7. I expressed my disbelief and extreme disappointment and called Bill.
1. January, 2019 I scheduled my services. When they called;"to affirm, rather than the 10A - 2P I requested, they scheduled"the day" ( 2 - 5 PM). Ever since then did not work for me, I searched to get a date where I'd be able to become home ALL DAY (since they never admired a timeframe; only the date. So I rescheduled for Feb 4.
4. I waited a week and checked back;"nothing yet". THis went for another few weeks. Ultimately the Costco Regional Manager for Success Water, Bill, contacted me and told me they were sorry for its delay and also for my expertise, and Success Water was willing for me a brand new system at no price. I consented, but still wanted. He explained I would be contacted by a someone from Success Water shortly.
It has taken me 2 months to write this review; my expertise for the first 2.5 years (beginning in March of 2016) was nice. However beginning early in 2019, things went! :
2. The guy showed up at the morning (about 9). He went on his servicing and that I waited in the kitchen. At this time I said my system was set up outside (as was agreed by both Success Water and me ahead of the installation). He also said he'd spoken to the office and they'd have the ability to replace the machine. And he said so that I would return on water, and not the Success water system in my yard, he put my water. So I consented and he abandoned.
3. After I thought about it, I decided I didn't need a second Success Water system if they could not guarantee it would not get contaminated again! They quoted me $225 to do this. I consented. And then set up for March 4.
5. THe email said she could set up my brand new system on March 12 but that I needed to sign the waiver and make it to Costco ahead of finishing the scheduling. I left messages that the waiver hadn't ever been mentioned and called both Bill and Alicia and that I needed to have my attorney review it.
9. Bottom line for me, is mercifully EBMUD is"ok" water and I will never deal with Success Water . I am disappointed with Costco, but not going to do anything contrary to them. I saw other reviews that are disappointed advocating this provider. I only wish to add to that!
4. Now I was upset and disappointed. WHo knows just how long that I was drinking"polluted" water? So I hunted among the Direction and went to my regional Costco. The gentleman I talked to said he'd have to notify"Costco Corporate" and would return to me.
6. My attorney advised to NOT signal as it removed any fault for Success Water for anything (even anything unrelated to the water method ). On Monday I advised them to please cancel the appointment and sent my response and I'd eliminate the water system myself.
8. At this moment, as nobody got sick, I am not likely to sue, but I would not ever give up that right. Plus without adjusting the seal to be tighter onto the lid, this might have continued to happen. With all the recent rain in CA, there are tons of problems using rodents, but NOT from the water systems besides (at least not that I know of mine!!
Terrible customer service. I don't usually write review a bad one. However, I just need to write my first one. Took over a week and has been impolite without a apologize for not getting back earlier for customer's demand. I expressed that I wasn't happy that nobody return to me because I've an problem with my drinking water. Rather than apologizing, she stated"If you want some earlier pay $180 additional" What sort of customer service is that? This person must get fired. Please find somebody who has your clients to be handled by customer service skills.
I'm not sure their product is . It's hard to tell these items although I really don't see any difference in my water. I'm considering removing the system all together out of my home. It cost me $4000 so I'm still debating that move to put in.

