Arico Heating and Cooling

Was the whole process completely painless? No, but I can not really blame the hang-ups on Arico which did occur. And they were quick to solve the issues. Possessing these two big appliances go out in precisely the same time wasn't economical to fix, but I did quite a great deal of research on my own and Arico did very well by me about the pricing. I want to give a shout out especially to Kenny the plumber, that was particularly good. I'd definitely use this company again.
In 1 week, the breaker on my ac unit and my 20 year old water heater expired. I was looking forward to having a cooling house, and just moved in my house a bit over a year before, but it never panned out. The the AC nor the evap was had to be around, After we got in the house and we examined that they either worked. But as it was despite the AC working got stuck open somehow, and thus the AC unit never managed to cool 3/4 of my residence. The summer here was rough, and the bill was astonishing.
I can not speak to the adventures of the past two reviewers, but I had an experience that is good for AC and Plumbing with Arico.
Needing entirely new units, Arico was fantastic on pricing, openness to problem-solve, and their professionalism. It was a joy and their workers were diligent, type, and implemented themselves.
The AC unit installed, worked and for the very first time I had cold air. . .until some stage at the middle of the night once the unit shut off. I managed to reset the device, and the house would cool back, but for some reason each night, the thing would stop working and cease to follow the established program. Tech house and A week visits I believe the technician and myself were frustrated with this. After running an extremely diagnostics and talking to the manufacturer, it was found it was a result of a shield switch and that the device version had this problem. Wiring was recommended by the business around the faulty change, which the technician did, and my device was working ever since.
That is not to say there were not a few tiny hiccups in the process that I don't really blame Arico for. First, apparently the gas line for my house is really stupid, because it's an"on" position and an"off" position. The water heater has been set up a day before the AC unit, and everything was working, when left. But they needed to flip the line off again to hook it to the heating element of the AC. That technician turned the device to"on" when he left, but seemingly at my property, off means off, and on means off. . .but the area between on and off is where the gasoline is on. The water heater stopped working, and I couldnt figure out why I couldnt re-light the pilot. Assist and A technician had to come out.

I am really dissatisfied at the moment. I spent over $500.00 5 days ago to have my own plumbing snaked, a disposal substituted, plus a brand new water pump in one of my toilets.
This evening as I was preparing for bed, I discovered water and then my hallway bathroom bubbling running . I went to see what it was and water was rushing into the hallway. Blackwater. A previous plumber had advised me to uncap the trap to relieve pressure they had been holding and when I did that all the toilets and showers were relieved of their black water. This only tells me that the snake occupation did not unclog exactly what it was supposed.
I'm very upset and dissatisfied. Therefore am calling the company first thing in the am, I don't have cash to fork out to his mistakes.
The plumber that came a few days before appeared to be in a hurry. In the past, pipes ran water to see whether what flowed.

Just hope they have the components on hand to fix a faucet escape that is simple , otherwise they will charge you an additional $160 to drive around town for $79 in components.
Completely misleading in their price estimates. This billing is normal operating procedure, although I whined to the office.

I can't leave a star! This surgery is a scam. Me billed for components that weren't needed, had to return after an try at fixing a broken key, then billed me for their error! Oh, and allow as much gravel in the point my irrigation valves were stuffed with it, required innumerable flushing and causing leaking. Due to that alone I paid an extra 1000 within the next few months in large water bills! Can ypurself a favor and use anybody else.

My issue is the policy of charging to the time needed to fetch a part not in the truck of Arico.

I am so impressed with the service from this business!! I called HVAC and plumbing companies in Tucson and these folks are the very best, in my estimation. Steve, who's awesome, came right away and gave me a quote - that was good - and had the work done following the estimate with no charges that were up. He explained the procedure and kept me in the loop. Educated, he walked me - not had such excellent customer service! A home I bought had piping which had to be substituted and the AC was scrapped. The entire project was lined up by steve and implemented it! I can't say enough about Steve because he's got integrity, knowledge and customer service which can't be beat. You don't see this type of service so much anymore nowadays - only the service, no headaches! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Steve and Arico Plumbing / HVAC!

At the dead of summer that he constructed planks, and steve from Arico failed our HVAC installation and was at an attic which was about 100 degrees. Good job, # 1, fantastic workers.
There are plenty of HVAC companies that are failure and they have been used by me . One service tech from a different business actually put his foot while assessing my furnace and thought I wouldn't notice. Another tried to charge me for a part under warranty.
I've utilized Arico to install my hot water tank and air conditioning as well as my heating. I adore Veronica and Tom who always get me appointments in a timely manner. Tim, our technician was amazing. I would use no one else.

