Cal's Plumbing

In desperation, I called Cal's Plumbing late. They immediately sent someone outside, who recognized the matter. They had a crew out first thing the following morning and by 11:00 AM our bathrooms were back in operation.
This outfit is great!
On May 8, 2019 we had a significant problem with our septic system. Every bathroom in the home was inoperative. I called. The company told me that I should call my organization to pump tank and that there was no problem with the system in the home to the septic tank.
When the tank was pumped by the company, they was not getting any input in the home and simply concluded that it was empty.

The job: They installed a water heater, altered my line to the road, and transferred a gas line for my stove. It took several days. Nick was cared about the product, also hard-working.
The good: They do work, let me get that out of the way on. You cover the good job, but that is to be anticipated.
The bad: While installing a new line, the line ran into the house and jumped over the front-yard faucets. They said they could come out and run online, too, presumably, although I brought up that.

Our tub faucet was broken, would spin all of the way round, and needed repaired. We contacted our Home Warranty company and was prepared to utilize their services, which would have only cost us $75 and they'd have paid the remainder. We were thrilled with the reviews the warranty company was intending to send to us. So, we decided to go it alone and researched.
We contacted Cal's Plumbing and have been advised they charge by the project and give no respect or how long they are really on the job functioning. We were told tough, that is the fee. After bringing our concerns to them, nothing. Their site says they are fair, trustworthy, and have integrity. We did not experience this.
Not sure how they got all those 5-star reviews. We're happy with the scheduling process and the technology, but the fees are outrageous. $262 for 10 minutes of work under one hour on site, and at a part that is $35. Buyer be warned. If you would like to get overcharged Cal's is your own plumber. Otherwise, I suggest searching for someone else.
We're advised prior to scheduling the support that there is a fee simply. However, when we had them perform any work, the 79 would be applied towards the work. We scheduled the soonest they could come and the appointment was. He finished the job, had the part and discovered the issue. All complete he spent most was in the home less than an hour. $262 for this particular service was billed. The technician was paid by my spouse because what is she supposed to do? What exactly do we understand, although it seemed like a great deal of money.
The part the technician replaced has been a plastic bit referred to as a bathroom faucet cartridge replacement. A fast search on the internet and discussion with any hardware or plumbing shop reveals this part can be gotten for as little as $9.99 or even as pricey as $34. Hmm? Seems like about $225 for labour was charged and that is assuming they'll tell us the part they used was in the end of price. I have to be in the incorrect profession because $225 for under an hour of work (more like 10 minutes of actual work) is a great wage! This is a mistake.
Disappointed is an understatement. Here is a summary of our experience with Cal's Plumbing. We'd hoped we'd discovered our"go to" plumbing company. Based upon the numerous 5-star reviews we discovered, we expected more than that.

Urgently wanted a plumber asap. Looked at my area's Nextdoor site and known as Cal's Plumbing based on 5 recommendations. Extremely pleased they were able to have an employee (Dan) out over 45 minutes of phoning and also for very reasonable rate. Fixed problem instantly. Happy with this support! I can't imagine ever using anybody else.

If you don't care what the cost is this might be one of your choices.
They add a water line but didn't indicate a pressure regulator. We've had our irrigation neglect. They offered us 600+ To include one. Price was 200-350. Another plumber charged us 211 for the job. Afraid to think the way we have to have overpaid for the new waterline.

I have since learned they are way overpriced. 3xs higher for the exact same job.

Never the less, my bathroom problem is fixed and they were able to get me fast so I would use them again.
We utilized Cal's plumbing when our 10 year old Toto bathroom was acting up. They were able to get me precisely the same day which was good with because of my hectic work schedule. A friendly and competent plumber shifted a part and arrived and diagnosed our problem. My only criticism is that he stated he would get a different valve and shift it out (he didn't have it on him) and call me back, but it has been weeks and I never heard back.