By restricting availability to a given area of town they attempt to optimize their time. Because they wish to support that area all on these 33, Therefore, in the event that you live in Redwood City for instance, their technicians are only available on Tuesday or Thursday. Additionally the range time is not within an hour period, but that they will come between 9AM-1PM (4 hours time range). When it comes to the customer's time, the business is completely inconsiderate.
Horrible customer service with Katie. Twice the amount of emergency service was charged for flow. She just said it would cost me $189 + the excursion fee that I agreed for the 1st two hrs (technician only spent 15mins). When agreed with the amount and my husband heard everything, she was on a speakerphone. She said that emergency service is twice the sum As soon as I looked at my credit card statement to dispute the charges that wasn't disclosed to me. Why can I agree to pay for twice the amount if $189 + excursion penalty is currently high! She will not admit and said that they always disclose. I asked for a recording of this conversation but it isn't available. I will report them to BBB.
I wish I could offer them a MINUS 5! We have had this system because 2008, We have since they require it serviced EVERY YEAR. They DO NOT give service. They give a 4 hour window to be kept captive in your home to you! The so called service we've received from this company is a joke! THEY HAVE NEVER met with their service program in 11 years. I am the idiot to believe every year with a sad song and dance that they will be good this time. I'll NEVER do Business with them . I'll find this system to be serviced by somebody, I need to replace it that to play games for this shabby company which does not have any value for customers and would rather have it break down. All they are after is their test. Don't be fooled by these, there are many different systems out there and businesses which will look after you and want!
Ecowater sends people once I call out, but they all do is place some drops in a water sample, tell me it's soft and nothing can be accomplished.
They tell you to use soap. Not correct. They let you know your hair won't be as dry and it will not feel like straw. Not correct. Skin and my hair are drier if anything. I need to use additional hair products to get a comb through my hair and that I use lotion throughout the day. When using my own water, guests from out of town tell me exactly the exact same thing.
The water heater seemingly does the job, but they tell you about the benefits of having water that is soft also I have not noticed any.
I purchased from them and they can do nothing to help me. I wasted a lot of money. I'm removing this system .
Will not recommend success water method. It will work out also pricey.
Purchased this under sink water filter system from Success Water System in Costco two years back. Their filter didnt function. Replace a new one and again now after two months of altering post and pre filer they stopped functioning. Need to invest about $330 for and support filter. They shipped and I need to spend money on support:-LRB-
If they'd have sent the filter in the first place, I would have not called for support and saved around $180
Nevertheless, when it comes to Ecowater, that can be Costco recommended service, I'd awful experience. Since I asked for setup, It's been two months and that I don't have the service at my house.
Worst experience I ever had from Costco recommended service. I have a very high opinion regarding the Costco. I am happy with the customer service them with all and I purchase all my house stuff, furniture, solar setup .
I have a house with two big holes on the roof that the plumber did throughout the initial checkup, no setup done, cash not credited back and trying to reach out to the company. Never had such a pain.
Initially, two months back, I contacted them and got a price quote of 5995$ to the installation of this water treatment service in my house. I went as I trust Costco, even though I felt it was high. They did not have an appointment for setup. They finally came to set up after one month but he did not know how the plumbing work is done(my house was only 4 annual old and fairly new) and moved back. Then there wasn't any response back from them NOTHING. I then called them daily for two weeks to get their attention to the issue(and most of the calls go to voicemail since they do not have appropriate customer support ), after which they came back to setup and requested another 975$ on top the high price initial quote. Btw, just to remind youthey never mention this once during the two visits they did to check the house, nor if the plumber came for the very first time.

Feeling pressured into paying for the work rendered without an estimate We asked to speak to a manager and phoned. We were told they would let the manager know about it.
The last cost came to $578 Later, he replaced all four filters. It had just been 1 year of 3?
Called for annual provider, the scheduling was hard to find a date for them. We got our date and had the 48hr notice to get our time for our appointment. They"no showed" that appointment. Thus, we waited til they had an appointment period that was open again and predicted to reschedule a missed appointment.
Before any work began, he forgot to provide an estimate for the price of the services. He proceeded to operate on the filters tosses out the 4"old filters" to substitute all of them with new ones.
Nobody has got in touch with us.

