The owner contacted me once I complained about a customer support issue and provided to make things right when there was a problem. You can't do much better than that.
Valley Plumbing is exceptional!! They care more about providing quality support over making a dollar. Dave, who operates in the showroom is fantastic. Helped me troubleshoot a problem that was current. He had friendly , outstanding knowledge and patience. Suggested before selling me I go components. First class organization. Have used them many times for non DIY projects and they provide excellent service at a fair price. Keep up the great support!!!
I usually use referrals but in this case we looked for a showroom for toilet taps beyond what large box store have. From assisting with choice of fittings in their Pleasanton place to the 16, everything was fantastic. Plumber was exceptionally thorough & exceptionally neat and came. The only downside if you wish to call it that was we had to call to discover if fixtures came in the warehouse. They were in when I called to check and we scheduled appointment that was only a couple of days out. Would use them again for next job.
We scheduled a service call to repair a faucet. The tech arrived, took one look and said a busted nut was , that we must purchase from the manufacturer. I was charged by him even though he did NOTHING. When we get the part and they said they'd give me a charge for another visit when I expressed concern he called his office since he was not able to do anything for us and they came back to repair it.
Disappointed, really!
When we got the part, I called them back and they sent another tech to fix the faucet. I was under the impression that nothing will be paid by us for the next visit. But nevertheless, they continue calling me to collect, and sent an invoice for $115 to me!
I am not sure what has happened to them. Has gone down!
They have collection of plumbing components. Got what I needed during my first trip.
Kirk & Travis did a fantastic job on the repipe of the early 60's home in Livermore. They not only took a lot of pride in their job but also they took care of my home while they were still here. From the quote walk to the review, Valley Plumbing was professional through all the way.
I called 4 different local plumbers to come give quotes. Two never returned my telephone, the third set up a time to meet and then no-showed, and also the fourth company was Valley Plumbing. John from Valley chose to come around to do the walk around and sent me a written quote the next moment. The choice was obvious.
I've been using Valley Plumbing for a couple of years now (usually Mark comes out and does outstanding work) but today it was time to replace my older galvanized steel pipes.
VP came out ONCE to address A concern w/the blu-nose drawer(s)
I stand by my review. In reaction to Mike C?
It was a FULL bath remodel in 2008, counter tops sink , bathtub, flooring.
The mistakes were at the estimating"after the fact".
The latest issue of this countertop? BOTH items had rubber bases. Pictures didn't demonstrate the genuine discoloration. Instead of responding? Dead silence, nevermore...I rest my case.
Thank you Mark!
Patricia
This inspection is for Mark, who mended my hot water pipe leakage within my toilet wall, he's good, knowledgeable and patient. The service was HOA, but when I want to redesign my bath vanity Valley will be considered by me when I could find a quote.
Valley was my plumber for the majority of the 20 years we have lived in this home. It had been worth it to get it right and they would solved any problems. However, after having a leaky kitchen faucet that they mended flooded my kitchen counter 2 1/2 weeks later over the 4th of July weekend and then having to wait for 4 days to make them come out and resolve just to be informed by Seiberrt it was not leaking now but to return and speak to Dave if I wanted to replace it altogether. Dave agreed to use the labour guarantee so I bought one. They charged me to put in it the next day. So I had been advised to go down the next day and speak to resolve dave had gone. Dave was off the next day so I was advised by Cindy Mike was going to phone me to talk after reviewing. No voice mail, no telephone. Just promises and also a defendant 30 day labor warranty. We took the loss and have tired of trying to resolve this. Apparently their motto is more marketing than reality. Its a shame, they used to be great. Peeled their labels off the Water Heater, disposal, etc and chose on a plumber. Now on the lookout for a fantastic handyman to use for things like this.
Logan came early in the coming window hauled....which is always terrific. He immediately diagnosed the issue, was very professional, and came up with a timely solution to repair it. VPHC is my for plumbing requirements.
I posted a review but it looks like it had been removed. I'm not going to summarize but that I will never use them.
Omg.. I am frustrated. It is like I invested 500 and still looking for ANOTHER seller to repair my sprinkler leakage. They do not give quotes and cost 154 for fixing and coming. Mark stated that we might have to predict city to close the water down and arrived and we will have to reschedule. What that mean is that we still have to cover him for 1 hour. Till this time I had been fine and that I can understand it is a benefit of uncertainty. If he comes back again, then he spend yet another 1.5 hours using a charge of 328 with statements like you will have to reschedule another 1.5 hours as there is more leakage. Since day one, it's only 1 area of leakage and now I am supposed to discover another firm to mend same leakage.Mark answer is this leakage has been covered so he didn't understand. It is a joke. How come you do not know.i won't recommend. It is M T & with no scope and you keep paying and scope keeps changing.
$1000 sets in two baths. WOW!
And that's not including the price of the fixtures, and two of the 3 baths had angle hoses and valves. VERY slow moving, took two guys 2 weeks to finish. 1 way to pad the labour bill seems to be writing long winded, muti-page reports of what has been done. (Do you think we do not notice that?) The house inspector faulted the cracked drain pipe connector of a few of them on the accounts, although I thought the work was Ok. It has gotten way worse, although last time I tried them, in 2012, I wasn't contented with the charges either. I got the sense for not buying the fixtures from their Home Center that maybe I was being penalized. I guess that's the idea business model, market remodels not pipes. Get a bid that is fixed on whatever these people do.
His intern and johnathan came out to fix a leaking toilet issue. They have been on time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We had had them come and do some work during a kitchen remodel. It's challenging to find a company who will do both tiny and big jobs.
Scott was great now, installed brand new faucet in kitchen fast and was very professional.
Very Miserable Ex-customer. They have been used by me for years and have been happy with price/performance and support. Latest interaction was awful. $450 to replace an easy $15 part. I compensated for two of the techs' education. Not paying for professional development in the foreseeable future.
Service we could trust. Professional considerate. First and foremost, though, it feels just like a company when it comes to making stuff and appointments, but the technicians that work for this business are the best and most competent we have had.
Reputable and fair to a fault, their prices are fair. Extremely knowledgeable. Not the guys that are cheap however, do not price gouge either. Instances In life, you get what you pay for. This company has earned my trust!
We called to see if we could get someone to fix it as soon as possible, and had a plumbing issue on a Friday morning. Sharol was very attentive and extremely friendly . We have 1 bathroom and couldn't go without a bathroom through the weekend. I'm pretty sure their program was booked up, but she found time to come out and fix it for us, that day! THANK you for your excellent customer service and for the quick reply....it has been MUCH APPPRECIATED by all!
