Dollar Plumbing

My garbage disposal started leaking on Sunday afternoon. So I couldn't use that aspect of the sink water passed directly through it actually. I guess it served a useful life after 9 decades. I went out and purchased a nice unit from Costco and called Dollar to get it installed. They weren't available that afternoon to come out, but said they would be out on Monday involving 9-11am.
Al looked at the replacement and my disposal and showed up around 9:30 I purchased. He'd need to repipe a good deal of stuff under the sink, although he explained he could install it. He pulled the device and set it under the sink, although I was a bit cynical. Yep, it was not going to fit right. He recommended that he gave me a estimate and substitute it.
Should I've plumbing problems I have no issues with Dollar and will use them again.
He came back about one hour and replaced my disposal. He is good at his job. He analyzed everything to make certain that there were no leaks and then he gave me some advice on what to throw in the disposal.

Called because tenant needed a stopped up kitchen sink. Wasn't a weekend, wasn't after hours but Three Benjamins. Rootered the sink, and also the side blank out for approximately an hour and a half. Need to locate a reasonably priced plumber that doesn't charge neurosurgeon rates.

Very prompt, very fair and trustworthy. We have our plumber at Livermore! He gave great advice on replacing our taps. Needed to remain more than he probably anticipated, but completed the job.

They were able to quote me their service charge rate before coming out (which most firms wouldn't do). The company was able to come out. Came out assessed the job. Turning flushing toilets, checking under the house for leaks. And while doing so the drains which were clogged cleared themselves. I had to cover the service fee. They didn't take advantage. Great customer service!

Business available 24 hours every day. Al and Kevin were specialist and that they were able to solve it quickly since they ran into a problem. I highly recommend this firm.

I never needed to call a plumber! Trusting another Yelp testimonials, I called Dollar Plumbing in the morning having the emergency"kitchen not draining" position and they made it out to me within 4 hours. Out and in they needed to snake out into the drain, and they fixed it! I liked their company ! I like encouraging the local businesses! Thank you, Al for the support!

Immediate mended our drain blockage without mess or a fuss. When the need arises, will use again.

I believe George Washington would turn over in his grave if he knew Dollar Plumbing is using him as a part of their logo.
A regular plumber would phone me first and give me a quote, then they'd ask for permission to move. None of that occurred. My feeling is they saw an opportunity to make the most of a situation and charged an"emergency charge." All the more reason? They charged us to snake from the clean out that is right there in yard to the sidewalk. Dollar is a No Go, although sorry to the other testimonials. Appears like to them the"Dollar" is on their side not yours or mine.
I have a home in Livermore I manage for a few renters. Once they moved , the sewer line backed up due to greater utilization using the water. It happens. We've got a tree in which the roots go into the pipe about 10-15 feet in the house, about $200 maximum to snake from the handy clean out situated about 10 feet in the tree. My plumber's schedule could not allow him to get there the following day. Unknown to me, the tenant named Dollar Plumbing. When it occurred, that was. We have scammed.

We had our main water line replaced. We got quotes but were impressed by Dollar Plumbing's answer. They came with a bid but also outlined how they'd proceed with the job. There time of completion has been less than others, there quality of materials was the very best, and they were very considerate of myself and my spouse. Highly recommend them.

I phoned Dollar Plumbing to assist with an issue I had with our tub, it was not draining. They had someone show that they gave me. He was very thorough and cautious since I reside in an older home and he didn't want to damage any of those pipes. I appreciated it very much. Best of all the price was great! Don't hesitate to recommend them.

Right from the get go I didn't feel that the"hope".
My point is why there is a difference. How can one be trusted after such an adventure. I am lazy to write testimonials, but this one I felt really compelled to.
I got another quote from another plubming company for 550 USD (through images sent by yelp and text) and I moved with them. They did a decent job.
I obtained a quote for a project to substitute 3 valves and 2 hose bibes for $1400 USD along with the plumber (AL) immediately gave me $200 USD discount. I also had to cover their trip to assess the situation ( that I didn't mind paying).

Quick and True. Called and inside an hour on a Saturday they were there to fix my kitchen sink clog. Al was great and personable and even left me because the sink was leaking out of the"basket gasket". . .whatever that's!

Al came the same day we didn't leave before the job has been finished, and called. He replaced our water heater and did the necessary adjustments to bring everything up to code. Al was equally courteous and professional. She said that everything was done exactly as it ought to be After the city inspector came by. We were totally satisfied and plan to call him when we have other plumbing needs.

I did price to the job that needs to be carried out and the job very cleanly reasonable and would recommend using this company very reliable in time.

We've utilized Dollar Plumbing for a couple of jobs today and are satisfied with their job. The company is reliable and fast with prices that are competitive. Owner Al Jerusalem makes you feel as though you're being cared for. Al managed to deal with the decaying pipes and we've needed to substitute 40-year-old faucets and managed a fix that is basic but desired to the dry wall. A much better experience than we've had.

As ours developed a leak we needed a new water heater. Al made a few recommendations arrived punctually by the next day and got it replaced quickly for us. Overall a professional expertise. We'll be calling Al to our plumbing needs.
