Whistle Plumbing

My mom has had good experiences and has used Whistle before. Not needing water for more than a day produced a lot of plumbers and a situation for them would have taken advantage of that.
It is good to know that there are honest people around.
This is a review for my mother's experience. My mom and stepdad are seniors and Poppie DIY attempt at installing a kitchen faucet resulted to the home for a day and a half in a flooding of this kitchen and no water.
Two Whistle techs arrived at my mother's tonight, after hours, and didn't leave until everything was right. So we understand seniors are medicated my husband and I are in construction across the bay - we hear tales. Everything was mended I checked in with her and a very affordable price had been charged.

I will continue to keep their number in my connections and highly recommend them. Thank you a Paul for saving the day along with my sink!
Our sink had a flow for the last month and I devote a great deal of time in the kitchen. I had been getting tired of my spouse who swears screaming all kind of words when he would come home from work needing to wash under the sink. I kept bugging him to call a plumber, but you know my hubby can be very stubborn. I was glad he finally bought a new faucet and thought he could replace and fix it himself....NOT! He gave me the okay. The reason I picked Whistle Plumbing is because they were located on the street I lived and it was Memorial Day. I was surprised that they picked up. A very polite man greeted me and they were in my home within an hour. While my husband remained I needed to leave and I must say they did impeccable work and I am quite happy my sink functions. Life, wife that is happy. It was fine of Paul to tell my husband with some components and the faucet, saved a couple hundred dollars he needed.

Was it set up to code? NO
Was it set up in brief notice in a holiday weekend? Yes
Does the water heater function? Yes.
If you want, It is possible to use this guy, but bottom line, he is somebody who's ready to stretch the truth and lie to your face. There are plenty of good, honest plumbers on the market....if you have to wait a day or two for the good ones, it is well worth the wait.
Was the work completed for the amount of the quotation? Yes
We reached out a couple of occasions, after the work was finished. The very first time we had been asked if he was sure it was set up to code. He even offered to pull on a license himself for 689 longer as it would require him 6 hours wait in the home for the inspection and to get the license. After we achieved the second time and asked if he'd stand behind his work if we were to go ahead and pull the license ourselves and wait for the inspector ourselves. That is where his true colors came out and he said a couple of things may be found by the inspector but he assured us we did not want those things and if we wanted them done he would have to charge us more.
We had a water heater go on the fritz on a holiday weekend. We called several areas and these men could come out on short notice. The quotation was accepted by us even though it was considering the true cost of the water heater that they planned on installing considering that it was a holiday weekend. As it was impossible to pull a license before getting it installed, we had one petition, we just asked if it could be set up to code. Also the water heater was set up and we had been assured it would be set up to code and functioning shortly there after.

I can't say enough about Paul G. and Whistle Plumbing. Paul and his team made it a great experience. They replaced all plumbing pertaining to our leak and washing machine. Not only was the work done very well. However, I is attention to detail in following up throughout the whole procedure and was impressed with the customer support. It was Paul but his group in general, when I had questions. Paul stands behind his work and any dialogue that's discussed. I suggest Paul for all your plumbing requirements.

Water heater broke last night, started leaking called Whistle Plumbing Paul the proprietor scheduled the appointment , about 8PM, the following morning then came out, replaced the water heater over about 2 hours. Since they're local, highly recommended, particularly for Daly City residents and have done the work fast. Thanks again Paul!

Jan 5th is here and the second job they finished is currently leaking so I call them, this time Paul the specialist comes and decides the initial fix requires some fixing that is further. He states the warranty is void and then fixes it and to please pay them $989 if I want them to return to fix this escape as they can't justify this temporary correction.
I telephoned them on Dec 18th to get an line that leaked is fixed by them, they charged me an hour's worth of work when it should have been prorated to 30 mins. My cost was $289 minus a discount equals $261 for that occupation. They were fixed it and speedy. Warranty on this job is for 90 days.
Next day (dec 19th) I call them for a separate problem, also a leak. I guess I wasn't liked by water these two days.
I'm leaking money. I say try someone else first.

Two men came out and ripped less than 5 feet of tubing out. They charged us 50 feet. When We called the proprietor why we were charged so much he started behaving narcissistic and with reverse psychology. Like really? They said a receipt will be emailed but never gave anything to . We never heard from them.
Got zero stars? What a rip off! Awful customer support and possession. Do not use them.

Awesome same day assistance from the staff at Whistle Plumbing. They were educated, extremely skillful and I had been charged less then what I thought I was going to get to pay.

Whistle Plumbing was prompt in response reaching out via yelp. The week they program the review. They addressed the problem, and were on time for the appointment window, easy going. Very fair. They dealt with my issue without charging additional past the inspection fee to prevent the water flow from my shower. Would certainly recommend.

Paul Gutierrez did answer the phone, emailed an estimate and appointment , came the following morning and fixed our escape. Very educated, professional, and a nice man to boot.

Quality service at a reasonable cost.
I called Whistle in my head, a true crisis - on a Sunday morning about a sewer. Paul and his helper came in just a few hours. They explained very thoroughly the steps they would take to determine whether my problem was a simple clear-out or complex, actually giving a quote of this cost gap to me. They showed me video of this jolt, what they needed to do to clear this, and gave me several useful recommendations about how best to avoid the problem later on. I was also impressed with the care they took after removing the bathroom and using their gear, insuring they didn't damage my hardwood floors and bathroom tile. It was refreshing to acquire high quality service at a really reasonable cost when I was in an urgent situation with options.

Paul is the best. We are fit by him in to his schedule on a Saturday afternoon. Fixed our sink. This was not your clogged sink. Took extra work but did it.
I suggest Whistle Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing job. We've used them a few times and would not use anyone else.

Paul is amazing! I found out my water heater was broken up at 7am and has been looking for a repairman. Paul managed to repair the issue and responded within minutes! The cost is reasonable too.

Professional, friendly, and quick service. Left a message regarding rates. They answered all my questions called me back immediately and gave me a quote. I told them my program and they were able to work to book an appointment with me.
Throughout the day of my appointment they were polite and effective. I had questions regarding different services which they answered and moved above and beyond to offer great customer service. Would definitely use them again.

It is never good news when you have to call a plumber, but the silver lining is that Paul and his crew are just wonderful! They were fast, honest, actually took the time clarify exactly what went on, and did not make a mess. Our difficulty was resolved at a fair price and they stood by their own work. Paul recently set up a new electric water heater at our property. The unit he recommended is a good one and it can be monitored by me . The install took less time and has been really well done. Paul made sure that the area was clean and he was considerate and professional. He gave me a quick tutorial and took the time to answer my questions about how to work. I am very happy with the service he could call him again and provided.

Paul is straight ahead, honest, and fast to reply. My water heater leaked and nearing it life. Paul gave a reasonable quote for a water heater and also an unbiased quote for a water heater. He was by far the fairest of the 3 quote I tankless or got for new water heater. He explained and we decide to go with normal water heater. We schedule for 2 days later. He was promptly on time and finished over two hours. Now my water is running fine and hot! I would certainly recommend Paul of Whistle Plumbing to acquaintances and friends.