I have used ARICO for jobs at condos that were several and my home which we manage. AC and plumbing problems. Entirely satisfied each time. Liked all the techs and the cost has been fair each moment. It looks like we've had a different experience. It has to do with all the techs chosen for every task but our experiences have been positive.

He was punctual and very professional.
I'd predicted on Sunday they returned my phone first thing Monday morning.

Fair Dependable & Consistent I've had them out to your A/C the heater & to repair a broken sink. Never have had a problem with their timing, their job & I already know they are more moderately priced than others. On my broken pipe under the Kitchen sink their estimate was a third of that which Sunny the Plumber wanted AKA Goettl. I will always telephone Arico.

They leaked and couldn't be shut off 10, because I had to have my main outside water heater and two washing machine taps replaced. Called the Arico office to have the job done as soon as possible as we were having a new clothes washer. The lady at Arico said they could sent someone out the next day at 8 am. At 8 am a man name of Josh pulls up in his Arico truck. I explain to him that I'd like the two washing machine faucets replaced because theywill not shut off and're victims of Tucson water. Josh informs me unfortunately due to the type of fitting used in the taps that he will need to cut out a part of my laundry closet dry wall. Ouch! He then add's,"Or I will simply replace your outside principal water heater which will shut off water to the entire house including the washing machine when it's replaced and leave them two washing machine taps open as they are because many folks normally never shut their washing machine water anyway.
I truly enjoyed honesty, his input and saving me from spending cash than I needed to. The job was completed with quality and quickly. Josh appeared to enjoy his job and represented the business well. I'd Arico do a job for me. That time it had been an elderly gentleman named Bobby. He did a really terrific job. I'd have given him 5 stars too had I reviewed for Yelp.

At least I didn't purchase an unnecessary unit for 1000. Because of such a negative experience I will not hire these guys.
When I complained to the manager, he looked perfectly fine with the fact that the tech had attempted to sell me a brand-new device for 1000's of dollars even when it was not needed at all-- apparently this is what they are supposed to do; attempt to get clients to purchase new units.
Altered unit and the air filter worked fine. Me charged to tell me that the air filter needed to be replaced. It took the guy over 3 hours to figure that out...
The tech who showed up was either incompetent or just trying to rip me off. He spent hours in my home trying to figure out what was wrong but couldn't. He told me several times of course they would sell it to me and I had to purchase a new device for 1000. Even the people in my home told me they thought he just tried to rip me off and create an sale got a weird vibe from him.
Don't use these guys for heating or AC problems!

I had a dishwasher that is difficult install and the men were very professional. They did a gear job and I would certainly call Airco again

Sorry I can't leave zero stars. They have no clue what they are doing. The plumber was here for 3 hours but could not clear the drain. He explained he didn't have the gear. Why wouldn't he bring the gear? He said he travelled down 75 feet. Liar! Another plumber came and discovered the issue in 30 feet. They are good at sending the invoice. Avoid these guys.

I have used Arico Plumbing on two occasions and on every service call the technician arrived on time and professionally dressed. They were very professional and efficiently found the source of my water flows and repaired them. The charges both times were very affordable. I have used even and other plumbing businesses Craig list men, but if I need a plumber later on, I will certainly call Arico Plumbing. I could not ask for anything.

Horrible!!! In case you consider this company, please continue looking. This business was hired to help my mother; the repair job explained wasn't what this company performed.

We were having difficulty with water stress in our property. Dustin Maples came up with the solution in about 10 minutes and was shipped out. Our 17 year-old water softener was the culprit. Dustin did some research about costs and benefits of a new system and explained it to us in"layman's terms". The new system was promptly and professionally installed by him . Thank you thanks Dustin and Arico.

My spouse and I had been searching for a plumber because our last service call from Silverado Rooter and Plumbing didn't even make it outside in the time they assured and called an hour. Anywho, so we set an appointment up with guy and Arico Plumbing, I will say they were wonderful.
The guy was very knowledgeable and also took pride in his work that's definitely refreshing. They were very fair in their cost and that I was glad to spend the cash to have the work done. When they didn't do properly the first time they also have.
I absolutely recommend their tech and this organization is superb!

Very expensive. Move at the speed of molasses. You charge for their time if they must go to the store for parts!

We had an individual come out to our home this past year out of Arico and the guy told us that the whole air conditioner needed to be replaced, such as a portion of the ductwork in the attic!!!! Gave us a narrative about the unit/ductwork being too small for our two story/square footage and this ratio had forced the AC to work hard.
I received the name of another company from a buddy. (Heating and Solar Technologies LLC) That guy came out, educated uswe were low on Freon, and probably only needed to bring a small freon every year at the start of summer!!!! THousands cheaper.
Arico is awful news!
