I Am super impressed by Detour Plumbing. I will call just Detour for any pipes needs I have from here on, although I loathe that I had a plumbing problem. These men handled company. I couldn't be happier.
Jesse Mendoza and Javier Garcia were both knowledgeable, very professional, and respectful of my own property. They got in, found the problem, and solved it right away. Detour even sent Marcus, over a quality control manager, to ensure everything was up to par.

Outstanding Quality Control / Outstanding ProfessionalismShould you need a plumber to fix your problem, there are dozens and dozens of these. Should you need a plumber to fix your problem, leave you in a much better state than they found you, inspect their work thoroughly, be courteous and professional, respect your challenging situation, and treat you fairly and frankly, I am not sure you will find very many of these.

Detour did all of those things for me and my family when all of pipes hell broke loose in our residence. They got my business and I will refer them to anyone who requires a plumber, regardless of this job's size.

I don't know why this firm does not have 200 testimonials or at least 100, but they're awesome and I would recommend them They are better than Super Mario and Luigi dressed .
I couldn't be happier with Detour Plumbing. From start to finish, the t's were crossed, the J and the I's dotted's made it happen. J as in Javier and Jesse! Haha They had been on time, super considerate and kind, nicest dressed plumbers I've ever seen and although we had been quoted $1,295 for a messed up drier vent (we knew it had an issue, so were not surprised), they found that a different problem than what we had thought and saved us over $1,000!! I'm serious. I was blown away. They came out and said"great news," we don't need to conduct all that venting!

The great: They showed up to provide us a quote.
The bad: The quote was $1400 higher than the company which actually did the job.

We had an amazing experience with Detour. Each of the boxes checked - priced, timely, friendly, comprehensive and clean!! I'd definitely hire them again. I also adored the status of the job their dispatch software that kept me up to date when they would arrive, and even pictures with the invoice. All around a fantastic experience and I'd recommend them to some of my friends and loved ones.

I was able to get someone out and called. Due to our water in the Valley my shower faucet wouldn't function. Hugo showed up and managed fix the problem right away and to substitute it. He wore shoe covers when indoors to protect the hardwood and carpet (huge and we do not wear shoes inside the house). He cleaned up and put back together what I had taken aside trying to diagnose the problem.
For any plumbing requirements, I will be calling detour!

I made an appointment and called the day to provide me a free fair cost estimate and Hugo came out. I made plans for Hugo to return the next day... He had been on time and very respectful. So he didn't dirty my carpet he wore covers. He left his workspace clean and also cleaned up after himself. Put in a clean outside and he had to snake 3 drains. He did a good job and worked quickly. He had been quiet and respectful since my son was sleeping. I will call them again if I have some plumbing issues.

Called out them for an estimate very professional and prompt did a great job will be using them later on!

They were so professional and adapting we chose to go with them. The next morning by 9am sharp there have been a team of guys ready to start work. Donovan, Chris and hugo were so great! Boy did they work! I was impressed. It took a few days but our principal line is completely new and pefect! An incredible expert team ready and willing to go beyond to meet their customer. Totally recommend and I will use them.
When our pipes was backed up our nightmare began on Thursday. I posted. Within 20 minutes Jared and Jesse were at our house with a camera! We found dreadful news out, that we would have to replace our entire sewer line. :(

Can't say enough good things. The owner, jerry, came to look no more problem saving me thousands from possibly re-piping. If you reside in the Sierra Estates place in Newhall you should definitely use him since he knows that region well.

Update: Hugo & Chris came back to do the extra work for us. They did an wonderful job!! Came on time, very respectful and professional. These guys are amazing! I feel really relieved that our 25 year old faucets & valves are replaced. We've got Detour Plumbing on speed dial up now! Thank you Hugo & Chris!!!
My expertise with Detour Plumbing was a nightmare's conclusion. I had a leak in the kitchen and called a different plumber that NEVER called me backagain. I called Detour Plumbing after reading some excellent reviews on Yelp. Hugo showed up at 12:30! He put on shoe covers, before he arrived in the home. Looked in the flow & explained what needed to be carried out. He left a list of parts , went to get them & returned and fixed the issue! Everything then cleaned up! Hugo is currently returning to do some extra work for us. We are grateful to find him & Detour Plumbing. Thank you Hugo & Detour Plumbing!

Since I could not wait a week I was referred by my plumber. Detour was on time professional and very thorough. I liked the walk that was extra . Overall.

I phoned them at 9:00 that he was at my house at 9:45. Stopped within an hour.
We arrived home to find water coming out of a wall.
With having a 3 month old and a 5 yr old water is a must. With bathrooms and washing bottles I can not have the water turned that off
Update: Danny came now to permanently fix our aluminum pipe and it looks excellent. He showed him exactly what and how he did it and was quite pleasant for my son. My son was quite interested in his work. I appreciate him being so nice to my little man.
Jared came out to get an emergency telephone at 9:45pm. He was respectful considerate, and prompt.

We would utilize Detour Plumbing again. What was most striking was the continuous communication to us so that we understood what was going on, how much time it would take, etc.. We have experienced it with other contractors.

We woke up to locate flooding in our yard. After phoning around, we got ahold of Detour Plumbing. Gary, the field manager, was out over 10 minutes to assess the issue. In one hour, we had a group. . .even once the outside temperature was in triple digits. They repaired our broken water line and the cost was less than we expected. They did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves, and were well-equipped, professional.

Joseph and his spouse went above and beyond for us. We had 4 bathrooms replaced and had a strict budget. Joseph got the cost and worked together with me $200 BELOW our funding. Everywhere else has been quoting me $200 above. They were quick, professional, and punctual. I cannot recommend them enough. Jared was also amazing. Easy to get ahold of and constantly ready to answer any questions or concerns.

Hugo installed my sink faucet and adjusted a slight mistake their experienced plumber made on a tub faucet (reversed hot/cold), so took one star away for that. They do a fantastic job and are extremely friendly.

I recommend detour plumbing for your plumbing requirements. We had a pipe under our slab, Don saved us and came up with a solution that was fantastic to Reroute our kitchen sewer line which was great. They made a major job look easy. Don and javier are awesome! They made me feel comfortable and both answered all of my questions. They are extremely knowledgeable. Thanks detour!

Detour plumbing, I highly recommend, 2 years ago they add a new main line for us....today they just completed a sewer line for us. . .Javier finished the job, he was professional, educated, was friendly and answered all of our questions....Don was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and made all of the arrangements for the job....what a wonderful team! Everything was cleaned up and we are happy. Thank you, Detour, we know who to call when a plumbing job is in order!