The person on the phone misquoted the price and they admired the price. I definitely respect that they honored the quote. Would use again even if they may be slightly more $ (at least according to other reviews I have read).
Had them come out this week and hydro jet out pipes (which too are outdated and had a few build up) They were able to come out within the week. Because the drainage wasn't solved with the hydro jet our technician did a great job and snaked the shower.

I made an emergency call to Cal's Plumbing this afternoon. The water line to the bathroom was spraying water and loose. Jonathan recognized the problem came to the rescue and replaced the value. While I was stressed about the situation, it was be a fast and easy task for him.

Would highly recommend for any pipes will just use Cal's from now on and needs.
Wonderful work! Cal's was at my door in half an hour on a Saturday and supplied an honest up front quote! We had friends from out of town coming to lunch and to not have an accessible bathroom would've been absolutely dreadful.

We had an emergency on a Saturday night. . No water from the kitchen. Darn, I was hoping for a new faucet. However it had charcoal stuff. Leonard could have offered me a brand new faucet but I didn't need you! That's honesty.

Cal's Plumbing (I take credit for discovering them) is your absolute best. Honest, dependable, and Leonard loves dogs.

Fantastic general experience and service. Though it was a job that is small, replacing the nozzle Cal's reaction time was fast, efficient and it was done. So glad we found them! Our service provider was Leonard!

I phoned Cal's Plumbing now to repair a bathroom that acted up. They could fit me day of (which was a huge plus given my busy work schedule). The plumber was polite and attempted to diagnose the problem. He changed a part that I am not sure was in need of altering (however I am not a plumber, so who is to say). Overall, I'm satisfied I found them to be on the expensive end, $140 for the ceremony.

I've called other businesses and the pricing is simply way too much compared to other businesses that deliver instant work within a price range.
Called to get a bathroom that was clogged in the business. The plumber was polite and resourceful, showed up right on time. The prices was way overboard. There was no large project. Just a bathroom removed to pull a wipe that is wet out, bathroom put back in place. 20 minutes of work.
He gave me a quote. I know I won't be phoning them. I know that replacing a bathroom isn't rocket science.

He was extremely considerate and diligent. Our drain was clogged for more than every day, and he made certain everything was checked out... out of our garbage disposal to the dishwasher drainage. However, what's best of all is that he.

This business rocks! But more so, I provide credit notably. He came within the time, texted & predicted he arrived and moved to work.
Since he made sure that he put a towel around the floor and under the sink, I say considerate. The mess was vacuumed by him and made sure things were put back under the sink.

Our property is being sold by us in Tucson and moving. We'd moved, which left coordinating home repairs difficult. Our house is years old. To complete the market required several repairs to escrow. The group in Cal's plumbing was productive and quite knowledgeable. They helped us serviced several gas connections and our main water connection and understand SWGAS issues. They handled our program, which has been amazing.

I attempted to battle with this drain demon for more than a week. I, along with a bit of help, attempted to even drain cure and plunge snake the drain. . .no luck. Don diagnosed my problem, came out and had it resolved in less than one hour. The drain today runs like a train. They will be without booking used by me again.

Leonard was great. Our hot water heater broke and discharged into drywall and our floorboards, developing a mess. I predicted Cal's Plumbing and Leonard was the call plumber. He draining the tank and assisted us was out within the hour and giving fair advice to us. He called a restoration team for us and had them out within the hour as well and we were as happy with them. We just returned after a week off to find that the cold snap Tucson experienced burst a pipe that is on our roof. Billy was able to get the issue and replace the segment of pipe that split open and told me that it had to be replaced and that the insulation that has been on the pipe had completely rotted off and came around. He mentioned that the remaining part of the insulation and tape that I used was the perfect thing to do but with the sun damage in the Arizona sun the insulation and tape only latest for a limited time.

Very helpful staff. Our house spicket in the trunk broke at 8pm and Cal's rescued over the hour.

I would like. Permit Cal's plumbing for being down to earth with explaining the busted water heater. They were the location tp reach out to in my stressful situation. Dan was making suggestions and not stress strategy and great. Thank you for your help. Great job.