Ok, the water method was purchased by past owners of our home here in Vacaville. It was somewhat pricey. But hey, I wished to have the water, therefore nice.
Adequate water system, Quite expensive, The Woman on the phone told me it would be Around $300 for them to come out and Perform the yearly maintenance but when I got the system they Informed me it would be Around $125 and then they show up and it's a Bit over $400 seems Quite expensive, I Am Watching on Amazon you can Find the Whole system for 199 and yet I was charged Nearly that for 3 filters
STAY AWAY!!!! It's been nothing but a nightmare dealing with this organization since it had been through Costco and I also trusted in it. My headache started with dreadful follow through with the descaler shooting carbon whenever the water conducted throughout my pipes that came the faucets out with issues and installation. And we gave since Success Water clarified that's normal for a period of time it MONTHS to stop doing this. Apparently they intended eternally We had surprise and a new system brought out. The solution was to hook the system to how it was designed to get the job done up backwards. Yes, that is what they told us! We predicted Costco, and discussed with our frustration and worries, but finally have them try. So we have proceeded, until now the carbon did stop coming through the pipes. We were contacted a lot of times through calls and postcards to program a yearly maintenance visit for our system, so we did. Once the technician showed up in the four hour window that they give you, two weeks ahead of the appointment that he informs me there is not any care on descaler systems today. He doesn't know why they scheduled this or what he is supposed to do. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I am done with this company, I prefer to buy another system again.
Turns out, there was still water from the brine tank. So they sent another tech named it to be fixed by Gus out. Gus arrived super early (again, important plus) and understood right away what needed to be done. It took him no more than 5 minutes to repair it. Now, my water heater is currently working as good as new.
The tech's name was Jesse and he came out a couple of days. Jesse arrived earlier than I expected, that was a plus. And he, too, was incredibly knowledgeable about what needed to be fixed. Jesse was considerate and hard working. He explained he was going to do, and went over all the charges in great detail (that was consistent with what Lloyd had told me previously). Again also. He made sure everything functioned properly before leaving, but told me that when anything happens, they have a 60-90 day warrantee for services & components.
Awesome service! I left a message on their site regarding my malfunctioning water softener and received a text out of them that same day (like literally only 2-3 hours afterwards ). I'm in CA San Jose along with the 3 individuals I recommend from Success Water who service this area are Lloyd, Jesse and Gus.

Lloyd came out to evaluate my water heater around 3 days later we spoke and was the first man to get me. He understood what was wrong and explained what needed to be done to it in good detail. He was extremely kind and educated.

Alright, so we purchased the water purification program last year as a Costco promotion. It's the potassium one maybe not the sodium . OMG it's so terrific! My skin is really soft. My bathtub stall stays cleaner. Can't thank Earnie enough for being so honest and informative about what to expect and also for keeping his word. He said he'd make it he got everything done on time. Hauled away and made sure we felt comfortable with how to keep the new system. He said he'd be out this year for the ceremony and he left. He goes over and beyond for his customers. Great job!
As of this season, I request to schedule a date to transfer my water softener in my old house to home. And Holly (the appointment lady) three times and end up giving me a mindset over the phone about scheduling an appointment to preview the plumbing setting on my new home. Again the experience stays after one year as BAD!
I am with Eco Water system about two years. Overall experience was horrific! I scheduled a maintenance program on a weekday with a wide waiting window. I thought that is a bit long of a delay, but it is the way in which the company operations. So I request a day adapt this. Guess what! The appointment was cancel because the tech called in sick. My thought is. . .isn't there ought to be tech to get a back up plan?! So I asked the phone operator to find out whether the technician can come during weekend and the response is no. Is any possible way to come back the following week instead of 6 months wait. The lady on the phone said confirm she wants to assess, and call me back. Guess what. . .NEVER call me back!
I got this unit! And I will check and see whether I can return this. This unit is not the least expensive unit compare to other brands and not certain customer service may be so horrific!
1-yr Update: Filter change assistance did not happen.
My Success reverse osmosis process is great up to now. I bought through Costco. Well informed, sharp, friendly customer service.
I also had them install, for an additional fee, an instantaneous water heater with"In Sink Erator," so I have filtered hot water for tea. I suppose I'm set until the filter change is performed by them.
Horrible. They promptly 5 pm with no one. In spite of calling them twice to confirm appointments and stay at home, no one showed up
Avoid this company in any way costs is prohibitively costly and horrible. Consistently receiving their appointment dates fouled up. They never admit fault. I'd have given them zero stars but not potential on yelp.
We're very pleased and most impressed by Ernie Martinez and Jeff Falk. We're very convinced that this, our third party water system in seven decades, is going to be.
Jeff Falk was punctual to start our install, yesterday. Jeff worked tirelessly to make sure all plumbing was done. He took care of each detail. He installed a new faucet as the machine was completed by him below the sink. He took the opportunity to explain how to keep everything.
Our Costco Water System was ordered by us . We were contacted by success Water System and Ernie Martinez set an appointment up. Mr. Martinez arrived timely, was exceptionally knowledgeable, and gave us some options from which to pick. Clarify the process and ernie made us comfortable with our choice was really helpful and went out of the way to answer our questions.
