I parked my car. After couple of hours later after I went to get my car, I found that my bumper was on the ground. Then realized that somebody hit my car, and a note was in my vehicle. Was jacobs telephone number.

I paid for the installation and bought a dishwasher. This was performed by Sovereignty Plumbing. Rose called immediately to schedule the appointment and confirmed with an email. They sent a follow up. Jeffery arrived and was professional and very considerate. He installed the dishwasher. He explained what he'd done and the warranty. He was on his way and cleaned up any mess out of the installation. It was a positive experience and would urge Sovereignty for any upcoming plumbing installations.
